另一個勁呃Like既就係呢個西瓜cocktail

除左勁甜同冰涼既西瓜肉之後

入面仲落左vodka同少少檸檬汁

不過因為西瓜勁甜,所以酒味唔算重

夏天飲呢個cocktail真係十分之適合

Overall呢到既食物質素比caljente失色

但服務係好既,因為事前我已經打左電話落黎order個甜品

到餐廳果時,我就趁朋友去洗手間諗住提一提個侍應

之後佢已經好醒目話知道ga la

而一直食飯佢都有留意住我地,睇下幾時要serve個甜品

雖然食物唔算好出色,不過我都好推介大家去呢到食生日飯

今天與朋友來到尖沙咀酒吧區,不是喝啤酒,而是吃飽肚子。望見餐牌的食物非常吸引,點上幾款試試。新奧爾良烤雞薄餅。薄薄的批底,香脆香口,烘得薄薄脆口不厚粉,入口脆卜卜頗是滋味。新奧爾良的味道帶點辛辣,味道酸辣帶點甜味,烤雞嫩滿,芝士份量也不少。龍蝦扁意粉。香甜蕃蓉醬,醬汁濃郁,意粉彈牙掛上濃濃醬汁,甜鮮味頗是香濃。龍蝦肉不太多,入口尚算鮮,但口感不太爽口。勝在味道夠濃夠香口,也是不錯。烤蝦濃汁芝士薯條。滿滿芝士醬,味道濃郁咸香豐富,芝士與薯條是最佳組合,愈吃愈是滋味。蝦肉煎得爽嫩爽口,入口鮮甜味道香口。

龍蝦意大利飯 ($188)

還樣子的,個人覺得一定要吃點澱粉質才行。我們一致選擇了這道龍蝦意大利飯,見到賣相果然不負所望。大大隻龍蝦放在意大利飯之上喔,但其實…這是龍蝦殼而已,龍蝦肉都拆出來放在飯之中,龍蝦肉爽口鮮味,令人回味。至於意大利飯呢,該是有龍蝦的蝦膏吧,味道很鮮甜,而且每一口均充滿著龍蝦獨有的鮮甜味道,整個飯都很棒的。以一個下午茶而言,這個飯有點過份,但又令我們十分滿足。

其實….這杯飲料的名字..我也不知道啦..只知道很長。但我為了吃這支雪條,就管不了啦。雪條中加入了薑及芒果奶昔。這個配搭有夠要命的,因為這個配搭是蠻極端的,要不就很喜歡,要不就極不喜歡。薑始終是一種比較特別的食物,並不是人人都喜歡,但會吃的都會喜歡薑的人。對我這個喜歡吃薑的人來說,這支芒果薑雪條對我來說是蠻深印象的,甜甜的芒果奶昔中,包含了帶點刺激而又有點辣的薑味,兩者加在一起之後取得平衝。加上杯中有Vodka,也有Rum,細細的一杯,飲落甜甜的,但不一會兒,臉都紅起來了,店員說這杯雖少,但酒精成分卻蠻高的。

Other Info. : 尖沙咀諾士佛臺被喻為酒吧之地,沒想過好友今次會選擇這邊作為下午茶聚餐的地方,也沒想過這邊下午三時多的時候,會如此清靜,靜得你會漸漸喜歡上這裡的一事一物。 一頓下午茶,豐富如晚餐,小食、主菜,再加一杯酒,幾個女人仔摸住酒杯底邊喝邊吃邊聊天,把心中所有說話盡訴,不就是最好的生活享受嗎?要是再有時間,很想跟你們再多聚幾遍喔~!!

雖然最近一直和老婆仔吃好東西每餐都說是提早慶祝聖誕節但平安夜這個歡樂的節日還是要和很有要求的老婆仔吃好一點選擇了在尖沙咀諾士佛臺吃晚飯每一間餐廳也佈置得很有聖誕氣氛不知怎麼選擇最後還是決定吃這間餐廳坐在門口位置既可感受室內聖誕佈置又可享受街頭氣氛我們點了108元的Classic Mac & Cheese以及188元的Lobster Risotto再加了108元的Pulled Pork Poutine甜品方面要了78元的Bailey & Coffee Cheesecake來到酒吧區我們決定點些酒選了42元的ciderClassic Mac & Cheese原來是三小碟芝士通心粉很濃的芝士配合小粒通心粉很美味頂層還有一片脆片應該也是芝士來的更把芝味提高Lobster Risotto份量不多感覺有點貴不過意大利飯確實很不錯質感剛剛好不會製作得太濕而龍蝦也很貼身的起了大部分肉可以輕易吃到龍蝦肉我很欣賞這個Pulled Pork Poutine首先薯條和芝士已經很配合薯條也很香最特別的是手撕豬肉燒得很香像是街邊串燒的那種香卻沒有那種熱氣的感覺我不小心忍不住吃了不少這杯cider是Kopparbe

自己不太飲酒,這個屬於House wine red,淺嘗過後覺得還可容易入口,你都不會太苦澀,這個價錢質素好像比King Ludwig還好。

Kopparberg $42
這個是Strawberry and lime cidar,對於不太飲酒的我,味道剛剛好。但要留意,這個有4.5%嘅酒精成份。味道帶有士多啤梨的清香,果香味重,幾乎完全感覺不到酒精的存在。

要讚的是,醬汁味道的控制非常好,不會過鹹,又能刺激味蕾,整個醬汁沾滿在每一條薯條上,又不會水汪汪,實在難得。

唯一批評的,用Mcdonald幼薯條似乎有點欠誠意。

這個薄餅是薄批,但並不是紙一樣的脆底。儘管不是厚批的口感,仍可以做到香脆厚實,實屬不錯。薄薄的批底,配合着豐富的醬汁和材料,每一口都感覺很滿足。

要讚的是,想不到薄餅上的雞肉竟然經焗的過程後仍保留着豐富的肉汁。配上辣的印度醬汁,十分滋味。

唯一要批評是,這個薄餅有點過鹹,廚師要留意哦!

重點來了。一般酒吧的食物也不會做得太出色,而且這些甜品一般也只是噱頭而已。可是,這間酒吧實在令我太驚喜了!

由於剛才燃燒過甜品的表面,外面又亂又趣,一切開,雪糕球向外緩緩流出。雪糕加脆脆的麵粉皮,一冷一熱,感覺比吃心太軟還要特別。不得不讚的是,雲呢拿雪糕並不是太甜,外面的紅桑子醬,跟雲呢拿雪糕,白蘭地,混和來吃是天作之合,大家有機會不妨一試!

不但非常方便,免卻分飯環節,而且present出來的方式亦很美,一人拿著一「杯」就能吃了,感覺很好。
而Risotto方面松露味重,每啖食落都有蘑菇口感,黏黏的正是筆者最愛的質感,太棒了!

另外我們亦要了Chicken Lollipops $90,一碟有五件。沒有炸得油光滿滿,食落則啖啖肉,加上不會很熱氣的感覺,所以女朋友們都不怕的一吃再吃,很受歡迎。

But something has happened over the past year. Knutsford Terrace has been doing a bit of revamping lately. Most of the usual restaurants and bars I knew or have visited have closed. Instead newer places have opened up or will open soon. Much as Food Street on Fashion Walk did, Knutsford Terrace suddenly feels fresh again.

I met three other blogger friends who wanted to try out one such new place. As I heard it was in Knutsford Terrace, I was a bit wary on quality as this area never had fond foodie memories for me. But I was pleasantly surprised.

Assembly is a new gastrobar that opened up recently. It has a bar like setting, serving a wide variety of drinks and a varied bar like food for quick nibbles to late night dessert fetishes to a whole meal deal. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. Menu is in English and Chinese and is basically the table place mat and is separted into land (meat), earth (veggies), sea (seafood) and heaven (dessert). Though their drinks menu is in a separate book.

They had something awesome that I really wanted to try but as I have low alcohol tolerance  (my story of passing out after a pina coloda on the MTR and stopping the whole MTR to stop for me is something that friends remind me to not drink without boyfriend present). But looked great. A boozy popsicle. You can even have it as a cocktail where they put a mini one on top and you dunk it into your drink like dunking Oreo cookies in milk. This is fantastic and looked really good. I told boyfriend later and he agreed. It looked good and next time I'm with him, we'll  give it a try.

Happy Summer ($58). As I wasn't with boyfriend, I had a nonalcoholic cocktail. Usually when I order on a mocktail at places, it's usually mediocre. But this was really good. This was a mixed berry drink that was packed with so many berries, it kept sucking up into my straw and blocking it. That's how packed with berries it was. There was a half globe of ice that not only did it make the presentation look nice, it was useful as it slowly melted away as to keep the drink cold yet not water it down as well. I found out that this place was owned by the Prive Group. A place I'm quite familiar with during my Lan Kwai Fong clubbing days and I knew their drinks were always spot on.

Rucola Salad ($98). Salad was rocket lettuce layered with strawberries, fresh figs, parma ham and parmesan cheese. Ingredients were fresh and the mixture of salty with sweet was a combination that I love a lot. I loved that the figs were cut into quarters so you get a huge chunk of fig in every bite. The salad was lightly dressed with a balsamic vinegar dressing that was just the right amount without being drowned in it but yet dressed enough so everything was coated evenly. This is a rarity in Hong Kong for salads as most places don't bother to do the simple thing of TOSSING their salad before serving it so all you get is either drowned out greens or bland greens so you feel like you're eating grass. Great for me as I love salad so this place makes great salad. Something I can tell my girlfriends about.

Cold Cut Platter ($138). The cold cut platter included Parma ham, spicy salami, Mordatella, cooked ham, red pepper with cheese, dried prunes, dried apricots and almonds. Layed out beautifully, it's a decent thing to share over drinks. The bread was fantastic. I loved it the most. Chewy consistency with a tearable crust. I love my bread like this. The peppers with cheese was an interesting combination and something I had not thought of before and will definitely try making for my next dinner party for friends when I do my own cold cut platter.

Lobster Bites ($128). I highly recommend this. This made my night complete. I love lobster and I love lobster rolls. Currently, in my crazy cooking adventures, I've been obsessively making these at home, trying to find the perfect recipe for a kick ass lobster roll. These were pretty good. Size was a nice portion in that it wasn't too big that I couldn't fit the whole thing in my mouth but not too small that there wasn't anything to eat. There was lobster in every bite. There was kick of paprika so it didn't just taste like mayo and lobster. Lettuce and tomatoes were added for freshness. The roll was also coated with butter and toasted to keep it all crispy and not soggy from the sauce. It was displayed with half shell of the lobster head. Greedy foodie me looked inside and it was empty. Purely for show.

Tagliatelle With Mussels ($138).  This was a bit disappointing. I love tagliatelle but it's best used for meat/tomato based sauces. Lumpy sauces that so the pasta can soak it all up. Not creamy sauces such as this. As a result it was one clumpy lump. The mussels tasted fresh enough and the sauce was creamy and tasty but just the wrong pasta was used.

Cajun Chicken Pizza ($128). This was an 8 inch pizza. As far as pizza goes, this was pretty decent. There was a nice kick of heat from the cajun spices. The chicken meat was moist. There was enough cheese to make me pizza girl happy. I like the thin crust pizza as it was so thin, it was crispy like a cracker. Pretty decent.

The big ball of ice cream was, quite frankly, way too sweet. The dough coating was way too thick. It didn't taste that good and it was way too big and sweet to eat on. Though this is a great sharing dessert. I would probably order this again if I was with a group of friends who are like me and just go for crazy desserts just for the heck of it. Because hey ... it made me smile in utter childlike joy.

Chocolate Pudding ($88). This was ... Oh.My.God. First things first ... I'm not a big chocolate lover. Chocolate is not something I put on the top of my list when I look down to order something but I'll eat it anyways if it comes around. So for me to say this is an amazing chocolate dessert is saying a lot. The lava cake just oozed out with all it's glory. It wasn't too sweet and not too bitter. It was complemented nicely with the berries and vanilla ice cream so it was all balanced well.

Overall, service was friendly. Plates were cleared without asking. Food was pretty decent (especially the lobster bites, the pizza and the chocolate pudding). Place does get noisy but that is very typical of many bar like eateries but not so loud one needed to shout while talking. Drink were spot on. A pretty decent option for evening drinks and quick bites as portion size is a bit small or I'd even recommend it to my guy friends who want to impress a girl for a casual dinner date without breaking the bank. I would return again.

I love a good cocktail so I had to try their new Drunken Boozesicles series where they teamed up with Nice Pops to create cocktails with alcoholic popsicles! The Crimson Sweet ($130) with Gin watermelon liquer, fresh citrus juice, homemade rosemary syrup and watermelon martini pop was very lovely to drink with a sweet fruity flavor.

The Tempura Tiger Shrimp ($98) with tangy tartar sauce was easy to eat by grabbing its tail but while the shrimp tasted delicious, I found the tempura batter to be a bit thick and not crispy enough.

The 8" Cajun Chicken Pizza ($128) with spicy romesco sauce, cherry tomato and cilantro arrived sizzling hot and it was a solid pizza with melting cheese and spicy sauces. The crust was the hard and crunchy kind so it was more like a pita bread than a New York style.

When it came to dessert time, we all looked at each other and decided through non-verbal cues that we were definitely going to get desserts even though we were full! The Cryo-Fried Vanilla Ice Cream ($95) with flaming brandy and raspberry saucet turned out to be quite a show as the brandy was poured over the ice cream and lit up in front of us. I'm not sure if it was because we took a long time to eat it but the exterior wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be but that ice cream was sure huge enough to be shared among friends!

The Chocolate Pudding ($88) with vanilla ice cream was my favorite out of the two desserts with a melting chocolate interior which was rich and warming. A great way to end the meal!

這個薄餅雖然是素, 但好惹味, 因為加入了辣椒, 即使只加入磨菇, 蕃茄等的材料也好好味. 餅底算脆, 所以口感也不算.

番茄和水牛芝士(Mozzarella)配合得極出奇地好吃,芝士很圓,蕃茄很濕潤 ,水牛芝士低卡好味道,味道香濃滑溜,用來配搭番茄簡直是最佳拍檔。切開番茄,流出番茄汁,混著水牛芝士,太太A問:「BUNNY你是工作狂,拍拖又會是一個怎麼的人?」

我回應說「我呀,好簡單呀,鍾意佢咪依賴佢呀,無條件幫佢呀之類囉,一拍拖就好似一個廢人咁,喺男朋友面前零主見。」

其實我知道,根本無人有時間了解這樣的我,不如話,其實無同我拍過拖,根本唔可能見到呢個事實。

Linguine 龍蝦扁意粉味道超級惹味,龍蝦肉超級香甜,新鮮好吃!現煮的龍蝦,啖啖肉,意粉的不會太生硬,正是正宗的意大利做法!
加上調味利用了不少不同的香草感覺,令人稱心滿意,我一口接一口,完全停不了。

飲品挑了 Young and
Beautiful,一杯雪條飲料,香橙的雪條,感覺十分少女,非常吸引!!味道酸酸甜甜,入口清洌,充滿夏日風味。很值得點一杯呢。幸好這杯雞尾酒並沒有太多酒精成分,因為我從不渴酒,可是今年2015年,是我人生第一次喝酒的年份。 2015年7月更加是我人生中喝得最多酒的一個月份,原來人長大了,用酒精麻醉自己解決失眠狀況,竟然變得理所當然。

坦白說人生接近過了四份之一世紀,今天,2015年8月21日,才是我人生第一次到諾士佛臺,我知道過去自己熱愛工作,沉迷拍拖,躲在家裡的日子,令我完完全全忘了生活中生命中的那一塊。我沒有覺得過去的自己太悶或太不麋爛,我反而因為潔身自愛無行差踏錯,感到另類自豪。
