話晒都係西營盤嘅街坊,但係我都真係未試過呢間舖頭,呢間舖頭都應該喺度好耐㗎啦!間鋪其實好四五張圓枱,加埋個廚房舖頭一眼見晒!我哋可以食傳統屋企整嘅餸菜,好似蒸魚,剁肉餅,仲可以炒蝦炒蟹!呢度炒出嚟啲嘢夠晒鑊氣,好似炒咗個蒜蓉唐生菜,非常之香!咁我哋人少少,就嗌個傳統嘅蒸肉餅啦,蒸得好好食。我記得好似有少少鹹魚喺上面!另外再點返個煲,沙嗲肥牛粉絲煲,沙嗲煲送個白飯,嘩!真係一流。仲有好多嘢都未試,下次搵多啲人!

The fried dishes here had enough 鑊氣 heat in the wok. The fried watercress with beef was nicely flavored, not too salty. The amount of beef was also generous.The sweet and sour pork was crispy and not dry inside. The taste of the sauce was just right. Also tried their steamed pork ribs which had a taste of home. Tender meat, real pork ribs with bones, and big portion.Overall there was very little MSG in the dishes. Fair prices. Staff were very friendly. Seemed to be a home run restaurant too.

石糖咀這家大排檔,細細個食到大,估唔到到今時今日,都仲可以用街坊價黎食小菜。當晚點了不少小菜,這兒有很多我也十分推介,不過海鮮因為是時價,所以也會比較貴,我也比較少叫。不過小菜方面,光記可以算是十分出色,而且份量適中,一家人,炒幾個小菜,就一餐了。沙爹金菇肥牛煲,一上枱感覺不欺場。份量十足,而且肥牛也十分多。加上香口惹味的沙爹汁,令人想加多碗飯啊!豆豉鯪魚炒油麥菜,這個炒得很乾身,而且爆香了的豆豉鯪魚是整個菜的靈魂,一定要趁熱食!最後這個是美國桶蠔煲,薑荵充滿著整個煲,放心,沒有蠔的腥味。而且蠔的份量有5,6隻, 什有鮮味, 而且也有無名指的大小,這個價錢是3個小菜中較貴的,不過我覺得也十分值!

光記,是我在薄扶林寄宿年代的飯堂,那時幾乎每日都來吃晩飯或者宵夜。它的小炒做得很出色,例如椒鹽雞翼、椒鹽豆腐、炒蜆等,都是我和宿友的集體回憶。上一次來已是數年前,可幸它仍在。這晚叫了幾個菜,有些是我的必點菜色,有些則是第一次來的友人所選的。蠔仔粥:仍像從前一樣連小煲上,很有風味。蠔仔又多又大粒,粥裡還有肉碎和冬菜提味,味道好之餘,最重要是依然是我喜歡和吃慣的味道。椒鹽豆腐:我的必點菜色,在我心目中是這裡的名菜。豆腐炸得外脆不油膩而內嫰且滑,還有一小碗淡蔥鹽水給點來吃。從前的炸豆腐是方形粗粒,現在雖然變成三角塊,但無損其美味,第一次來的友人也豎起姆指稱讚。白菜炒雞柳:我常點的菜色,可惜今晚並沒有我吃慣的白菜仔,雞柳炒得很嫰滑,只是味道鹹了一點,而且少些油會更好。魚頭煲:我不吃魚頭的,這個餸是友人的選擇,我覺得很香,不過友人説魚頭的鮮味不夠。油泡田雞煲:很久沒有在光記吃田雞了,這道煲仔菜上桌時香噴噴的,令人滿有期待,而事實上,每件田雞都掛著汁,味道很好,烹調的火喉亦剛好,令田雞腿的肉質保持嫰滑但又彈牙,吃得出是新鮮貨,連金針、雲耳、洋蔥和草菇等配料也十分惹味,這個煲仔菜算是驚喜。雲耳絲瓜炒

椒鹽豆腐:我的必點菜色,在我心目中是這裡的名菜。豆腐炸得外脆不油膩而內嫰且滑,還有一小碗淡蔥鹽水給點來吃。從前的炸豆腐是方形粗粒,現在雖然變成三角塊,但無損其美味,第一次來的友人也豎起姆指稱讚。

油泡田雞煲:很久沒有在光記吃田雞了,這道煲仔菜上桌時香噴噴的,令人滿有期待,而事實上,每件田雞都掛著汁,味道很好,烹調的火喉亦剛好,令田雞腿的肉質保持嫰滑但又彈牙,吃得出是新鮮貨,連金針、雲耳、洋蔥和草菇等配料也十分惹味,這個煲仔菜算是驚喜。

雲耳絲瓜炒肉片:這個菜其實頗好吃,材料既足又大件,絲瓜鮮甜多汁,肉片又滑,我只嫌它油稍多,早知點上湯浸的,應該會較合我口味。

來這兒吃飯有大排檔風味,但算潔淨,更重要是它的人情味。每當我隔數年來一次時都看見美豔如昔、駐顏有術的老闆娘,便份外感到親切,而且她總會說仍認得我,逗得我不知多高興呢!

遊車河到西環,過左9點肚餓,就用Open Rice 的附近餐廳功能搵食,結果比光記「選」了我們。三間鋪都坐滿,幸好還有一張枱available, 所以 wait time = 0. Ordered 了三餸,最抵鍚係叫小油炒真係有做到。叫餐時服務一流,我們三樣餸分開三個時間來叫,waitress很有記性地followed up, 唔駛我地過隔離舖落單。不過餸到後,我們也被忽視了...Anyway, overall rating = good job. 食物很有街方風味,唔貴 --- 3 dishes, 2 bowls of rice, soft drinks, 埋單多謝$159. 生炒骨:  被推介的菜式有誠意,酸甜汁剛剛好,肉大塊又林又唔肥,份量亦算大碟,欣賞肉塊唔油同埋無比麵粉搶鏡。蠔餅:  剛剛食完陵發,所以呢度嘅蠔餅只算OK. 蛋多過蠔,蠔仔好細粒,不過都有D口感。用煎的方式而不是油炸,都算健康。四大塊我們二人都食唔晒!蒜蓉炒油麥菜: 原本想用沙嗲汁炒,但waitress 話沙嗲炒芥蘭「襯 」D喎。但不想吃芥蘭,所以改用蒜蓉炒,真後悔... 因為驚喜欠奉!下次會再去試沙嗲炒河!

今個星期真的有點很唔開心, 想起在菲律賓的事件 ~ 那失去了大部份親人的小女孩, 在未俾通知真相下還希望找尋兩親. 也有一位死了三個最親的人還尚有個生死未仆的兒子的太太, 同埋枉死在亂槍掃射下的受害者. 本來想寫些食評來忘記這些不幸的事, 但倒頭來心平未平服, 無能為力. 所以也不想寫太多, 大家看看 Photo Caption 算了. 唔好話寫, 就連食飯都無心機. 這間暫時在乎 3 to 4 分之間, 很難決策. 先俾住個 3, 下次再試後先調整.
