這間拉麵店,開業已經好幾年。忘了哪位朋友曾說過:「福岡拉麵的水準 OK。」所以一直希望一試。然而,雖然明明住在附近,卻一直無緣一試。今日,超級颱風天兔襲港,不少食店沒有營業,欠缺選擇下,反而造就我在福岡拉麵的第一次。第一次走入這間小小拉麵店,發現內裡是簡單的暖色佈局,傢俱和裝飾都是木造。雖然沒有炫麗裝修,但亦予人好感。這是午後兩點幾,避過了繁忙時間,店內冷清寧靜。我樂得享受這刻時光。  由於是星期天,所以有「休日之午食」餐牌。十多款午餐,價格由四十多元起跳,款色包括便當、拉麵、烏冬、魚生飯、日式咖哩。選擇多元化而價格實惠,頗令人驚喜。今天,我點了味噌叉燒拉麵定食。除了拉麵之外,附贈一杯熱飲及兩件加州卷。我從約十款飲品中挑選了蘋果蜜,但只喝到蘋果酸,嚐不到蜂蜜的甜和水果的香,不好飲。這杯飲品為我的第一次,留下了不好的初步印象。  然後,加州卷來了。老實說,賣相真的麻麻。看見蟹子稀疏而不均勻地塗在壽司飯上,這種馬虎的功夫會降低客人的食慾。我只能說它的味道比賣相好一點,但只屬普通貨色,沒有過人之處。  前兩樣食物給我的印象都不太好,希望作為主角的味噌叉燒拉麵可以挽回頹勢吧。先試一口湯頭,從味

除了拉麵之外,附贈一杯熱飲及兩件加州卷。我從約十款飲品中挑選了蘋果蜜,但只喝到蘋果酸,嚐不到蜂蜜的甜和水果的香,不好飲。這杯飲品為我的第一次,留下了不好的初步印象。

然後,加州卷來了。老實說,賣相真的麻麻。看見蟹子稀疏而不均勻地塗在壽司飯上,這種馬虎的功夫會降低客人的食慾。我只能說它的味道比賣相好一點,但只屬普通貨色,沒有過人之處。

前兩樣食物給我的印象都不太好,希望作為主角的味噌叉燒拉麵可以挽回頹勢吧。先試一口湯頭,從味噌湯裡喝到不濃不淡的咸味。這是種單調的、欠缺層次的味。我會給它「非常平凡」四隻大字。

再來,試一口拉麵。麵身軟硬度中等,口感欠煙韌。不過最主要的致命傷,是吃不到麵香,甚至有淡淡的梘水味。而湯碗邊的紫菜,就算是沒沾到湯的部分,都是淋的,軟弱無力。

到底是誰跟我說這間拉麵店是 OK 的?對不起,我無法從這次經歷之中找到優點。雖然在風球之下,它給了我一個安靜的下午,但就食物質素而言,恐怕這會是我最後一次光顧。

用一句話總結的話,就是「質比量重要」。

這天晚上來了這家西灣河的麵店,看到門外餐牌所介紹的拉麵於是入內一試除了拉麵外,還有刺身壽司手卷炸物等,價錢合理,壽司款式少,還有可能缺貨(當日叫了四款缺三款,可能叫的都比較偏門),不過兩件大概十幾到二十幾的價錢,值得一吃正餐來說,點了一客雞扒拉麵,配青蘋果乳酸特飲再來一客熟帶子壽司,一客燒茄子,一客燒雞翼 先來特飲,清清的伴一點甜,不會下手太重,加八蚊有一杯,份量好,抵加 雞扒拉麵上桌拉麵只是普通的拉麵,跟那裡介紹的不一樣。。。所以我也不用介紹雞扒出來還不錯,表面有一點乾身,但總叫有點汁左邊的是燒茄子味道正好,差不多一整條,兩個人分剛好,是全部食物之最燒雞翼有四件,但即是兩隻燒得有點乾,肉跟皮一起變硬了。。。熟帶子壽司比外邊一直縮少的壽司好,這個希望店家要保持水準總括來就說這家店仍是值得一試的不過拉麵要轉烏冬一試(因看到其他街坊都會轉烏冬。。。不過拉麵店吃烏冬也有點兒。。。)話說這裡茶也是不錯的,如此性價比,還好啦

Still being adventurous chose some grilled chicken for the protein, and the tomato soup udon...

Arrived pretty promptly, and didn't look all that appetising. But after tucking in, it tastes quite ok. Chicken was very standard, the tomato soup not bad, but not good. For 50 HKD, can't complain too much.

I'll be back to try the other more standard ramen dishes...

這天晚上在小西灣運動場練氣完畢,想在歸家路上找點吃的,於是來到學生時代流連的地方–西灣河太安樓在"開飯"找到這家拉麵店,於是決定一試,它沒有像在銅鑼灣、尖沙咀打滾的拉麵店般推銷著自己的湯底是如何精心製作,或自己的麵是如何彈牙可口,它就只是平實地招呼著附近的街坊客。先看看他們的食物吧,我們只有兩個人,所以吃得並不多,就試試一些最基本的吧~用店名命名的福岡拉麵,原以為應該是招牌菜,結果卻是令人失望之作。雖不至於說不好吃,但豬骨湯底卻跟我預期的有很大出入,先聲名,它的麵質和配料都是正常的,只是湯底的味道有點像……中式湯?這實在會讓想吃日式料理的人失望。用鍋盛載的烏冬,感覺蠻風味的,使用的"海鮮"是老人家口中的"小朋友食物",有日式魚蛋、蟹柳、獅子狗,還有兩隻蝦、帆立貝和一些小魷魚,喜不喜歡實在見仁見智。湯底味道很正常,甚至比一些知名食店還要好,烏冬質感也不錯,只是相比之下,小魷魚的味道比椒鹽魷魚差很多。吃炸物最怕就是吃到預先炸好一大堆,有人order的時候就翻炸或微波爐翻熱的,實在太沒有誠意了。這餐廳提供的炸魷魚,應該是現時即炸的,不知道怎麼形容,但一吃進口就會發現那種新鮮美味,而且弄得很惹

吃炸物最怕就是吃到預先炸好一大堆,有人order的時候就翻炸或微波爐翻熱的,實在太沒有誠意了。這餐廳提供的炸魷魚,應該是現時即炸的,不知道怎麼形容,但一吃進口就會發現那種新鮮美味,而且弄得很惹味,跟"避風塘"煮法有異曲同工之妙,值得推薦。

總括而言,這店讓我有種回到"那些年"的感覺,食物味道不算出眾,但價錢平民化,員工們親切而不虛偽,只要抱著吃平民料理的心態,值得一試。

今日去西灣河辦公, 平時好少去呢個地方, 於是便上OPENRICE 搵下有咩推介... 左睇右睇, 想食日本野, 於是就揀左呢間我兩點幾入去, 剩返一枱客, 所以好多位, 可以任揀...睇住MENU, 就揀左我至愛既滑蛋豬扒飯, 再加幾蚊可以跟埋野飲...D滑蛋整得有水準, 冬茹同洋蔥份量都幾多, 帶少少甜味, 加埋一齊就係好食等左大約十分鐘左右, 滑蛋豬扒飯就黎到啦, 一啖咬落豬扒, 熱熱的, 睇得出佢D豬扒係即叫即炸, 而且豬扒厚度適中, 咬落鬆化, 食落有少少甘香... 最後講下杯凍奶茶, 飲落真係好似飲緊台式珍珠奶茶, 不過係無珍珠.... 如果呢杯野係台灣料理出現就OK, 不過呢間係日本餐廳

Sai Wan Ho has a surprising amount of decent restaurants around the East Soho and near the main street. Since I've been on a Ramen spree lately, the small ramen shop "Fukuoka Ramen" caught my attention. A quick search on OpenRice showed that it was 100% good (i.e. 4 good and 0 bad) so it's worth a shot.

The small shop was surprisingly busy and I had to queue for a little while. The waitress kindly gave me the option of either sitting alone, which will necessitate more waiting time, or sitting with other customers (which I believe is quite a Hong Kong invention due to space limitations). I chose the latter and was able to get a seat in about 5 minutes.

The ramen I ordered was a Kara ramen - i.e., spicy ramen, in view of the good comments. It was named as the "JiGoku" (i.e. Hell) soup base. I ordered this one plus a set of fried shrimps.

The ramen came and it looked fairly spicy but I wasn't expecting much.

It was super hot to the extent that I started sweating immediately. I must have freaked out the lady sitting in front of me (sorry for that!) by unbuttoning my suit, constantly wiping my sweat of my forehead and cleaning my glasses...etc


I believe they used different types of Korean chilly powder plus perhaps Korean miso mixed with some pork bone broth as the base - I'm not saying it tasted like a Shin Rya Myon (the Korean instant noodle) - but it tasted like "Korean" spiciness as opposed to Japanese spicy miso or spring onion type of spiciness ( I'm sure you know what I mean
).

The char siu was excellent.
It's thick, tender and aromatic. I wasn't expecting such good char siu at HK$39. The quality of the char siu was definitely equal to, if not better, than most famous ramen shops around town. It is comparable to the char siu at Yokozuna and Daruma.




The fried shrimps was also really good. 3 fried shrimps per set and the quality was good. Definitely recommended. (I didn't manage to take a photo of the fried shrimps because I was just barely functioning after the soup!


The service was good - for example, the waiter handed me a few pieces of tissue when I was sweating like hmm...... hell.

I was told that the stock was home made and was quite famous in the locality.

Given the good price and good service, if you are around the area, this is definitely worth a try.
Good option for lunch too.

I do appreciate the Ramen here. They taste unexpectedly good, esp. in the spicy stewed port cartilage soup, simply taste good~
Besides, the assorted sashimi are fresh and full in quantity when served. The diced beef fillets match well with the onions though, most of them were too tough that I couldn't eat, hope next time it'd be improved?

overall, reasonable price for reasonable quantity of dish, thumb up! A nice place for lunch ^_^

福岡拉麵 here is said to be looked after by a Japanese owner chef, but I saw none of his presence during my visit, so please treat this as a rumour until further confirmation. All I know is that their Ramen (生 ラーメン), Udon (四国 讃岐 うどん) and Raw eggs are 100% confirmed definitely to be imported from Japan.
The Tonkotsu Ramen bowl is not-bad for its location, but it'll need to improve substantially before I'm ever going to return for a 2nd visit.

今日同老公路過西灣河太安樓見到有間新開既拉麵店, 見到個裝修都幾靚, 環境都好舒服,我地決定入去一試...窩燒豬骨湯烏東 - 超正!!! 選在手打烏東, D烏東好彈牙, 個湯都好出色, 食完唔會好口乾, 仲有隻糖心蛋, 超正福岡拉麵- 一試難忘, 個湯底好清澈, 超正既豬骨湯底, 冇乜味精花之戀 - 一d都唔吝嗇, 每件有3片3文魚包住,3文魚好新鮮燒明太子雞翼 - 燒既時間岩岩好, 唔會燒都好乾, 雞翼好入味值得一提, 服務非常體貼, 不停加水(杯茶好好飲).
