An izakaya highly recommended by the foodie circle run by a team of Japanese. Short menu that changes regularly serving seasonal ingredients. 12-13 seater. Excellent vibe. Advance booking is recommended.Chicken wing to start. The moment it was served I know that it was going to be good. A tiny izakaya that cares to prepare and present chicken wings in such intricate manner is a rarity. Exterior was crisp and the interior was juicy and succulent.Wagyu cutlet to follow. Tender with light breaded batter.Grilled spicy mentaiko. Never a fan due to its saltiness. But it was a great otsumami to go with sake/beer.Simmered winter melon. Sweet and perfect for the summer.Cold Inaniwa Udon. Another one perfect for killing off the heat.Cream cheese with wasabi and spring onions. Server recommended it to us. Cream cheese was light and silky smooth. Another delicious otsumami. Fried tofu with miso and spring onions. Tofu fried to golden perfection. Delicious.Fried lotus with wasabi flavoured mustard. The mustard was pungent. Definitely not for the faint hearted. Interesting texture and flavour combination though. Overall an izakaya that I will definitely revisit.

難以用筆墨來形容…沒有帶著甚麼期望來試試午餐;開門迎接的是一位日本姨姨….已經有驚喜坐下看餐牌,午餐$148/$188,我試了$148蟹肉套餐….很美味,日本米飯(見到有人可要求添飯),美味的幾款茶漬物,暖暖的日本葱湯,主角蟹肉更是意想不到的味道,令人一再回味!全店只有12個座位,也算寧靜,旁邊有些日本旅遊書(日文)可以參閱…一個午餐時間好像短短到了日本一遊🤪 有點誇張,但真心充了個電!值得再回顧的一所食肆喲!

都考慮咗好來,究竟報唔報出嚟。諗吓為咗大家嘅福祉,應該比大家一個心理準備。其實都好少日本人開嘅餐廳係俾人彈嘅,要講嘅一間中伏的日本飯堂。其實都好少聽聞日本餐都會咁,間餐廳唔係服務差,但係收費同佢嘅食物質素唔係好成比例。心諗有日本人主理會有信心。呢間小餐廳聽聞係附近搬過嚟唔係好耐,只不過係幾個月嘅時間。有一次行經常上址係啱啱開左冇幾耐,連電話都未有。只見到一間門口好日式嘅飯堂,但又唔算係居酒屋,很有一種住家的味道,即管過嚟試吓。場主有兩個日本人及一個懂講廣東話的夥計。其實個日本場主係非常之強力銷售,或者日本人鍾意飲酒係正常啩。坐低就係咁推薦。嗰種殷切到似乎很正常,但係情緒之間你會留意到佢好想推介佢嘅酒,200 元3款。我都唔係一個好酒之人。都點咗一個套餐,$600 左右,但唔知係咪因為壽司而家日本唔嚟得,嗰啲全部都係下欄嘢,廚師發辦嘅家常便菜,味道亦都唔係講到啲乜嘢新鮮,又唔係高級食材。又唔似廚師發辦壽司,但係中環有間專食廚師發辦嘅壽司井,係五百幾蚊13 種鮮魚,雖然唔啱比較,但係我想講嘅係呢間餐廳嘅價錢同呢個食物質素好唔成正比,非常失望。又唔可以話佢呃你,但係確實一廂情願。菜式都冇乜嘢好講,大家睇吓我食啲乜嘢自己評價。埋單成千蚊。呢個視屏俾OK係做緊應該鐘

ATARAYO 🏮.⭐️Favourites:🥢星鰻牛蒡雞蛋煮 Unagi burdock w/ eggs - absolutely loved this!!! The unagi was so tende, sweet and fresh! 🥢海鰻天婦羅 Unagi tempura - meaty but still incredibly soft and velvety, I had to go hard on the sauce though 🤣🥢刺身盛合 Sashimi platter - the tuna is as perfection! 🥢吞拿魚洋蔥可樂餅 Tuna onion croquette .📋Tips: Ken was very friendly and even treated us to a couple glasses of sake on the house! 第二次嚟到呢間小店,真係好想推介一下。性價比極高,店主和廚師都係日本人~佢哋非常殷勤熱情有禮~一邊吃一邊傾計💬小菜美味😋價錢親民、環境氣氛一流。恍如置身於日本一樣~~如果是素食者,提前在預約時作出要求,店家亦可為你準備,真係好貼心。。。
