This restaurant used to be a steak house called Carlo Riva but now it is a Hong Kong style cha chaan teng.I was still hungry after dinner so went here to get a second round.Ironically I sat on the same table that I sat before on the previous visit and ate something similar.I had the HK style toast filled with runny cheese which was also a cheese as I had raclette when I went to Carlo Riva.Anyway, the lady asked me if I wanted syrup with it and I was like Hell no. Syrup and Cheese, hmmmmm but anyway they give you the syrup separately and luckily not poured on.
The cheese wasn't runny and it tasted like those melted cheese triangles wrapped in foil.I don't know the brand they use in HK but in UK we have dairylea triangles.
The overall taste was ok but I would have preferred cheddar.
