Heard pretty good things about the al-fresco Cotton Tree Pizzeria at The Murray and was eager to try out their authentic Italian pizzas! 🍕 Pic 1️⃣: 𝑷𝒆𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒖𝒄𝒌 𝑷𝒊𝒛𝒛𝒂 - $280 hkd 🍕🦆 — Definitely not the usual pizza choice most people go for but I just couldn’t resist trying this out, and honestly I really enjoyed the flavours in this and would come back just for it 😂 The hoisin sauce and creme fraiche combination worked harmoniously together, and the peking duck slices were flavourful and tender as

— Definitely not the usual pizza choice most people go for but I just couldn’t resist trying this out, and honestly I really enjoyed the flavours in this and would come back just for it 😂 The hoisin sauce and creme fraiche combination worked harmoniously together, and the peking duck slices were flavourful and tender as well. The leek and spring onions added a nice aroma to the pizza and made the flavours really resemble a regular peking duck wrap. The chilis were a unique addition to give it a nice kick and flavour boost. The pizza base itself was nice and crispy on the outside too but had a decent thickness to it which I enjoyed.

— Personally thought the parsley flavours were a bit too strong in this and it just masked all of the other elements in the dish. The sauce was also not what I expected from a linguine vongole as it was quite creamy and thick as opposed to a light white wine sauce. The clams were fresh and plump, and pasta was cooked to a perfect al-dente texture. Overall flavours of the dish could do with some improvement.

— Great salad to start off with! The black truffle dressing was super tasty but not overpowering, and the truffle shavings on top really added to the rich truffle flavours. The slow-cooked egg gave the dressing that extra bit of creaminess. Veggies were crisp and fresh, so a great salad overall.
📍Ambiance: Great for sunny and breezy weather. Perfect date spot too!
⭐️Would visit again?: Probably! Definitely good to try out though!
