Reasonably priced and uniquely curated fusion menu certainly set itself apart from the highly saturated restaurant scene in Wanchai. Gaw’s Carbonara $98
An asian take on pasta with a sauce packed with southern-asian flavors, not too pungent but incredibly flavorsome with a little spicy kick. The pork neck and liver pate added much earthy flavor that I absolutely love. The tagliatelle cling on the sauces incredibly well. It’s a very different interpretation of carbonara, and it’s very delicious!

Moo ‘Salpicao’ $118
US tenderloin cooked with garlic and house sauce. The tenderloin is quite tender but it’s leaning towards well done, would’ve preferred a medium rare. But the sauce is delicious. Complemented with cauliflower rice which absorbed all the residual sauces and it’s cooked with garlic that adds extra flavor to the otherwise dull cauliflower.

Ube ice cream sandwich $48
Ube (purple sweet potato) flavored ice cream sandwiched between soft roll. It’s definitely very photogenic but didn’t have the wow factor in taste. The ube flavor is subtle and more on the sweet side, not particularly impressed.
