When you has been worked for couple years after school life, for most people they definitely feel the school life was really nostalgic. Skipping lessons, sleeping during the lessons, finishing projects few days before deadline, joining activities, laughing with friends etc.. these were some precious time for everyone, espeically when you compared with your current life. Kind of delicate and warm with only few tables but is a preferable place. The table cloth drew the pictures of harbour in my mind and I felt like lying on the bench looking at the sea... just kidding LOL
One for one, the lower one was Das Bier while the other one was Guinness Surger, you can see the name of the beer was exactly the same as of the restaurant, maybe the owner loves this beer so much? Both of them were sweet and mild, very different from the common beers. Not high alcoholic so that even girls won't be afraid of getting drunk.
Pork Knuckle, tell you what, it was absolutely crispy!! The meat was so tender but not strong in taste, comparing with other similar one, I prefer this because of less salty. Not too much tendon, every bite was full of meat. When we were at the young age, we seldom came to this kind restaurant. Wouldn't you think this is a man's thing? However, as we grow, the stronger feeling for us to come for beer.
Super German Sausage Platter, served with the most common sausage, bratwurst, smoked bratwurst, and bockwurst. All of them had different texture and taste, ranging from springy to chewy Simply the best choice in German meals. The mustard sauce provided was a bit sweet, not strong. My preference.
Lamb rack, a bit sweet as well, like honey, actually quite matching with the lamb. Although the meat was not tender as my expectation, it gave fare texture. The smell of mutton was not "enough", to be honest. Even I am a person that couldn't stand the smell very much would say this. Maybe the spices were too strong to cover the smell.One dinner, 4 hours talk. I haven't been sit and chat for that long for a long time. In our whole life, we always need to find one that can share everything with you. We don't actually need he or she to solve the problems you encounter but only listen. After school life, most of us don't have much time to gather with old friends. But every time we meet, it always a good time to laugh!
