Quick Christmas dinner catch up with a good friend. Openriced and arrived at the restaurant at 7:15, it was almost empty. Ordered a buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and fig salad 🥗 & octopus 🐙 and grape salad to share as appetisers. Both salads were in rather big portions for two, salad was fresh and I especially enjoyed the pairing of the octopus with sweet grapes. For main, I ordered a truffle ravioli as main. Rather disappointing pasta. It was presented warm, and I could hardly taste /
For main, I ordered a truffle ravioli as main. Rather disappointing pasta. It was presented warm, and I could hardly taste / smell the truffle. It tasted more like a mixed mushroom with cream ravioli. 😢
To finish off the meal, we ordered two extra desserts: an apple pie with vanilla ice cream 🍨 and a tiramisu. Both desserts were mediocre.
To sum up, except for the appetisers, the mains and desserts were pretty disappointing. Staffs and service weren’t very welcoming as well, I asked for a glass of water and they said I could only order a bottle of either still or sparkling from them.
