It was a family Sunday with my little puppy in Sai Kung. We walked along the waterside promenade and arrived at See Cheung Street. Since the Pizzeria is pet-friendly and air-conditioned on the second floor, we chose to have lunch there. Yet food and services were both disappointing. Lunch set is affordable, priced around $100 with soup/ salad, main and drinks. However, the following were far from satisfaction. 1. Lunch set is affordable, priced around $100 with soup/ salad, main and drinks. However, the following were far from satisfaction.
1. Messy table number and thus messy food delivery
Staff members are obviously not familiar with the seating arrangement; perhaps second floor is not always used except weekends. Their unfamiliarity resulted in wrong delivery and therefore super long waiting time to more than half an hour for one of the mains. It happened that food for the ‘earlier table’ was delivered to the ‘later table’ instead. The long wait was frustrating.
2. Horrible drinks
Milk tea was like sugar water (extremely sweet). Fruit tea tasted a bit like medicine; not exaggerating but failed fruit drinks are sometimes like medicine.
3. Inconsistent portion
The food portion could vary a lot of around one-third. My spaghetti was tiny while mum’s one was greatly generous.
Despite being pet-friendly and the good price, I might never visit again.
