I made a good choice of selecting the plain noodles in beef broth so that I could try the side dishes which included tofu, ducks blood, beef tendon and tripe.
The Sichuan stinky tofu was really good but the texture of the ducks blood was a bit like konjac. The noodles were good and hung the broth nicely and I am glad I chose the beef broth because by adding some of the Sichuan sauce to the noodles it was basically the Sichuan broth.
The beef tendons were so soft and gelatinous with a good flavour.
My friend had the chilled signature noodles which was tossed in a sweet sesame sauce complimented by wasabi powder.
Finished with some really good drinks.
The Pineapple Tea was natrual and it had pineapple juice in it while the pearls were al dente. I like the way, they are being environmentally friendly by using metal straws.
