We hadn't come here for cakes for a long long time. We were trying to look for seats during lunch hour on a week day and were told by the servers (who were really a bit rude) that we were supposed to pay and order first before getting seats . Originally I wanted to order something else but immediately changed my mind when I saw this Mango Mascarpone Mousse Cake. It looked just SO-SO pretty! 
 It was so easy to cut and looked so tidy even inside! Taste-wise it was really refreshing. It was pretty rich in mango and also coconut which made it smell so good. The mousse inside was pretty smooth while the slightly crunchy base added a bit of texture to the cake which was really appreciated.

This Dark Chocolate & Passion Fruit Cake was exclusive. Comparatively this one was less outstanding because you could tell that the chocolate mousse broke apart from the passion fruit paste inside. Taste-wise, the balance of dark chocolate + passion fruit left it a non-greasy feeling after finishing. Again there was also a slightly crunchy chocolate base to add a bit of texture.

This Calamansi & Coconut Cake was also exclusive. Colour-wise, it was really so sharp! It was so refreshing because it was so rich in Calamansi, which was a hybrid of lime and orange. Comparatively, the flavour of coconut was much weaker. It was quite funny that there was a layer of yellow sponge cake surrounding the bottom of the cake.

This Mixed berry & Violet Cake was also exclusive. It was so pretty and I am sure many girls would love this red cake with a glittering coating. It tasted really good, super rich in berry. The mousse was very smooth. I wish there could have been more textures to make it slightly more complicated.

Overall, the quality of the cakes was pretty high and I was impressed by the lack of service charge despite eating-in so I shouldn't complain about the service. There was also basically no "environment" to talk about because it was basically just public as everybody passing by can see what you are eating. Yet the view of the shopping mall was nice. Would still come back from time to time, especially when I need somewhere to eat-in.

之前曾經到過不同國家品賞傳統英式下午茶, 心態是當作一項旅遊活動. 但在香港還是首次, 感覺興奮, 而且將我的香港第一次獻給口碑甚佳的Le Salon De Thé de Joël Robuchon. 到來之前已經做足功課, 知道這裡的下午茶不設訂座. 而這裡在周末非常旺場, 我們一行人在2:30pm已經到達排隊. 我們總共是8人, 非常擔心在不能訂座的情況下是否能安排到座位. 店員知道我們的情況, 亦都細心解釋因地方所限, 提議可否分拆2張檯坐, 但我們當然是不大願意. 最後店員仍能在3pm為我們安排了8人的座位, 值得一讚!大家安坐之後, 立即order了 3個二人份量的tea sets, 另再散叫Cake. 大家安坐之後, 立即order了 3個二人份量的tea sets, 另再散叫Cake. Tea Sets的Cake跟散叫的是不一樣. 如果可以, 真想每款點一件!

Sandwiches 和Scones先上. Sandwiches果真是finger size. 十分迷你, 但味道甚佳, 每一件都配搭得宜. 我自己就最因賞Lobster sandwich flavoured with tarragon 和Norwegian smoked salmon and caviar sandwich. 看上去已經像一件藝術品!

而Scones的size亦都相當精緻, 不過略嫌不夠熱. Scones配上2種醬, 各有味道. 尤其是那strawberries jam, 拍得住文華東方的玫瑰jam.

再來就是Cakes. 每件Cakes比之前的Sandwiches更像藝術品. 其中Macaroon, size比平日見到的小, 但不像一般的過甜, 只是size太少, 吃不到裡面的鬆軟.

因為每件cake的size也太的骰, 肚裡的感覺太空虛(實在太適合怕肥的OL), 再額外order的Earl Grey Tea cake 和忘記了名字的夾餅. Earl Grey Tea Cake味道清新, 內裡軟滑, 感覺是很滿足.

而餐飲方面, 我是Black Tea迷, 當然是少不了2壺分別是Afternoon tea和Darjeeling Tea, 壺是十分特別, 像可以放在爐上燒似的. 拿上手是相當重. 而茶是OK. 而同行朋友order了coffee. 不過經驗告訴我, Black Tea是英式下午茶的最佳選擇, Coffee 本身十分香濃, 干擾了Cakes本身的味道.

是日有幸品嘗過那麼多藝術品, 已經甚滿足. 奈何同行的人告訴我, 為何沒有三層架......? 三層架的魔力足以擾亂Cakes本身的吸引力嗎?

當然還要點茶和咖啡。近來不知怎的，愛上喝咖啡的西打早就想好了要喝latte。猛然，西打提路人甲一定要喝茶...因為...好想拍那個茶壼！
說實話，對茶沒有很研究的西打有幾款茶是不認識的。起碼，Early Grey和Lady Grey就清楚味道上有甚麼分別。很特別的第一款茶是大排檔茶和奶，很適合在地的外國人士！
最後..西打點了 Darjeeling Tea，就是大吉嶺茶囉！
先送上來的是西打的latte，滿香濃的。Latte art也恰到好處，不會玩味太重，一個小心，很優雅。咖啡的味道很溫醇，西打喝咖啡都不愛加糖，愛嚐到當中的甘苦味。如果要挑掦的話，西打覺得可以再加多一點點奶，讓整杯加啡的厚度更明顯。
可能開店很舊了，茶壼有一點點舊，不過真的瑕不掩瑜，簡單的設計真的很讓人迷倒。跟V達人說一樣，對女生來說，真的有一點點重。
隨後就送了Scone上來
當然還有果醬和clotted cream。果醬是home made strawberry jam。
後面是clotted cream
scone比一般酒店吃慣的size要小一點點。

Raisin Scone兩款scone送上來的時候，西打有嚇了一跳。四個scone都是熱騰騰的，就像是剛烤好一樣。原味scone非常鬆軟，中間的牛奶和麵粉味道，非常濃郁。路人甲最愛的raisin scone表現也很出色！最讚是那顆raisin，用了上等貨色，非常大顆，而且是那種帶著籽的raisin！
不能不提那個strawberry jam，好吃程度比文華東方的玫瑰果醬有果之而無不及。單是肉眼都看到有不盡的strawberry，入口果味清新，甜度控制得剛剛好，用來配搭scone，甚或是單吃，都是完美！
慢慢的享受完四個scone後，服務人員便先收起木盤子，然後再送上六款甜點。雖然沒有架子，但這種一道一道送上來，更有被重視的感覺。
Paris-Brest
兩層像Puff一樣的酥皮夾著巧克力醬，讓西打想起eclair這款甜點。在上層的酥皮還加了一點金泊作點綴，果然，米芝蓮重視的不止味道，也要用眼睛來品嚐食物。吃的時候西打怕太膩只分了一點點，外層的酥皮香酥軟滑，中間的巧克醬是介乎milk chocolate 和dark chocolate中間，香濃中不帶甘苦。最精彩是咬著咬著，竟然發現有hazelnut藏在中間，脆脆的增添了口感。
Blueberry Cheese Cake
西打應該最不感興趣的一件蛋糕。一貫都怕膩怕酸，路人甲也覺得這種cheese cake會超級膩。
西打只吃了一小片，竟然是出乎意料的清爽。Blueberry也沒有想像中的酸，很舒服的一件蛋糕。

Macaroon ganache
六款中最讓西打愛不釋手的一件。自從在洲際酒店吃過讓西打驚艷的macaroon後，便一直念念不忘那種被稱為「少女酥胸」的感覺。現在還常四出找好吃的macaroon！
三個縮小了的macarron井然有序的放在ganache之上，彷佛這已經是一件藝術品。西打很不忍心把它吃進肚。
這件Macaroon Ganache還會不停轉換macaroon的款式，西打想來想去也不肯定這三個是不是開心果味道...
這個macaroon外皮也有著像糖衣一樣的硬脆感，咬開中間，便是讓人幸福的甜香，最讚是甜膩之中不會太過份。還有底下的巧克力ganache...實在找不到可以挑掦的地方。
Exotique
看名字完全不知道讓是甚麼味道。路人甲先把旁便印著店名的小片巧克力拆下來慢慢品嚐，然後就是不停的讚美這片巧克好好吃！
大家細看，是很有心思的一道甜點。五款不同的水果，五款都帶著酸味卻又是不同的酸度....又複雜又特別的甜點。

Mont-Blanc
看上去路人甲最不感興趣的一片....就像簡單的粟子蛋糕。她當然送了給西打吃，哇..入口是真的尖叫耶！
不是簡單的粟子蛋糕耶，粟子底下還鋪滿了奶油，再底下是帶著清新果香和酸味的passion fruit果醬。粟子的濃稠，奶油的滑和passion fruit酸，三著混著一起，誰也蓋掩不了誰的光芒。
Petits Fours
那一片是沾滿了糖霜的lemon cake，不會有過濃的lemon味道，糖霜甜甜的，路人甲不住叫好吃！
那小顆的果仁巧克力是巧克力裹著almond，路人甲吃一口就不想再吃，是因為...還藏了一點點橙皮，她最怕橙..haha！西打倒覺得巧克力混著橘子的果香，很不錯。
旁邊是兩顆超甜的jelly candy！像點綴卻又好好吃！
店裏還有賣很多不同的鹹甜點。迷上macaroon的西打本來要單點幾個來過一下癮，看到價錢才HK$8一個，雖然size只有五元硬幣的大小，但還是覺得很超值。豈料...點菜時發現...沽清了....唉...只怪自己不早點下手...唉...又要等下一次了
總計：HK$238 + 10% /2人
這次下午茶是近來最滿意的一次，既可以只主攻甜點，而且每道甜點都像藝術品樣讓人還沒吃，眼睛已經先品嚐了一遍！
很奇怪的是，tea set裏的甜點，不論是在櫃檯還是餐牌都沒有單售，真的是只能點套餐才品嚐到。當然其他的甜點賣相也是十分吸引西打的！大概售價是HK$34/pcs，好像比台灣便宜一點！
好想好想吃到此店的macaroon....西打就快瘋啦！

    Had their tea set for 2 the other day which consisted of 4 finger sandwiches, 4 scones, and 6 cakes! Might be a bit too much cake for 2 people (am personally more of a savoury person than sweet) but for 3 people this set is perfect. *Notice how there are 3 salmon flowers & 3 macarons on one of the cakes!     So we were first served lobster, tuna, turkey & salmon finger sandwiches. As you may see from the photos, all of them were beautifully presented. Tastewise they were probably about as good as finger sandwiches can get. The scones (raisin & plain) arrived soon after with some nice strawberry jam & clotted cream.
    Next came the CAKES which looked just as impressive (if not more) than the sandwiches. The chocolatey cakes were well-balanced by the fruity ones which made the overall "cake experience" not too rich & heavy.
    A week later I came back for the same tea set and noticed that everything remained the same except the passionfruit flavoured macarons were replaced by chocolate ones
