To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 平心而論, 很一般的品質, 點心非常非常普通, ($55-75), not value for money at all, 失望的期待, 冠着米星的食肆 但沒有驚喜的食品, 茶品也與一般酒樓相近, 可能此店的強項是小炒, 套餐或鮑, 参, 翅, 肚, 不然可免. 環境清靜因地方不大, 服務不錯與一般酒店無異, 只是食物質素有待改善. continue reading

一家四口夜晚去食生日飯,全埸食咗一個鐘都係得我哋一家人,心諗可能真係中伏。嘢食嚟到由頭至尾全部都冇一份好食,食物味道好鹹,鮑魚同鵝掌都炆得好鹹,嗰碗翅味道都係偏鹹,方魚炒芥蘭啲方魚燶咗,所以好苦,炸花膠完全唔知自己食緊乜,個炒飯又鹹又乾,真係求其一間茶餐廳都整得好食過佢。我哋加咗個壽包,但係啲壽包好硬仲衰過即食點心,所以真係明白點解成個鐘頭都冇人,其實我真係覺得佢哋嘅煮法係浪費晒啲食材,一定唔會有下次。 continue reading

今早在中央圖書館看完展覽,順道去了銅鑼灣如心酒店一家酒樓午膳。今午由先生發辦,他選了午市自選套餐另送例湯~白菜魚翅頭及甜品。阿翁炸子雞半隻~肉質鮮嫩,外脆內嫩,有嚼勁。話梅炆豬手~切成一舊舊,易入口,味道酸酸甜甜,既醒胃又可去除油膩感。燒汁鮮菌炒牛肉~雜菌鮮嫩,牛肉香口,這道菜惹味又爽口。蒜蓉煎豬扒~肉質鬆軟多汁,味道清香,有嚼勁。最後送上甜品,甜品有三款選擇:生磨合桃奶露、陳皮紅豆沙及蛋白杏仁茶,我選了前者,很綿滑,而先生點了蛋白杏仁茶 continue reading
