就在湯底中選擇了最為簡單的幾款,起碼滿足了各人的不同喜好,清新的有蕃茄排骨湯底及芫茜皮蛋湯底,喜歡刺激一點的有麻辣湯底,重口味的又有沙嗲湯底,各有特式,占苗就非常喜歡沙嗲湯底了,香濃幼滑,花生味好香好濃,濃杰適中,配合肥牛絕對火鍋的標準示範。

其實打邊爐的話,占苗只需牛肉、蔬菜及丸餃就可以,但閒時也會點點海鮮。首先,當然要以刺身火鍋兩吃的象拔蚌打頭陣,店員問切條或是切片,小弟二話不說地要切條,皆因無論在口感及鮮甜度上,都略勝切片的。

雖然海鮮是無比的吸引,但牛肉才是火鍋的主角,本地手切牛肥美甘香,牛味夠,輕輕灼至七分熟,軟滑中帶點嚼感,不錯不錯。若然覺得只有一個部位不夠喉,就來個牛肉拼盤吧,由不同部位組成,有牛頸脊、牛展及牛白肉,以一塊牛白肉配上一塊牛頸脊,肉味與油香兼備,十分推薦這樣的食法。

由於席間有人不吃牛,於是也點來了豬肉拼盤,可能豬肉沒有分那麼多的部位可選,所以也加入了內臟,分別有爽口肉眼根及豬頸肉,亦有豬脷及豬潤,折然不同的享受。除此之外,店員更推介豬手給我們,將其放進麻辣湯中熬煮一會,香噴噴,熱辣辣的麻辣豬手就成了,果然沒有介紹錯,軟滑得來爽口,濃味得來香口,值得一試。
