My friend wanted to have pizza that day but we've almost tried all the pizza in Kwun Tong. This new restaurant (not sure it's new or just me missed from the long list in OpenRice) caught my eyes so we decided to give it a try.
We ordered a pizza and two drinks. Forgot the name but it's a pizza with 10 kinds of mushroom. Of course we didn't count. The taste was actually above average; nice crust, rich toppings and the most important: it's hot and the cheese was in melting condition when served! It's a bit overdone though, the top layer of cheese became hard but I believe it's totally not a problem to most people except someone as picky and as troublesome as me.
However the drinks, mine was iced mocha, totally unacceptable. I can make it even better at home with just a coffee stove. Experiences reminded me not to order coffee from places other than cafe. Just wanted to find the exceptions, no harm right?
They used cocoa powder instead of syrup, the texture was not right and the cocoa powder actually didn't mix into the drinks so it tasted cocoa and coffee, not mocha; not to mention the coffee was thin and watery. It's quite disappointed, I'd rather seeing only bottle drinks on the menu if they don't put a heart into the glasses and cups.
But still, I would like to visit again to try other dishes.
