This was the first time I had been here. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning as I was never too keen restaurant within a department store (Lane Crawford in this case). This was the first time I had been here. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning as I was never too keen restaurant within a department store (Lane Crawford in this case). However, I had tried booking it for a few times and even days ahead it was also full. So I have been curious why it's been so popular.

I finally managed to book a table today. So right after I called up "The Box" (which I also had made a reservation as back up) to cancel my booking. But just when I hung up, the manager of Cafe Costa called and said they don't have a normal table anymore and has to put us at the Bar or outside at the balcony. I was really pissed as they should have told me when I made the reservation but kept the reservation anymway.

When we arrived there, they actually managed to give us a normal table. May be someone has cancelled so I was happy and all was forgotten.

The two of us both chose from the lunch special menu just because we can't be bothered to look at the A la Carte items as there are really choices. Surprising, as I thought restaurant cafes always only limited number of choices.

We both ended choosing the same things for starter and the main courses. The starters was beef cappacio, the beef was very fresh but a tastless. Ikept thinking it would be nicer if the chef had sprinkled a bit of lemon juice onto it. It could uplift the taste of the beef. That's a bit of a shame.

We chose salmon steak. Very fresh, I can't complain. I like the mandarin orange slides which really went well with the salmon. Very unique idea!

For dessert, my friend chose something like a chocolate mouse cake - a bit on the rich side, and the portion is huge. So my friend had a hard time finishing it. But it tasted very nice, just sinful.

I chose a coconut penna cotta. It was really good. The coconut taste was not too strong, just enough to give the penaa cotta a special character, making the usual or plain or vanilla penna cotta seem a bit boring in compari

It's a hidden area, but the night view is pretty nice, I wonder why the place is quiet without many customers.About the place: New and clean. A comfortable place to stay. With candles at night add up a romantic, mysterious atmosphere.About the food: Out of our surprise, the food is nice. my friend ordered the brunch : omelet, ham, sausage , beef, and i ordered fillet. About the place: New and clean. A comfortable place to stay. With candles at night add up a romantic, mysterious atmosphere.

一行六人來CafCosta吃下午茶，除了必吃的High Tea Set外，亦點了內容豐富的$138All-Day Breakfast。先論High Tea，鹹點依然精緻香口，那三文魚和巴馬火腿多士最值得推介。頂層的朱古力Scones 做到外脆內軟，但芝士selection 則比以往馬虎，不鹹又不香。值體上仍值得推介，雖然已有馬虎的跡象。All-Day Breakfast 可選擇蛋的做法，妹妹要了scramble egg，可惜煎得過火，有點死實。腸是優質的胡椒豬肉腸，欣賞那層堙韌的腸衣。煙肉爸爸嫌煎得不夠焦香，煎薯餅亦屬一般水準。

High tea了這麼多年，還是頭一次有「很好吃」的感覺。話說某日媽媽在連卡彿消費，sales隨即送了她一張CafCosta的tea set complimentary ticket，於是便和媽媽前來一試。Tea Set for 2原價$258，包兩杯飲品。媽媽要了valrhona朱古力奶，我就要了peppermint tea。朱古力奶不愧為valrhona出品，可可味超濃，媽媽非常滿意。等了約20分鐘，三層的tea set終於上場，底層是鹹點，中層是芝士和scones，頂層是biscotti和cr鋗e brulee。三層中最出色的是鹹點，tomato mozzarella、三文魚、鹹火腿on toast都用料上乘，多士烘到極脆，令人留下深刻印象，炸過的迷你腸仔包和咖哩puff亦香脆可口。中層的cheddar和另一種鹹香十足的soft cheese亦屬落重本的靚貨，和鬆軟但偏甜的scones一塊吃，別俱滋味。迷你果撻的mix berries太粒新鮮，只嫌custard起粉粒，不夠柔滑。頂層的Biscotti堅脆不過甜，佐茶一流。Cr鋗e brulee以中式匙羹盛着，焦糖面燒得好脆，燉蛋

Tea set味道一流，但環境和餐具都略見失色；既然位於連卡彿內，便應多加着重包裝。

        lunch食過cafe costa幾次, 襯得閒post返d review先...印象中不論係set lunch定沙律, cafe costa d野都係幾新鮮同幾好食既, 尤其是一個泰式既吞拿魚沙律(>$150). 但係老實講, d野食就肯定唔係好食到值咁貴...不過, 間餐廳對住維港, 而且又坐得舒服, 服務又唔錯, 如果想舒舒服服食個lunch傾下計relax下, cafe costa 就絕對係理想既選擇

        Grilled半生熟tuna$270(+10%)，水準OK啦，如可再raw一點便更好。但單一個main course要這價錢，這裡的食物質素及賣相方面都似乎不能交足功課。另外，雖然此餐廳的入口是在Lane Crawford內，但持有該百貨的VIPcard卻沒有discount。
