After a hectic week of meetings and conventions, my colleague suggested that we should go and have a drink and food to relax and wind down. After work, he brought me to a bar at Haven Street, which was about 10 minutes walk from Causeway Bay MTR, into a small lane. Kakutama Umeshu - Since there is Umeshu available, thus i decided to order one as sake was too commercialized. It was more on the sweet side and refreshing, but not much alcohol content tasted. It was easy to drink as well.

Grilled dried puffer dish - It was done nicely, as it was soft and chewy. Normally it will be abit tough, but it was grilled till it was charred on the outside, yet retaining the softness in it. Cream was provided at the side to enhance the taste.

Grilled cheese mochi - The skin was grilled till abit dry on the outside, but it was still very cheesy in it. The cheese inside was creamy and hot.

Fresh eel - I enjoyed this alot, as it was grilled till very crispy and hot outside, with some charred at the edges. The meat was soft, almost melting in my mouth. It was very flavourful as well as the chef added some spices onto it while grilling.

Grilled taro was white in color, instead of the usual purple color. It was not soft enough, as it was slightly tough. It was juicy though. Grilled ladyfinger was cut into small pieces, and it was juicy. Grilled green pepper was slightly spicy and it opened up my appetite.

Angus baby beef rib - The chef applied marinated sauce onto it when grilling, thus it was juicy and tender.

Grilled rice roll (cod fish roe) - As we were still not full, we decided to order a rice roll. The portion was quite huge, with seaweed pieces given to wrap with the rice roll. The fish roe was rich in flavour, helping to enhance the taste. It was abit dry though.

最近搵到呢間係銅鑼灣,

唔餓但又想食少少野,朋友想試下就去左呢間串燒! 環境今晚唔太熱,所以冷氣唔大還可以接受,有高枱有普通枱,們數量唔多,如果人多就要考慮下啦,人少3-4 個就冇問題。 由於牛舌太好食,食完先記得未影,但一定係要叫的燒牛舌,未試過咁淋的燒牛舌,完全唔會感覺難咬!

呢份玉子蛋係我食過玉子蛋以黎最好食既!唔係誇張,平時食既玉子蛋比較乾身挺身,因為要有返咁上下熟先卷得到同固定到形狀。但呢度既玉子蛋好濕潤軟綿綿好多汁,入口個仲暖粒粒。我問店員係咪有咩袐訣,佢淨係笑笑口問我好唔好食,好想沖入廚房睇下佢點整

燒豬手
呢份豬手好有特色,原因係在於佢煮得好腍!係啲骨都腍埋,咬落好似食緊䉀渣骨咁。。。不得不佩服廚房既師傅
煮得咁腍個仲未煮得爛隻豬手,然後仲可以拎去燒,真係意想不到。食落同食開既唔同,係一種新口感,腍得黎豬手既膠質粘性比例重,可能佢用甜醬汁煮過既關係,粘性就似糖漿煮到起膠咁。正如我講,啲骨係真係腍到可以食埋落肚,當然太大舊個啲唔得。口感一流!但味道我覺得咸左少少,可能燒之前用醬汁煮太耐,如果改善到長時間煮完之後都唔會太咸,呢份豬手值100分!!!

食完之後我覺得平時食開既港式串燒認真麻麻.......雖然個個都知平時都係得豬雞牛羊食,但烹調手法既配搭同創新,對食物口感同質素真係有好大影響!!!

呢間餐廳我十分推介喜歡串燒既朋友。
玉子卷同燒芝士年糕真係極力推介!!!!!!!
其他肉類同蔬菜就睇個人喜好,但不得不說。餐廳整體食物質素好高,燒物各樣燒完出黎仍然水份足。火喉既控制實在太好,唔會太乾身又保持到食材既水份

埋單個陣聽店員講,每逢星期日有live band表演添!!

燒芝士年糕有驚喜,跟平常在放題吃的完全不同。這裡的年糕皮很薄,一咬便散開,十分鬆化軟熟。而芝士味道濃而不膩,真想吃多件唷,但還想試其他串燒呢~ 😂

最後來了免治雞肉棒作總結,外皮燒得脆身,裡面的免治雞肉嫩滑,咬下很有口感。把生蛋混在醬汁裡,沾在免治雞肉棒上十分味美。
