老闆娘接著送上一份生蠔拼盤, 生蠔是來自日本大板地區的, 除了到日本旅遊時吃過當地的即開生蠔外, 這還是我第一次在香港吃日本來的生蠔, 蠔兒雖不算很大, 但肉質依然新鮮爽甜, 入口豐郁, 跟其他地區的相比下, 海水味較淡, 但添了一份鮮味。吃蠔又怎能不配美酒呢...這夜我帶來一支意大利的白葡萄汽酒, 入口香醇輕甜, 確能提升蠔兒的鮮味。

我們喝著聊著大家的近况時, 一個海鮮拼盤亮麗送上, 賣相賞心悅目, 各款海鮮精緻的排列著, 看得到廚師對製作出品的認真, 甜蝦豐碩肥美,肉質鮮甜爽彈,翡翠螺體積巨大,輕輕把螺肉拉出來,爽口彈牙兼有嚼勁,向來是我至愛的海鮮之一。北海道來的帆立貝,厚度切得恰好,色澤鮮明誘人,夾著一片青瓜薄片,精緻漂亮,味道鮮甜,沾上少許的醬油來吃,更覺鮮味。

我們叁人邊聊著邊嚐美味的海鮮,再呷一口清甜白酒,實在是享受。老闆娘待我們吃罷拼盤後,把蝦頭拿去椒鹽煮製,再送來令人喜歡的紐西蘭彩蜆,這蜆兒我還是第一次見,色彩斑斕美麗,用上了白酒及蒜香來煮,隨即飄來陣陣酒香味,蜆兒肉質幼嫩,鮮甜之餘亦有煙紉的口感,確是滋味。

這時再來一道法式燒乳豬,賣相令我們驚喜,乳豬肉跟2個伴菜平放在一個大木碟上,精美有序。這個菜其實是個傳統的法國農村菜,當地的農村菜講究香脆口感,而法式燒乳豬就是其中一道代表作,農夫會用自家飼養的乳豬仔,燒熟後用作宴客。這兒的大廚對用料甚為講求,堅持選用頂級的BB乳豬仔,這些豬仔吃的是穀物飼料,經烤焗後的乳豬外皮香脆美味,肉質幼嫩豐裕,入口不帶半點油膩,薄層脂肪適可而止,令乳豬整體感覺油潤豐盈,我們叁人都極為喜愛。

至於伴隨乳豬而來的2個伴菜: 薯茸香柔美味,入口順滑。雜菜新鮮清甜。

我們的胃兒幾乎已經脹滿,這時小吉蒂建議來個凱撒沙律來填補吃了太多肉後的不平衡,說我們要多吃纖維素,新鮮的沙律菜爽甜清脆,加了芝士碎及煙肉粒後,把原來平凡的沙律增添了不少味覺的驚喜,尤其鹹香惹味的煙肉把菜兒的鮮味提升了。

剛好約左朋友去中環食lunch, 又好耐無去中環食嘢, 於是去openrice搵搵有無好食的西餐. 發覺都多人讚呢間d corner, 而且又係上樓的, 估計唔會太差先可以開樓上鋪, 決定去試試. We ordered dinner set. Salad, soup, main course, dessert & drinks are included. Salad and soup were not bad. I chose Lamb for the main course, and it was nice and so juicy. Not bad within my expectation.
Chocolate cake, I liked this the most. It was not too sweet and the chocolate was so rich too.
Overall, it was a surprising dinner for all of us. And I will recommend it to others too..

This place is a complete scam - first they talk you into taking their seafood special with open bar until 10.30PM (basically the only choice if you want to spend less than HK$ 400). Then starting from 10.15PM the staff starts to completely ignore your orders and even after several people have taken up the issue with the lady running the place she finally just says: sorry, company policy, no more wine now!!! 香煎鵝肝 - 鵝肝份量一點也不欺場, 厚厚的一大片, 外層煎得香脆, 內裡卻軟綿幼滑, 吃在口中那即溶口感令人滿意, 而廚師用上罐頭的桃子放上面, 美觀有餘去油膩卻不足, 但幸好伴碟的沙律菜配上醋汁, 感覺清怡

牛肉他他 - 記得第一次吃這道菜是在Hugo's, 侍應會在桌前慢慢的把牛肉和配料混在一起, 之後再細心的詢問味道如何, 那時對生牛肉有點欲拒還迎, 但當侍應在面前完成作品後, 那專業和美味至今也很難忘. 而在這當然沒這服務, 面前的牛肉他他像沒加上什麼配料似的, 味道雖沒Hugo's的那麼有層次, 但尚幸牛味頗濃, 就當是原味版之作

蘑菇湯 - 菇味濃郁, 送來便嗅到濃香的菇味, 菇粒切得細小, 質感香滑

主菜
阿拉斯加蟹腳配香草牛油醬 - 蟹肉燒後已有點離殼, 所以簡單的用叉一拉已可把全條蟹肉取出, 蟹腳面層香草醬燒得微焦, 單看賣相深怕會否太乾身, 但吃下蟹肉卻肥美厚實, 美中不足是雖沒雪味, 但解凍後海水味更見濃郁, 大家都嫌鹹了些

香草燒羊架配迷迭香汁 - 羊架不羶, 沒有厚厚的香草蓋上面, 迷迭香醬汁毫不突出, 火喉上控制也不夠準繩, 五成熟的來到是七成, 而要了七成的就變了差不多全熟, 羊架兩件薄薄的, 伴碟的也只是輕量級, 平常慣了大吃大喝的, 今晚像是有點不足夠

法式焦糖燉蛋 - 蛋面上有一層焦糖, 焦糖比慣常吃到的更單薄, 帶普微微的焦香而不會過甜, 而內裡的蛋只有淡淡的蛋香, 口感也不是太滑

餐廳的一角放上了好幾款生蠔供選擇, 朋友細意的點選了給我們淺嚐, 不知是什麼名堂, 蠔肉鮮甜, 還帶點海水味, 如蠔身能更飽滿相信會更滋味

而在此除了多謝朋友邀請外, 還多謝她預早的到場佈置, 生日氣球, 檯上別緻的裝飾也很具心思, 在此祝妳生日快樂!

十月下旬‧晴 上次來吃的時候,這裡還是在舊舖位,印象不差。是日再來,舖子已搬住新地方,在一幢舊樓上邊,左右也是貿易公司,坦白說,都幾難找的。 同樣是吃午餐,三道菜連飲品都只是百多元,在這個地段而言,如不介意穿梭於舊樓之間,都其實是划算的。前菜要了帶子沙律,主菜要了羊架,甜品是朱古力蛋糕。 先來的是湯及麵包,包是來貨,烘熱了的,吃起來討好。湯是忌廉湯,作為吃西餐的「例水」,都已經算是交足功課。 帶子沙律賣相不錯,先吃帶子,僅熟,帶點溏心,味道鮮甜,非常不錯。沙律菜新鮮,但沙律汁就調得酸了一點。汁醬這一環,是港廚煮西餐最弱的部份。 羊架是簡簡單單的兩枝,但烤得香氣四溢,還有香草的味道,對辦。羊肉鬆化,吃起來雖然沒有什麼羶味,加上羊脂甘香,是不錯的。要了medium rare,內裡是近全嫩紅的,火侯剛好。伴碟的是香草汁,略嫌是濃了一點,搶去了羊肉的味道,用來配牛排會更適合。 甜品是簡簡單單的朱古力蛋糕,烘得暖暖的,加上忌廉,好吃。餐後的熱咖啡則一般,苦澀而不甘香,要加足糖奶才好。 單有人埋了,不用道謝,也說不出口。

羊架是簡簡單單的兩枝,但烤得香氣四溢,還有香草的味道,對辦。羊肉鬆化,吃起來雖然沒有什麼羶味,加上羊脂甘香,是不錯的。要了medium rare,內裡是近全嫩紅的,火侯剛好。伴碟的是香草汁,略嫌是濃了一點,搶去了羊肉的味道,用來配牛排會更適合。

甜品是簡簡單單的朱古力蛋糕,烘得暖暖的,加上忌廉,好吃。餐後的熱咖啡則一般,苦澀而不甘香,要加足糖奶才好。

單有人埋了,不用道謝,也說不出口。

一直想試試呢間私房西餐廳, 經過多次改期, 呢日終於同朋友 J (又或「朋友 Green」, 或「朋友 bling」...) 嚟食 lunch 了


大家的 appetizer, main 及 dessert 都叫了唔同的 share 食, 方便大家盡量試多 d
不過可能期望太大, 整體雖然唔差, 但實在有點失望:-

先嚟 bread basket, 兩件都烘得熱辣辣, 外鬆脆內軟熟, 感覺不錯
黑色嗰件係竹炭包? 食落係無味道的; 另外嗰件入面有一粒粒青綠色的疑似 pistachios, 不過食落都係無味道的. 不過我哋又食晒先醒覺店方無供應牛油 (忘記咗?), oops!

Appetizer #1 Duck breast and peach salad「疊」得幾靚, 食味就一般: dressing 係 balsamic vinaigrette? 酸酸的又幾香, 幾開胃; 菜以 iceberg lettuce 為主, 新鮮度一般, 食落有點軟撻撻
Duck breast 賣相似足過熟 roast beef, 食落就無味及又乾又硬, 真係
Peach 就「罐頭」得很, 唔想再講落去了.


Appetizer #2 好似叫咩 baked seafood in sabayon sauce: "seafood" 係帶子及蝦, 帶子略煎過, 食落幾香口, 鮮甜又幾嫩, 不錯; 底下的 mashed potatoes 落了點 bread crumbs 一齊焗得乾身, 有點脆口, 好香牛油味, 幾好食.

湯係 cream of mushroom, 呢個就好好飲: mushroom 味香濃, 打得幼細滑身, 加埋面頭 truffle oil, 香上加香
不過我覺得 truffle oil 落得太重手, 感覺較油膩.

Main #1 係唔知咩 sole fillet with rice: sole fillet 用鍚紙包住焗, 打開只見面頭幾多 black pepper, 又幾濕潤, 食落亦算嫩滑, 不過有點腥味喎
底下 mushrooms 帶點爽口又幾香, 反而仲好食; on the side 的白飯就較乾身, 算煙韌, 收貨吧.

Main #2 Char-grilled pork chop 賣相勁似煎鵝肝
豬扒食落的確有 "char-grilled" 的味道, 不過都幾硬, 肉質亦有點嚡, 唉
除了疑似 gravy, 旁邊仲有少少甜甜的 jam 狀疑似 apple sauce, 配豬肉效果 ok. Veggies 就得薯仔好食, 粉粉的, 好香又帶點甜
其他就不值一提了.

甜品 #1 Chocolate mousse cake: 朱古力味薄弱, 而且不論質感及味道都似 cheesecake 多 d
, 食到 R 晒頭.

甜品 #2 Blueberry cheesecake: 餅底濕濕軟軟的, cheesecake 乾乾嚡嚡的, 芝味薄薄的, blueberry jam 味道假假的, 呢個就認真唔得.


最後的熱咖啡, 就成了全餐最好的一味: 夠香濃, 齋飲苦而不澀亦唔酸, 落點糖及 cream 飲就十分香滑, 估佢唔到


食物一般, 環境就開揚舒服又好坐, 喜歡自然光下食飯的, 值得一來.


連加一及 HSBC 信用卡的 15% off, 每人約 $150 埋單, 當食環境會無咁肉赤的.

麪包唔多講,沙律嘅菜好fresh,湯亦好穩陣。

至於個seafood platter,真係好出色。雖然個seafood platter一出現時,望落啲三文魚唔係腩位,但係估唔到一放入口都有溶嘅感覺,而且都幾肥美,真係睇佢唔出,而且仲要係厚切,食完印象難忘。蝦同牡丹蝦兩者都好吸引,因為食得出好新鮮,有甜味,而且唔削,靚到暈。由於食材本身優秀,所以啲翡翠螺都一定唔執輸,除咗肥大肉厚之外,食完仲會令你感覺好滿足。講真,一路食個seafood platter,一路覺得好幸福,因為感覺到好有誠意。

到嚟主菜時,因為怕risotto凍咗會唔好食,所以先食risotto。Seabass整到外面少少脆,醃得剛剛好,又唔會蓋過鱸魚本身嘅魚味,再配埋risotto,簡直一流。而且用嚟搭配risotto嘅汁味道好特別,所以食完呢個已經覺得100分。

之後到食蜆肉意粉,由於risotto做得太好,比較之下,意粉較為遜色。如果係食蜆肉意粉先的話,應該會覺得佢好味啲。皆因宜家食落就好似喺其他西餐廳食到嘅一樣,唔會話太深刻,但係材料都係靚嘢嚟嘅。

我哋另外加HK$28要多個心太軟。心太軟做得幾好,又唔話太甜,入面啲朱古力又可以流出嚟,好好。

是晚可以任飲紅酒、白酒或者係sparkling wine (當然係指定咗架啦!)。白酒同埋sparkling wine都好好,而且可以任你飲,真係抵到爛。
雖然宜家可能無咗呢個promotion,但係憑住個餐可以知道餐廳絕對唔求其,所以好有信心佢其他食物都會唔錯。

P.S. 餐廳成晚都係得幾枱客,而且播住啲jazz,感覺好舒服。所以如果想約朋友去中環搵個靜靜地嘅地方,而且啲食物又食得吓嘅,呢度係一個唔錯嘅選擇。

!可能焗既時間長d,所以有外脆內流心既效果,朱古力味也不錯。
熱咖啡:擺到前來已香到不得了!嘩嘩嘩!加埋奶,中和咖啡苦澀,那種咖啡果仁香,留在口腔度,實在回味無窮!

總括大家食後感,也是味道只屬一般。不過有齊咁多個course,加環境,都可以一吃既!

Last week, my friend introduce me to go to D Corner for dinner. I went there with my husband and one of my friend for dinner (first time). WOW....the food are excellent!! We all really love it. First, we have Seafood Platter (very fresh!!!), then the lobster & urchin mousse (very creative and good), then we ate the goose liver (which I think is a "must eat" dish). For the main course, we tried rib eyes, lamb rack & pork chop. They are all so tender and delicious. I definitely will go there again

有朋友就唔想食海南雞飯怕太飽, 主菜就改吃素菜雲吞, 沒有另外收費仲有八大隻添!

不過食兩隻蟹到主菜後實在太飽已沒法吃下甜品了, 但都一定要飲佢的香濃熱咖啡! 消滯一流呀!

男朋友選了羊排, ok la! 羊排除左唔新鮮或煎得太熟之外, 好難煮得唔好食! 所以我只說D Corner啲羊排ok!

我最愛就是甜品, 但簡直係販筆! Presenation又唔錯靚bor 我自己整都好過佢!
看個list有好多選擇... tiramisu, blueberry cheese cake, 朱古力心太軟, creme brulee...我的朱古力心太軟實在太甜了, 雖然入面的朱古力溶有很多, 但朱古力蛋糕唔夠鬆. 我明白唔可以同Grisinni啲朱古力心太軟比較, 但quality及味道就跟13蚊的sogo bread papa差不多! 我試了少少無cheese味的blueberry cheese cake, 唔掂! 朋友話個Tiramisu係creamramisu嚟架, 只有cream味無cheese味! 致於creme brulee, 有人讚話幾好味喎! 係我試過啲西式私房菜甜品之中, 這裡是最差的一間!


見佢甜品做得咁差, 主菜又無セ驚喜, 而服務亦都麻麻, 本來想比個喊臉佢, 但見30人就可包場玩, 四佰零蚊有得食又可帶酒, in term of $就非常之抵! 比個ok佢啦!

we went for a dinner set on a friday night
we both had a five course set

Starter
i had a Thai salad with scalop and shrimp and the green papaya slice
a very freshening starter
the taste was a little hot and sour
a wonderful starting dish of the night
the best part is that the dish is bloody cold where most resturant forget about
like no one likes a HOT salad
i also had a foie gras
the foie gras wasn't very "so"(dont know it in english)
the peach on side dish was a perfect balance for the oily foie gras
Soup
I had the wild mushroom soup
it was creamy but not oily at all
and there's many cutted up wild mushroom inside which was the first time i'd tried
I highly recommand it
my friend had the lemon pumkin soup where made of 100% pumpkin
the lemon was on side dish
a refreshing delight
Main course
I had a chargrilled sea bass
it was the best of the night
although there was a little bit of bitter taste but it was so "silky"
that i grade it as the best of the night
my friend had lamb rack
not much of a surprise on the taste but the rack was a big one,,,both big one
the we had dessert
we both had a chocolate cake with melted chocolate inside
i didn't mind gaining a few pounds(like not a few)and finished it all

after these all and it was just 398 without sevice charge
Conclusion
the amount of food was equal to it's price
and all of them was done very well
the enviroment was quite nice and quite
398 for this special night was not pricy at all
and especially in LKF
