We went to ABC Kitchen because of its high rating on OpenRice, so we made a reservation few days upfront to ensure we got seats.

At the restaurant, we ordered lobster soup, roast suckling pig, rib eyes steak, and crème brûlée.

The lobster soup looks nice but it doesn’t have much taste. It is served with garlic bread and butter. I honestly think that the bread is better than the soup.

Overall, the food isn’t too bad, but it is definitely overpriced especially you’re having the meal at a cooked food center in a market. The waiters are nice, but hygiene is something that you need to concern about as I saw cockroaches walking around.

好creamy, 好香, 有煙肉既少少咸香, 好正!
🍴香草意大利飯
感覺比較普通, 但香草味濃, 口感都唔錯!
🍴煙三文魚賓尼迪
每次都會 order, 味道少少酸, 半熟蛋既蛋黃好香, 份量唔多, 但都係必食!

Finally got a chance to try this famous “fine dining” restaurant in sheung wan local wet market!I love the casual vibe there a lot, is quite interesting to have proper western dinner at “dai pai dong” environment. Finally got a chance to try this famous “fine dining” restaurant in sheung wan local wet market!

I love the casual vibe there a lot, is quite interesting to have proper western dinner at “dai pai dong” environment.
And actually most of the customers are westerners, it made us believe the food should be really authentic.
Turns out, food was really not bad with affordable price!
I was quite impressed with their pigeon pithivier, $268 only, and it was beautifully made, the pigeon was flavourful and succulent. Although I still like the one I tried from Le bistro winebeast more, I have no complains given the price tag here
The beef cheek was delicious as well..
Ordered foie gras tart as starter, interesting ..
both pavlova and soufflé were worth trying..

Overall, I think everything was pretty good, free corkage, great for fds gathering and celebration, and all the staffs were very friendly, I actually enjoyed this meal a lot even the environment wasn’t fancy.
