We were celebrating my friend's birthday, and since they were doing a promotion with 20% off, we decided to come here for fine dining.I was ready to ignore the old fashioned decoration and the poor view for good italian food. However, I was very very disappointed!!I ordered the lobster soup which the waiter said it was their house speciality. Then, my main course was australian wagyu beef tenderloin. It was medium rare, perfectly cook, but there was no flavour in the beef.
My friend had the linguine lobster with basil sauce. The portion was small, and wasn't flavorful. She also had the rib eye. It was better than mine and cheaper as well.
Finished with a warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (so so) and affogato, which is vanilla ice cream with espresso. It's very traditional in Italy, but the espresso is supposed to be room temperature and should bring some sweetnes with it.
Overall, dinner was way below expectation.
With discount and all that, it's $550 per head.
I won't come again!
