炸得很脆而內在雞肉很嫩口,可惜味道不入味單靠外層的韓式辣醬來供味略嫌不夠。
而呢度的炸雞還有一共通點,就是很保温的,即使放耐左食極雞肉都是熱騰騰的!
最後必須大讚呢度的店員,真是很有禮貌而且很耐心的招呼客人

另外也嚐了花卷雙拼16件,有多款饀料選擇。由於遷就同伴不吃辣,只能點選蟹肉及醬牛兩款,幸好這兩款的味道也不錯。 花卷小巧的式,一口就能吃掉,蟹柳和牛肉跟飯的比例適中,不用沾太多醬汁已經很可口。
同伴很喜歡玫瑰花,二話不說已點了玫瑰咖啡。至於我就點了荔枝味梳打,解渴非常,個人認為配襯炸雞更能消暑解熱。當然論美感就不及拉了玫瑰花圖案的泡沫咖啡了。

最引人入勝的還要數甜品明洞咖啡棉花冰 。巨型棉花糖吸晴度十足,又是甜蜜蜜之選,多可愛!我們先慢慢KO蜜糖棉花糖,內藏的刨冰是另一驚喜點,只需倒入少量咖啡和煉奶已很甜,因為中央還有一球雲尼拿雪糕。

一拎上手,咦,隻手都唔多覺好油,咁睇嚟呢度嘅炸雞都算健康,唔係用咗好多油去炸,更加應該唔係用千年油啦XDD呢個炸雞嘅特別之處係外面加咗粟米片同蜜糖,口感同味道嘅層次都提升咗。未食已經聞到好香好甜嘅蜜糖味,勁吸引!外皮香脆,甜甜哋;雞肉好滑,一啲都唔「鞋」,配合得好好!;食食下,我見到原來除咗有粟米片,仲有我最鍾意嘅提子乾呀!超開心~

另外試嘅係「雙重芝士辣雞」($98)
呢個係用煎PAN上嘅,所以夠熱,芝士先可以停留係半溶狀,有拉芝效果。鍋內有一邊係芝士一邊係雞,同埋一啲配菜,例如薯仔、紅蘿蔔……食呢個,梗係唔可以唔拉芝。用雞肉蘸上芝士,再將佢拉起捲動,就營造出拉芝效果。真係睇見都興奮。然而,比較之下,我就鍾意第一款雞多啲,因為呢個太辣,同埋芝士有點膩(我唔多食得辣同唔係芝士迷 =P)。不過飯腳就鍾意夠辣,哈哈。

紫薯迷嘅我,見到呢個新出嘅甜品,又點會唔試丫?呢座雪出真係好大座,好彩我有飯腳一齊Share~紫薯係邊?就係冰山上面嗰啲紫色喇。原來嗰啲係紫薯味嘅粉末,真係未見過,今次真係大開眼界!XD雪山其實係刨冰,而除咗大家見到嘅雪糕球之外,周圍仲有啲藍莓。雪糕係雲呢拿味,同紫薯粉都幾夾,配埋藍莓一齊食都唔錯!

As the name says it all, the fried chicken has many varieties and when it comes to taste its actually pretty good. Comparable to the ones in Korea. Unfortunately their other dishes were not as good. 行過銅鑼灣見到呢間新開的韓式炸雞店, 就同老公入去試下了, 叫左個招牌炸雞, 炸雞一份有齊雞脾, 雞胸, 雞翼, 係上面加咗d酸酸甜甜辣辣的醬. 佢用個隻醬我個人覺得偏甜, 感覺上同炸雞唔係好夾. 雞件個皮炸得好脆, 可惜咬落去D雞肉無乜味.另外仲叫咗個蕃茄拉面. 蕃茄汁唔夠濃味, 面身較淋, 無乜口感, 只可以勉強給予一個合格.值得比"OK"原因為呢度服務好好, 尤其係外面做知客個位男侍應, 做野快手有禮貌, 介紹食物都好耐心, 值得一讚!(每枱只可食1.5小時, 如果一班人食就未必夠盡興了)

Since it's opening in Causeway Bay, there has always been a long queue. As I live near here, I noticed that the lines aren't long if you get there earlier. And that's exactly what we did as I wanted to try it.

Menu is in English, Korean and Chinese with plenty of photos. But what they basically serve is various different fried chicken, snacks, drinks and desserts.

Appetizers are offered: kimchi, pickled daikon and bean sprouts. These were ok though the daikon were oddly bland and not pickled. So, I'm wondering if these were not pickled after all or they just weren't pickled long enough?

Chicken Combo Set ($148). The interesting thing about this place is that you can order something called a chicken combo which includes three pieces of their regular golden olive oil chicken and five pieces of a sauce fried chicken of your choice for $148. Not a whole chicken so you can eat other items and still get to try two different chicken flavors at the same time. As this seemed good, we chose this and our sauce chicken was yuzu.

I liked the yuzu sauce on the chicken. It basically tasted like that yuzu syrup you buy from Korean stores to make yuzu drinks. That is exactly how it tasted like and I liked it. It was super sticky and sweet. The meat was also moist and tender.

The olive oil fried chicken I didn't like. Yes, the skin was crunchy and the meat was moist. But it also tasted like I was eating a mouthful of oil. It was just way too greasy tasting.

Mari Combo Set ($98). I love mari. For some reason, I can eat a lot of these. As we couldn't decide on what type of mari to order, we chose the combo set. This included 8 crab mari, 8 kimchi mari, 8 bulgogi mari and 8 fried shrimp. It came with a spicy dipping sauce (which I really didn't dip because I'm not much of a dipping sauce person) and Doritos. I don't know what the chips were for but oh well...love Doritos, so can't complain. The rice was moist and sticky. Favorite flavor was bulgogi. The fried shrimp was a bit soggy. I guess the Japanese do a better job of that one. Crab was actually imitation crab meat. Kimchi was not spicy at all. I found that a bit odd.

So, what you basicallly got was vanilla ice cream covered with coffee and condensed milk and crystallized sticky cotton candy to pick apart with. It was ok and definitely just an ooh fun moment. But it was way too sweet from the cotton candy and it was really just ok and not worth a repeat order.

We ordered a number of drinks but boyfriend ordered this. A ice purple potato coffee that cost $38. Drinks all came in this fat cup so they were fairly large in size. The purple potato made the coffee very thick and creamy. It had the texture of a smoothie. There wasn't much potato flavor but it wasn't too sweet.

I can see why this place is popular as it's location is quite good. It's on street level and definitely geared for the mainstream audience who want fried chicken and don't know how to go to the really niche places. I noticed they have lunch and afternoon tea sets that are reasonably priced so perhaps would return when I'm looking for something to eat and don't want to go to my usual places.
