Feels like being ripped off. The price actually charged was much higher than what's on the menu. Should have informed us, bottom line. They recommended dishes not on the menu without giving the price and u ended up paying much higher. There are 2 choices for soups on the menu both for HK$110. Yet they recommended lobster soup without telling the price and we ended up paying HK$170 for that. Not worth a second visit.

This little gem is overpriced. With the price, we could have gone to a five star hotel for better food quality, better food presentation, better service and better environment. A piece of layer cake costs $128 which is not even mentioned on the menu. The menu states $68, I accept there is a price difference if it is mentioned to the customers prior serving it. I will not go to this place again with this price and integrity.

Amazing dining experience (Highly Recommended!).I have been to Brown No.6 for a total of 5 times in 2020, and have continuously recommended this restaurant to my friends and colleagues (several have gone and shared the same / better experiences than I have had).The Chef and staff there really take time in understanding your taste and the dining experience that you are looking for and they do a very good job in adjusting and tailoring their service & food to your needs.Despite having visited this restaurant several times, I find myself pleasantly surprised each time I visit - having my expectations exceeded. The flavours have a lot of depth (Gravy especially) and in my opinion compete very strongly with the top-tier "Fine dining" restaurants in Hong Kong. If you are looking for:- An intimate and relaxing dining experience, -Great tasting food ,-Reasonably priced food,I would strongly recommend trying Brown No.6. My top recommendations at the restaurant:-Smoked Eel-Pork Chop-Steak-Puff Pastry

This is the first time I went to this restaurant, cos seems with quite good comment and reasonable price as what I saw in this platform.Frankly it's a good restaurant with quality food offered, mostly imported from other countries. However, we specifically ordered 2 sets of "daily fish" which shall cost $290 per set (according to the menu) but eventually have been charged at $480 per set!! And I ordered dessert for 4 persons via phone to celebrate my mom's birthday. According to the menu, dessert shall cost $68 per person (daily cake topped with fresh cream or ice cream). Eventually have been charged at $580 for a birthday cake. What we have got that day was indeed 4 slices of cakes topped with ice cream. It was not a whole birthday cake but we have been charged for that without prior notice. For both "daily fish" & "dessert", we thought we shall be charged according to the menu instead of different price. We would expect the restaurant staff should "highlight" to us if there is any cost difference vs the menu. This is common sense and polite gesture, instead of throwing a surprise when we settle the bill. The overall experience may lead customers to consider the restaurant is dishonest on offering food prices that are different from the menu.Even the food is great but with such experience, will definitely not visit again. Already feedback to the restaurant, which they admitted they did not tell us the price because that will be "impolite" to the customers. They don't think they have any responsibility or fault at all. Pls be cautious as don't want others to be cheated or fooled if choose to go there.
