Sukiyaki Nakagawa is the lastest Sukiyaki restaurant in Causeway bay operated by Japanese Chef, Itagaki san. We picked the“ITARU” dinner menu at HKD$1380. Each Course was impressive started from the appetiser as such the Ezo awabi, Hotaruika, Foie Gras toast were impressive. The Chawanmushi was a hit after the first cold dish. Sashimi platter came with Akami, Ika, and Aburi Kinmedai, their fermanted miso beans pairs so great with the Tuna, it’s a must try item. Toast are usually crispy but their version is slightly different on purpose. the toast was soaked in egg wash to enhance the silkiness.

Main beef part includes 3 types of top ranked Japanese Wagyu from Hokkaido, Mie-ken, and Kyushuand. And pairs with the best ranked Egg from Kodawari (兵庫県 古川市). The fluffy egg white version was a creative way to dip with the wagyu beef, it tastes so much different from the original.

Not filling enough? don’t worry. the Cold Udon with Lime Dashi and the Uni Rice with the brown wagyu will definitely fill your belly.
