Today was the start of their autumn brunch.Their seasonal cocktails have changed too which we got to try all 4 of them.The starters came which looked like the woods. The foie gras with cherries and brioche was definitely my favorite starter. Their pumpkin and chestnut soup was rich and aromatic and my second favorite.Beef tartar was good but i would have preferred slightly less sauce.The mains came and we tried 3 different types. My parents had the steak and lamb and I took a bite of both, which were tender and seasoned just right.
The sides were great as well. The cauliflower cuscus was my favorite though the mashed potato and waffle fries were just as attractive.
It was my birthday celebration and there was a complementary cheesecake. It was rich without being too sweet.
The dessert stand came out which was equally stunning the chestnut and pecan tarts and pumpkin ice cream. The grapes were a nice addition to the dessert stand but I would have slightly preferred a tartier fruit to balance out the whole dessert platter.
Depending on your package, their are different free flow drinks(champagne, coffee) and we chose the basic one since we won't be able to try all cocktails.
Landscape was my favorite with the sweet angel rose and sherry as its main component yet having a tangy component of the grapefruit.
Black Forest as a nice truffle aroma and fruity finish but my parents found it a bit weird to have truffle in their cocktails.
Into the woods was the more refreshing cocktail though it is quite strong.
Despite my love for Disney, Groot was my least favorite. Looking forward to their winter brunch.
