這天在港島區參加了一個試酒會後,離開現場而準備乘搭巴士回家時,突然收到一位好友來電,在中環的私人會所--香港華商銀行公會的秋冬蛇宴中有一剩餘位置(因其中有位飯腳突然有事未能出席),有興趣者可立刻趕去;許久之前,曾搭另一好友之利而到過此會所,對其出品之美味留下良好印象;而這次難得有個上好機會冷手執個熱煎堆,當然欣然答應前往;匆匆趕到,招牌依然是那麽光潔亮眼;餐廳內的燈光亮度適中,抽氣與冷氣俱良好,固然使人感覺舒服!好友已為我留起之前的數道前菜食物,所幸一些炸物仍夠熱度,吃來相當酥脆可口;而此時,剛好來了是夜的足料主角--花膠絲燴五蛇羹;侍應生將湯窩的蛇羹平均地分到碗內,期間飄來陣陣的陳皮與冬菇交織的氣息,直引人垂涎!湯底應是選用了優質上湯,做成的蛇羹濃稠度適中,五蛇絲及肉絲的細嫩口感,搭上了湯羹綿滑的質感,相亙在味蕾上翩翩起舞,上演了讓人精神一振的一幕!爾後,陳皮的甘香韻味透出,成為精彩的一筆,與冬菇絲香氣的合奏,無不令在席人仕衷心讚賞!伴隨蛇羹的是--生炸百花蛇丸伴金磚豆腐;除了滋補暖身的功效外,百花蛇丸的外脆內彈的質感,與蛇羹的綿滑形成更佳的層次!金磚豆腐的外皮更加酥脆,點點的椒鹽味

不知道是否先前喝了酒而放大了味蕾,只覺這個蛇宴的菜式豐盛而又特別美味,尤其那個滋補暖身的蛇羹,在味道上在功夫上,都呈現了一定的功架,加上羊腩煲的絕妙搭檔,都令在座之友人留下極佳的印象!
