We were disappointed the moment we arrived at the restaurant. Although we were greeted by a server, he simply told us that our table was at the balcony upstairs after knowing that we have made a dinner booking in advance. As we made our way to the upper floor, there were three servers in the area but none of them approached us, which definitely made us feel unwelcome and, to some extent, as if we were invisible. With no other choice, we helped ourselves to a table in the balcony area. We waited
We ordered Fish & Chips and Shepherd's Pie. As the Fish & Chips arrived, we could smell the unbearable stench of the fish from a distance before even tasting it. The signature dish left us disappointed, the fish being very dry and tasteless, and the chips was also below standard. For HK$198+, I got a worst then fast food quality. Moreover, the Shepherd's pie was definitely not any better; to begin with, the size of the dish surprised us. The Shepherd's Pie was just a thin layer of meat & mashed potatoes placed in a 10cm square tin and it costed HK$198+. Much like the Fish&Chips, it was also dry and tasteless.
When we asked for the bill, it was a big shock - we were charged for three beers, which, we didn't even order, so please check your bill if you dine at this restaurant
GR should come to taste the food - I can imagine how he would be complaining about this horrendous meal that is being served under his name .
