Went to Stanley 11 for lunch with friend.
Discovered the newly opened restaurant DONKA so we went to try expecting Japanese food due to the name "Donka" - 一碗一串.
When presenting the menu we only discovered that the restaurant offers Fusion food instead and private cuisine cooking !
The Lobster bisque rice with skewers set including tea or coffee are permanent on the menu. And there are about 4 other dishes recommendations on menu which will be changed on a weekly basis.
I tried the lobster bisque rice and skewers with pork skewer. The bisque rice was very tasty with big chunks of grilled vegetables.
Two small 吉列 pork skewers was a little bit disappointing lack of seasoning.
My friend took the weekly recommendation as the stuffed 吉列 chicken with pumpkin sauce and rice. The prepared pumpkin sauce was very creamy and delicious mixing with the rice.
The portions served are very generous and nice presentation and the food prepared with care and creativity.
We are very pleasantly surprised with this new discovery.
the restaurant was not even half full and not many customers that Friday since the restaurant is just newly opened and people are not yet aware of this new place.
But am sure that very soon it will be packed with popularity ....
Will definitely return and try other weekly dishes again...
