在諾士佛台食完晚飯,在找地方飲杯嘢,我哋一行六人行到天文臺道倔頭路,見到呢間酒吧環境唔錯,就入去坐低開支白酒傾吓計。有朋友生日,原本餐廳話有件細餅,我哋入去坐低後服務員通知原來賣晒,已經10點幾即刻去尖沙咀搵,好彩最後喺美麗華酒店搵到個蛋糕,坐到11:30開咗兩支白餐酒。買單時候先發現有$100切餅費,雖然冇預先講,但係都可以理解,最激氣反而係nuts,成晚六個人就俾咗一個nuts我哋,最後買單還要按人頭計收,感覺收費唔合理。年輕妹妹其實服務好好,又幫我哋簽名又幫我哋影相,另外一位男服務員就態度惡劣,最後更加胡亂收費,應該唔會再幫襯。

The sauce was quite tasty but when we cut out the liver, though appeared slightly burnt outside, the interior was still raw and cold, not even lukewarm
. Apparently, the cook fried the liver with strong fire shortly after taken out from the fridge
. We immediately told the waiter, who apologised and promised to serve another liver for us. Here it came.

The second liver tasted more normal,though bland.

It had been already more than one hour since our first round of order, so we checked on the yellow-tail fins with the staff again, who returned from the kitchen with a reply that it would take another 10 minutes. Given only 2 to 3 other tables were served at that time, this was inconceivable.

Time was up for the concert, so we cancelled the order and settled the bill.


In retrospect, we were quite lucky that 1) we had made additional order on linguine, such that we did not leave the restaurant with empty stomach; 2) we did not have diarrhoea after tasting the raw duck liver. I just wondered why there were so many unanimous good OP reviews on this restaurant. Definitely, we shall never visit this restaurant again

Didn’t come here for caviar cuz I wanna try their food before spending a whole lot of money here lolHad the steak and a pasta to share. The steak came as medium well tho I ordered medium rare but luckily it was still quite juicy and tender. The seasoning was pretty nice as well. The pasta is aite though I’d expect a bigger portion for its price.Probably won’t come back for caviar here but it’s a nice place to grab a drink/chill after work.

店員教我地2種食法:

1) 直接放係手既虎口位置,放入口食
呢種方式係可以食到魚子醬風味,仲可以用手觸摸佢既彈性,店員仲話食用時不需牙咬,放上顎,用舌尖向上頂破,令香味係口腔四起

2) 係"blinis"上放上魚子醬,再放上忌廉+蛋黃碎,一啖放入口,但味道比較複雜,較難品嚐魚子醬既味道

我自己就最中意放係手上既食法,最能感受到魚子醬既韻味,係口腔內爆破既感覺、魚油溢滿既香味


No.5 一開頭有魚油既香味,之後慢慢滲出些微咸味,最後會有淡淡既甜味,仲有食緊拖羅既感覺,好似魚生咁


No.8 有同No.5既感受,但鹹好多,海水味重好多,喜歡重口味既男朋友就比較喜歡No.8
我就喜歡有拖羅味既No.5


中途我都會直接食加左醬既blinis,因為佢本身都幾好味,用黎中和一下魚油既油脂感都不錯,而且食完1款魚子醬後食blinis,之後再食另1款魚子醬記更能品嚐得到分別


打完呢篇真係好滿足,同時心癢癢又想去食多次

還記得初嚐魚子時 年紀還小

為確保味道及品質
吃之前最好把整罐魚子醬放在冰上保持低溫,
還有....千萬不要用金屬器皿,因為魚子醬會氧化變酸!亦會沾有金屬氣味!破壞味道!所以今次用了貝殼製的匙
(其實最方便的話膠匙就可以了

其實魚子醬中有多種維他命和礦物質, 沒有飽和脂肪, 而且低熱量 所以十分有益!!
