雪葩細滑得似雪糕,缺點是融得甚快,伴上微酥的冷凍乾燥莓碎及餅碎,更添清爽

另外點了我喜歡的Banana Fig Cake $40,已經好一陣子沒有相會,現在只想過過口癮
比預期來得乾身略硬,嚼感豐富但吃起來有少許涸喉,勝在香蕉香氣自然而不人工
加添無花果的元素不會使其突兀,柔柔甜意令其不至成為叫人易飽滯的產物

I was visiting for their pudding but surprisingly, their food were very nice too. And I somehow love that they are not focusing on coffee at all despite their vibe is so much like a cafe. We all need something different nowadays😉Their Grilled Chicken Thigh🍗 was very nice with crispy and totally not oily skin. I also love the bed of eggplant puree which collected all the jus from the meat! The Steak and Egg was quite good but I actually preferred a sunny side up more🍳For the highlight of the meal

For the highlight of the meal - Pudding 🍮 I opted for the original flavour as a first timer. It was so smooth with the right sweetness. The egg flavour was very outstanding too. Love that! Despite its location was really bad and the inflexibility on drink option, I definitely want to try their other puddings😝

I seldom write negative reviews on OpenRice but this is one I have to write due to the negative treatment I felt in my two recent visits, particularly today given how much value I see in this shop before.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Hong Kong, let alone Kwun tong where it’s incredibly hard to find a small shop with this level of quality food. However, things have changed a lot over the past half year. Business have ramped up a lot since it started but not so in their attitude, especially the lady shop owner. They’ve turned a blind eye on customer experience due to heightened ego. While there’s no question about the food’s quality (for now), the attitude of the owner, is absolutely appalling to the point, it’s absolutely outrageous.

When the shop first opened, they used to be very kind and gentle. They’re were very flexible when it comes to seat arrangements. Normally, I usually get a table for my partner to come have lunch together at around 12:15 or so.

With business improving, they mandate all customers to be present before they let you in to the point that it’s disturbingly insulting. This is fine as many restaurants also require full attendance before they’ll let you in. You hear her ego, attitude and indifference of the shop owner to those who were waiting anxiously in line. The only excuse you hear from her repeatedly is that they have many customers now compared to before and they can’t hold tables anymore.

As a frequent customer before, I was waiting in line for my partner. I arrived at around 12:15 and a lady was also in front of me in line. We were both waiting for our partners to arrive. There were groups of 3-4 behind us who were let in first hence occupying all seats before we could get our chance. The lady in front of me couldn’t get a seat and was forced to leave as well. This ruined our lunch mood completely. What a way to push away your customers when your business has gone so well?

The shop owner emphasized that their policy has changed with a stern face and says if I were one person, I could sit with a group of 3 if I don’t mind. What kind of logic is this? Is she making fun of me?

This is absolutely outrageous. She even took out a waitlist for 1pm thinking I would opt for 1pm which would mean I would be waiting from 12:15 to 1pm.

I won’t visit this shop again given the drastic drop in customer service.

其實這幢樓真的超多好西,今次介紹給你們是九樓的CASAMARGO~CASA算是有點小餐館的感覺,餐廳空間感不錯,lunchtime真的要早一點來,我們這天剛好1230來到還有位置,遲多一點點就沒有了~這天跟同事一起來,三個人剛好可以吃到了所有的主食:牛、三文魚、雞~午餐除了主食,還有附上是日餐湯、包跟熱茶。總結排名的話第一名會是雞>牛>三文魚。雞絕對是很驚喜,皮超脆超香口~牛的熟成度控制得很好,加上醬汁一流呀,肉味肉汁完全沒有流失~三文魚沒有什麼很大驚喜,不過也是超高水準的一道~重點我們當然沒有錯過甜食了哈哈,點了布丁跟是日special的brownie,brownie我們還加配了雪糕~甜食真的很很很好吃呀,布丁不錯吃,brownie不會太甜但是朱古力味是很爆發的哈哈~布丁超動感的哈哈,味道都很好,全部都不會太太太甜的~

Tonka bean creme caramel $68
Then comes my ‘main course’ - the almighty creme caramel pudding. It got me into such difficult dilemma to choose between coffee or tonka bean. Opted for the tonka bean since it’s a seasonal special. Tonka bean flavor is similar to almond (the chinese sweet almond cream soup 杏仁茶 kinda flavor) and has such prominent distinctive taste that you either love or don’t (I’m loving it). The texture of the pudding is so smooth and extra creamy, the whipped cream on top just adds more indulgence 😈

餐廳選用左非基因改造及無激素既雞扒,而且份量慷慨有兩塊大雞扒,雞皮煎得香脆,雞肉醃得入味又好嫩滑。菜式雖然用料簡單,但雞肉、配菜及醬汁配合得好好,好juicy

Cherry Blossom係有淡淡花香味既綠茶,味道好清新,而Yellow & Blue係用左洋甘菊、薰衣草及矢車菊來調配,洋甘菊及茶味突出,味道都好清新


❀ Pudding a la mode
原本衝著士多啤梨及無花果焦糖布丁而來,但因過左當造季節而轉為雜果焦糖布丁(香蕉、奇異果、藍莓、橙及提子)。焦糖布丁充滿蛋香,而且質感幼滑又好creamy,係我最中意既布丁texture~值得一提係餐廳仲係布丁面灑上焦糖脆餅碎,增加口感及焦糖香。另外,焦糖醬好香甜而且不帶苦澀味,亦唔會蓋過布丁既蛋香,甜度適中,十分推介!下次會試埋其他甜品
