Jacky's kitchen is located between Tin Hau and Fortress Hill MTR station. It's a little walk from the busy streets but a quaint little place for couples.Ordered the 5-course set dinner. The decor is rather warm and homey as opposed to the repetitive decor in chain restaurants. The scallop salad was spot on with the sweet and fresh seared scallops and well-dressed salad. The scallop salad was spot on with the sweet and fresh seared scallops and well-dressed salad. Lobster bisque could be richer but I'd prefer Jacky's rather than the overly salty ones elsewhere.
The baked oyster was really nice. Covered with melted cheese, the juicy oyster together with the spinach and bacon bits made a mouthful of richness and creaminess.
Next was the cod with lemon butter sauce. I love how the garnish was nicely cut and arranged. The cod was crispy on the outside and moist inside.
Not a fan of soufflé but this chocolate soufflé was one of the best in town. The soufflé was perfectly puffed up and the centre was still moist.Service was really prompt and attentive.The waiters were able to explain the differences between the dishes and refill water when needed.
