老友帶同女兒從蘇格蘭回港探親訪友。從小一起玩到大的幾家母女共8人相約飯聚,選定印度皇晚餐。印度菜小衆夠特別,加上之前我試過幾次,對這裏有一定信心。步入充滿異國風情的餐廳,感到稍顯隆重又略帶溫暖,立即好想吃上一頓風味大餐。四大四小人齊,我們嘀咕一陣,先叫定一個四人套餐A餐,包括:雜菜咖喱角、串燒鷄柳、瑪沙拉皇帝蝦、瑪沙拉羊肉、蒜蓉炒雜菜、薑葱烤餅、印度皇飯;再加上散點4樣:炸米餅配薄荷汁、牛油雞、香炸鮮雜菜、千層餅。這下從小食、肉類海鮮、到蔬菜、主食都有了,有不辣有辣,是各種不同程度和風格各異的辣,每道菜的香辛用料各具特色,味道濃烈層次豐富,時不時對味蕾充滿意想不到的衝擊 ......並非港人吃慣的港式餐廳之咖喱牛腩味道可比。雖然我們人多口味雑,但每人都能找到合口味的幾樣,還都吃飽了。餐廳除了一開始呈上小食,鹹味薄脆配紅綠甜辣醬,正餐之後又驚喜地贈送甜米布甸(糖水)。全程口水不斷,談笑間,杯碟刀叉交錯。值得一提,餐廳環境以紅色金色為主調,又配以明亮暖色的燈光,不僅為美食增色,也爲我們的歡聚合影添了彩。這是小確幸嗎,當然。
