湯通粉

餐肉是自製的,像真度頗高,但煎不脆。而且個人覺得太鹹和0鞋。其實如果為了健康,這種自製也是毫無必要的,倒不如吃幾片白灼的瘦肉吧,也可以好味的,就不要去想午餐肉了。Caffeine-free coffee, alcohol-free beer 這一路數的東西,誰要啊。

奶茶

除了外型,無一可取。

味道只有苦;茶香=零,而且0鞋口
加了一大匙糖仍難以入口。

食物除了奶茶是正常份量,其他都比一般少。幸好正想節食。

整件事似乎反映了主事人對控制食材的信心和慾望都過大了,不幸地反過來被控制了。一次失敗的煮飯仔遊戲。

如果有哪一位想證實在下的說法,請也去一趟吧 - 當然$58 就要自負了。

呢間餐廳的裝修、衞生及環境比一般茶餐廳佳,但食物的味道卻麻麻,用這樣的價錢換這樣的味道,可以說是不抵食。它的干炒牛河個樣炒得幾靚,但味道卻很淡,無咩味。牛肉又亁又硬又多油。常餐嘅通粉可以說是不太好吃,啲湯嘅味道怪怪哋。午餐肉是自家製造,有些亁,但比平常的午餐肉少油。

Have read an article on this place and decided to go there for breakfast. I guess I will not be going back. Ordered the Homemade Luncheon Meat and Egg Noodle. Have read an article on this place and decided to go there for breakfast. I guess I will not be going back.

Ordered the Homemade Luncheon Meat and Egg Noodle. Guess this place do not add salt to the soup base? Complete tasteless....the luncheon meat is suppose to be homemade - guess it is healthier but I much prefer the unhealthy ones. The eggs which they are known for - nothing to write home about. The tea - have tasted better ones. The price - expensive. Lucky I went for breakfast - the set with the noodle and tea came to $38 - expensive compared to other Chinese canteens. I looked at the menu and noticed that they charge $68 for this a la carte!

Anyways, on my way out, saw that they charge $10 for the pineapple buns and it looked pretty average. Given the rents in Central, don't think they will survive for very long give the pricing and tast of the food (very average, actually not good....)

貫切店名之CANTOPOP,大家也知道這是廣東流行曲之英文名稱,店內播的音樂,又不盡是播清一色廣東歌,我第一個晚上來,播著的是陳綺貞,接下來就到陳奕迅的"給愛麗絲"。。。看看個餐牌,每一道也不便宜,與翠華消費相若,但是其餐蛋麵比干炒牛河更貴,要$68一碗,價值觀有點本末倒置。首先,便要了一碟鮮菌交響曲。

此味用上自家製的意粉,但配合中式的做法,即是用豉油來炒,再加上本地的秀珍菇,磨菇等等。炒得乾身,色水均勻。麵條煙齦彈牙,不過覺得有點大材小用。其豉油味香甜,菇菌則沒甚味道。將整碟意粉吃光,碟底果然沒有積聚油份,值得一讚。

近期常有人說干炒牛河,聽說CANTOPOP也做得不錯,賣$58一碟還便宜過何洪記,碟頭比較細一點,還有點鑊氣,醬油色水深,不過好些河粉仍未上色,而且炒得有點爛。幸好牛肉質素佳,沒有下梳打粉,肉質夠嚼勁,而且肉味濃。河粉上的生荵,是多此一舉,辛辣味道將牛河味道完全蓋過,至於店內用的辣醬,可惜不是余均益。

另一道吹噓得巴閉的菜式,就是貌似電影食神內的"黯然銷魂飯",名為"犀飛利叉蛋飯",價值$68。叉燒是低溫自家製,蛋是由聽著音樂的母雞生下來,綽頭十足。

這個叉燒的外表,完全不像我們在燒臘店吃的叉燒,像煙鴨胸多一點。肉質是柔軟,但既不像吃廣東叉燒,亦不似日本拉麵的叉燒,感覺很奇怪。充滿音樂細胞的雞蛋,我真的吃不出用音樂來胎教的玄機,但這個太陽蛋的確幾靚仔,蛋黃香甜濃郁,至於這算不算聽著音樂的效果,大抵是同日本神戶牛,喝啤酒兼按摩的道理相若。最失敗是醬汁極少,未吃到一半便要乾哽白飯,淋些在桌上的豉油,跟本不是那一回事,說到背後的故事,$68可能物有所值,但得出來的味道,絕對物非所值。

還有另一道很巴閉的菜式,就是我之前提過,價值比干炒牛河高的餐蛋麵,哈哈,連午餐肉,通粉又是自家製作。有些食材無錯是自家製的好,但有些如罐頭食品也要自己來,未免過了火位,吃著這個既像肉餅,又有少少像沒有加馬蹄粒的煎藕餅之午餐肉,究竟,我還是吃午餐肉嗎?將午餐肉弄成如此精細,還叫午餐肉嗎?同樣自製的通粉,老實說,質素與乾貨的沒兩樣,唯一要讚的,就是菜湯底味道清甜而不濁,很怕喝湯的人,一定會喝清光。

$28一客三文治餐,要多個通粉加$10。我點了蛋牛治,有別其他茶餐廳,其蛋牛治的牛肉,切成一粒一粒方型,再混合雞蛋,洋荵粒炒埋一起便成,雞蛋炒得嫩滑,充滿蛋香,牛肉粒竟然有彈性,感覺不像吃牛肉,如果要與新香園的豪邁粗獷風味,我還是要後者。

總括多次之經驗,CANTOPOP誠意是有,得出來的效果則強差人意,與其說是精良,不如說是扭曲,將本來平民的食品精英化,有時候會弄巧反拙。雖然身在中環是收得起這個價位,大多人吃東西,只求味道,不會求背後的理念。

今天果然是酷熱天氣...汗流浹背..拎住一袋二袋, 只想盡快回家..
路過見到這店, 離遠見到有餅櫃... 呵呵...原來有麵包賣...為食癮起..
點都要入去望下...
共有3款食物:
蛋撻(忘記了$10 or $12), 菠蘿包 ($10), 雞批 ($12)
價錢是人家的1倍..
1. 菠蘿包
普通大小, 菠蘿皮的顏色比坊間的淺色..可能沒有加吉士粉
吃時放入焗爐烘了片刻,
皮很脆, 沒半點油膩, 亦沒有牛油香
味道偏甜, 包身鬆軟

2. 雞批
皮焗得很靚, 很公正, 但未夠鬆化

拎上手很重
餡料有青豆(偏多), 蘑菇粒, 雞粒(偏少), 加少許白汁..不
味道不算濃烈, 清清地...

本人吃慣清淡食物, 對此沒有太抗拒..
但c6 則覺得兩者均欠了本身的神髓
吃慣金鳳雞批, 泰昌蛋撻的他又點會滿意?

店的賣點是想製作一些港人吃慣/至愛的熱門食物, 用一些較健康的食材與技巧去烹調..
奈何...味道始終會有異..
午餐肉不是由細吃到大的那股熟悉味道, 即食麵似蛋麵?
叫香港人怎去適應?
何不創作一些新口味..or 另一個新經典食物?
要去改變港人吃了幾個世代的感覺, 一點都不容易, 還有那份思念與回憶的情懷!

說回服務...真是5星級..
無論男, 女都親切友善, 笑容可掬...
不會因為顧客買得少而黑臉..
還細心地問要否焗熱..
單是這樣, 已看出徐蒝的管治理念..用人恰當

As we were curious to see what a Tcha Tchan Teng for "Gwailos" would be, altough it was only few locals that night.We've ordered to share (as we were not that hungry that night), a "Salty roasted Chicken", a white rice and a baked mushroom.The chicken came and not only it was bony and tiny, it was cold ! My BF and I went there for a quick dinner as we've heard they've just opened recently. As we were curious to see what a Tcha Tchan Teng for "Gwailos" would be, altough it was only few locals that night.
We've ordered to share (as we were not that hungry that night), a "Salty roasted Chicken", a white rice and a baked mushroom.
The chicken came and not only it was bony and tiny, it was cold ! (68HKD !!) Trust me for that price you better go to Canteen and buy a rice box WITH chicken.
The rice was just not amazing either (how did they manage to get it wrong ?) I guess it wasn't warm enough.
The mushroom, (38KHKD) came in and it was TINY as well ! It was just baked in some baking paper with a little bit of butter... a 5 years old kid with no senses of cooking would have done better !


Conclusion : Do not go there. The ambiance of the restaurant is not amazing... the food is definitely not up to standard.
If you are looking for some Tcha Tchan Teng food, go to old Tsui Wah or other more locals stalls. This is definitely a rip off.

I m very upset at this point. they have a lot of advertising, media marketing . They don't have the breakfast and they don't have the drink !

my friend ordered the BBQ pork rice with dancing egg, same as the lunch box outside, the meat is very dry ! , the rice is very hard and dry -HKD 68 !

I didn't order any drink , friend ordered a coffee and the coffee is very blended

星期天的营业时间根本不是openrice上写的从早上7点开始。10点10分特意打电话问有没有开, 说有。10点40分冒着横风横雨从柴湾开车到来吃面, 原来要1130分才开,还说时间改了什么的。但厨房都已开动了。一点变通能力都没有。最起码听客户电话的时候要提醒一下客户嘛!没吃就气饱了!

星期天的营业时间根本不是openrice上写的从早上7点开始。10点10分特意打电话问有没有开, 说有。10点40分冒着横风横雨从柴湾开车到来吃面, 原来要1130分才开,还说时间改了什么的。但厨房都已开动了。一点变通能力都没有。最起码听客户电话的时候要提醒一下客户嘛!没吃就气饱了!

音樂蛋係咪真係特別D?
我可以淨係話成碗麵最好食得只蛋!
蛋味唔係特別濃,但係質地就不錯。
尤其是蛋白,食落好彈牙,有質感得多;蛋黃比一般大小小,味道都係差唔多。
點都好,都唔值咁多錢!

湯底聲稱係豬牛雞無味精煲八個鐘,飲得出無味精,但味道不濃不香,唔多好味。
而且好似不論不類,豬牛雞mix埋一齊無一突出,我寧可要清雞湯。

收得咁貴,面碗碗碟碟都唔係靚;
環境裝修係幾好既,但都應該係餐具落點心機。

一走入去,餐廳中央採用開放式廚房,兩旁有 Bar 枱配合高凳;左手邊係卡位,右手邊係方枱及圓枱。幸運地我被安排到卡位跟其他食客搭枱。
如果,坐卡位想蹺腳坐,恐怕有點困難,因為,利用慳位設計,枱下有櫃桶,較為厚身,可放餐紙及餐具,感覺衛生雅觀。


餐廳內嘅開放式廚房,負責湯麵、餐飲、三文治等,抽油煙系統尚可,間中有些少油煙味,衛生方面還可以接受!最入嘅廚房,負責炒麵、飯類,令油煙味不至攻出餐廳內;設計方面果然周詳!

呢度嘅意粉係自家製,用上意大利製麵機做出來,不妨一試!
意粉論口感有點煙韌,有意式風味!
配以豉油炒,炒得夠乾身均勻!可見碟底無咩油!顏色與豉油皇炒麵相似,幾入味之餘,咸味亦恰到好處!有機鮮菌包括:蘑菇及秀珍菇,爽身入味,算是不錯!配以蔥花點綴!以呢個價錢,喺度食算係平價之選!

令我想起特色奶茶店-Kami Teapresso,那杯 Tea Cappuccino 茶味比較濃!質感夠滑!
呢杯奶茶面嘅泡沬未如理想!
始終不及咖啡店。奶與茶比例,前者較多,茶味稍為遜色,尚算滑,加一包糖之後,甜味剛好!

可選方包 / 麥包。起初,俾錯方包,我同店員講,佢即道歉落錯單,立即叫師傅做過,服務態度不錯!先等10 分鐘,再等5 分鐘,終於有得食!
我選擇麥包,當中含有小麥,可維持腸道免疫力,比方包更健康!
雖然無烘過,但是包質軟熟。搽上牛油,增添滋味!豆腐輕微煎過,熱辣辣!
又薄又滑!滑溜程度可媲美豆腐花!
食得出豆味濃!雞蛋為本地農場雞蛋,蛋味香濃,蛋黃色澤鮮明!令食慾大增!
炒蛋香滑,無加任何調味料,原汁原味!夠健康!
視乎個別口味,可能有些食客覺得較為淡味!對於注重健康飲食嘅我反而覺得不錯!

改善地方:

1) 坐位安排方面不善,眼見同枱食客已經走咗起碼 10 分鐘;但係,出面仍大排長龍,還未安排等候食客入座,不知是否人手不足?抑或內部欠缺溝通?否則,可令食客流量更多!

2) 食物等候時間頗長!幸好,星期六嚟幫襯唔趕住走,等候意粉及三文治上枱需時最少花上 10 分鐘,其實,廚房師傅數目比店員還要多!
希望日後可以作出有關改善!

音樂蛋是港土的焦點所在,滲透在餐廳每一個元素內,據知蛋是由聽著音樂成長的本地農場雞所生,蛋白質豐富,蛋黃大而富蛋香,難怪市價比普通蛋貴三倍呢...

女友點了自家製牛肉乾炒通粉,先說明這不是「牛肉-乾炒通粉」,應該是「牛肉乾-炒通粉」。通粉是自家製的,口感不會太腍軟,但部份通粉炒得唔夠透,入口粉粉的令人興趣大減,幸好牛肉乾比想像中 juicy,不會太硬難以咀嚼,帶來丁點兒的驚喜。

來到茶記,當然要嗒番杯熱奶茶($18),茶表面有頗多茶渣,奶比較重,喝到底時更有少許澀,水準認真麻麻。要留意的是,餐牌上其實沒有「熱奶茶」這 item 的,只得同價的「泡沬奶茶」,我們還以為「泡沬奶茶」=「熱奶茶」,但原來「熱奶茶」是沒有泡沬的,希望侍應落單之時可以提點一下就好了!
