難得早上來到食肆臨立的筲箕灣,當然要在這裡吃早餐。因為今天還要到各區吃不同的小食,所以早餐只想吃個簡簡單單的蒸包。黑芝麻包($5):芝麻餡香滑,濃濃的芝麻味,甜而不膩。又因為餡料與包身比例適中,餡料不過少也不過多,所以既有黑芝麻香味但又不會過膩。包身尚算軟熟,而且熱烘烘,很不錯呢!價錢不算特別便宜,但味道不錯,款式多,而且很多也頗健康,是買早餐的好地方。

話說早陣子突發性地很想吃銀絲卷,雖已在京滬店子裡吃過一回 (見食評《銀絲卷癮卷》),但質素未如理想,這次父親特地到包點先生買來兩條($7 @),看看會否比較像樣。食時先把它們蒸了一會,便急不及待拿出來要吃了。銀絲卷挺大個的,而且甚為重手,份量十足,比當日在京滬店吃的要對辦得多。切開了來看,可能因為切得不太好,以致中心的麵包條有點疊在一起的視覺,但用手撕一些出來時,就能見到內裡部份是能做到一絲絲的,不錯。銀絲卷的質素不俗,但美味的感覺其實主要是來自父親的那份心意。

切開了來看,可能因為切得不太好,以致中心的麵包條有點疊在一起的視覺,但用手撕一些出來時,就能見到內裡部份是能做到一絲絲的,不錯。


銀絲卷的質素不俗,但美味的感覺其實主要是來自父親的那份心意。

牛肉球向來是我所好,包點先生的出品則未試過。呵呵,試問它又怎能逃出我的為食嘴?很欣賞店子用料豐富,花了大量芫茜、馬蹄,務求令食物更香、更爽口。很可惜牛肉雪藏味太重,質地太散,完全破壞了整件事。如果蒙著眼睛試味,或許,我真的不知道它是甚麼。失敗失敗

很欣賞店子用料豐富,花了大量芫茜、馬蹄,務求令食物更香、更爽口。
很可惜牛肉雪藏味太重,質地太散,完全破壞了整件事。

After steaming it for 15 minutes as instructed, the bun looked fluffier but the whiteness looked shiny and artifical to me. And it did not resemble a peach at all - matter of fact i thought it looked more like an a*s than a peach without the pointed end!

Yet disappointingly the bun turned to be extremely dry and coarse and texture. It kinda rubbed my lips as it bit into it - arent buns supposed to be tender and soft? It was also so thin and dettached from the lotus seed paste, which was not smooth nor sweet. It was just vaguely runny but carried no taste at all. The egg yolk was pitifully dry like chalk powder, and carried only the tiniest hint of fat in it.

My conclusion after eating the bun is: you actually cant tell what's good without having to try what's worse or even worst. I have always though Lin Heung place's dim sum were awful but when you compare their buns with this, theirs has simply K.O. this within seconds. The difference is just so big that makes me realize how difference can the real 'good' and 'bad' food be.


Well-perhaps it's a better idea not to have this for a decent birthday celebration since im pretty sure it would just ruin the hype through the meal.

So a proper birthday cake would then be the option...

近期喜歡惠顧包點先生,因為各大連鎖店的麵包多數又貴又不好吃又不飽肚,一餐麵包的份量,可以在這裡買夠兩餐甚至三餐的中式包子,誰曰不宜?最喜歡真材實料素菜包$4.5,每次必買。其餘各款肉包勝在可見一條條肉絲,而非一團奇奇怪怪的免治肉,一星期吃幾次也不膩。十元點心可選粉果、山竹牛肉、燒賣和鮮肉餃,不俗。各位店員阿姐客客氣氣,唯獨門口賣點心的,轉數稍慢就難以心平氣和溝通。

因為來筲箕灣看醫生,所以經過此店時,買了一個蒸包作為早餐。素菜包($4.5):體積有一個半拳頭那麼大,厲害。 包夠熱,包身軟熟。餡料有紅蘿白、木耳、椰菜等,幾乎沒有油,感覺很健康和清新。 不過可能餡多,所以包身比例上好像少了一點。店鋪整潔,還可用八達通付款。蒸包種類多,另有馬拉糕和粉果等,有機會的話會再試。

現在天氣開始轉涼,

10月25號朝早大約十點鍾 , 本人相約友人去石澳BBQ 由於有朋友提議先係呢間鋪買個包充飢 , 岩岩食完早餐既我又口痕想試吓我就決定買一個南瓜包同埋一個紫心番薯包同朋友一人撕D試吓 先講南瓜包 ; 呢個南瓜包外形特別 , 佢用咗一粒提子乾做頂 , 加上淡橙色既包皮及坑紋外形同一個小南瓜無別 , 包內既南瓜蓉非常之飽滿 , 麵包皮亦都好薄 , 又唔算好甜真係值得一試 ! 至於個紫心番薯包 ; 我個人就覺得無南瓜包咁好 , 雖然外形都算特別淡紫色既麵包皮 , 外形成長形番薯 , 賣相唔夠南瓜包討好 , 但包內既餡係紫心番薯蓉食落都唔錯既 ! 整體黎講 , 包點先生既包都係非常之抵食 , 絕對值得一試 !

淡紫色既麵包皮 , 外形成長形番薯 , 賣相唔夠南瓜包討好 , 但包內既餡係紫心番薯蓉

食落都唔錯既 ! 整體黎講 , 包點先生既包都係非常之抵食 , 絕對值得一試 !

收工後想搵少少0野食下, 就去平時有經過的<包點先生>買個包食下先, 最後我就買0左個奶黃包. 1. 奶黃包 ($4) ~ 大大個都係$4真係好似好抵食喎. 點知食落口, 個包唔夠鬆軟, 仲有可能因為個包太大, d餡就顯得比較少, 比例唔夠好, 我寧願個包細d. 至於個餡真係唔得, 味道同質感都係麻麻地!!!整體評價:質素比分量重要得多!!!

1. 奶黃包 ($4) ~ 大大個都係$4真係好似好抵食喎. 點知食落口, 個包唔夠鬆軟, 仲有可能因為個包太大, d餡就顯得比較少, 比例唔夠好, 我寧願個包細d. 至於個餡真係唔得, 味道同質感都係麻麻地!!!

整體評價:質素比分量重要得多!!!

行過筲箕灣街市附近, 聽到好熱鬧的叫賣聲. 見到好多人圍左o係一間舖頭前面, 吸引到我埋去睇下.原來係一間專賣中式包點的舖頭, 我都係第一次見ja. 真係乜野包都有: 有甜有咸有大有細有普通有特別有平有冇咁平等等等...........最好笑係有大壽包賣呀, 當生日蛋糕都得!成間舖都塞滿哂人, 老人家都幾多下. 我最終買左一個黑芝麻流沙包食, 都係$4, 好大個呀. 芝麻味好香, 個包就趁熱食最好, 可惜我feel唔到流沙啦..... 下次再經過就試第二種包

之前見有人介紹過呢間嘢d飽幾得意今日咁啱去開嗰頭,為食嘅Monchhichi當然唔執輸買返個嚟試吓喇我前後買咗一袋七彩繽紛小饅頭,一個原粒瑤柱飽同兩支豆漿據聞d飽只要蒸7分鐘就可以回復鬆軟所以一返到屋企Monchhichi即刻蒸嚟食雖然個瑤柱飽要成$10一個,不過真係有成粒瑤柱係入面,好味!豆漿$6一支,都幾大支吓,唔太甜仲好重豆味添
