窩夫與蝦子餅在銅鑼灣逛街後想吃泰國菜,窩夫想起開業多年的「泰簡單」,便帶蝦子餅去開餐。窩夫很喜歡餐廳的環境,特別喜歡這個打卡位。走進餐廳,侍應們都是說泰文的,彷彿置身泰國。窩夫點了鮮椰青($58),冰凍清甜。特飲款式不少,蝦子餅點了黃金夢($60),即鮮菠蘿汁溝鮮芒果汁,比例剛好,十分好喝。烤豬頸肉沙律($108)的豬頸肉份量很多,用新鮮爽脆的生菜包著來吃特別滋味。蝦子餅愛喝的冬蔭功(二人用$92),配料豐富,味道偏辣。馬拉盞炒通菜($105)惹味但不會過鹹,也不油膩,通菜還保持翠綠。皇宮大蝦蛋網炒金邊粉($138)的蛋網美得捨不得弄破,炒金邊粉味道地道。皇宮大蝦味道酸酸甜甜的,有點像港式的茄汁蝦碌。鮮芒果糯米飯($55)的芒果粒像要滿瀉,有十大粒之多,味道香甜,下面是加了椰漿的白糯米飯,另可選黑糯米。千層糕($15)的班蘭味香濃,口感煙韌。
