Pepper Lunch serves steaks on a special iron plate (patented in Japan) that keeps the temperature at approximately 80 degrees C (175 degrees F) for 20 minutes.The steaks are cooked in front of you, where they sizzle in the gravy.The first time I encountered Pepper Lunch was at Langham place, but they only served beef back then.Now they offer more variety and they have chicken and salmon too.Out of all the other branches, I prefer this branch because it is not part of a food court.At this branch,

In my opinion the garlic soy sauce tastes better because I found the honey brown sauce too sweet.
For the sizzling plates, you can pay extra and get a side dish such a mashed potatoes in gravy which I shall try next time.

Curry chicken and mushrooms:
The black pepper taste was strong and quite prominent against the curry sauce.
On top of the rice, there was sweet and crisp sweetcorn niblets which balanced out the spiciness of the curry and black pepper.

The caramel sauce was quite sweet and the yellow bean powder on the icecream balanced out the sweetness from the syrup.
