Introduction
Its baking style represents the pinnacle of the most premium baking art. It was founded in 1920 after the First World War; the first generation of Giovanni Pina opened the pastry shop for the purpose of rekindling the sweetness and joy of life. The 3rd generation successor came to HK to expand the brand, and this branch offers Western dishes too.

今天約了朋友在中環Giovanni Pina 用餐,第一次在這家店吃飯,整體感覺很不錯。午餐是238元一個套餐,已包括有自助沙律,主菜,甜品和餐飲,性價比還算是挺高的。沙律菜還好,各種菜都不差。洋蔥湯很甜,可以試一下。主菜部分不過不失,份量不大但剛好足夠。青口扁意粉是要另外加30塊。青口沒有over cook,還是嫩的,而扁意粉偏硬,比較有口感,味道清香有酒香味,小辣但亦嚐得出青口的鮮味。但要讚一下這家店的甜品,份量很足而且味道非常好。這樣的芝士切餅單賣也不下40~50塊,但這里就直接贈送的!很有誠意!另外我也非常滿意他們的服務,很細心地照顧顧客的需要,值得一讚!

同朋友喺中環附近食完lunch, 行經過呢間店門口, 我嘅糕餅癮又發作。 走入店內見到餅櫃內嘅蛋糕實在太吸引, 揀咗四件唔同款式嘅蛋糕外賣, 俾錢時店員話買超過四件會有9折, 咁結果最後買咗五件餅返屋企。 伯爵朱古力慕絲蛋糕/ Tiramisu/ 開心果慕絲蛋糕/ 米蘭芝士餅/ 鳯香芒果慕絲蛋糕甜點經常會有種令人快樂嘅魔力, 拆開餅盒望著買回來果幾件餅, 雖未食入口望著已有種開心嘅感覺。 呢幾款餅每件都非常啱口味。我特別喜歡伯爵朱古力慕絲蛋糕,開心果慕絲蛋糕。

預訂了甜品放題套餐,到達餐廳才知道餐牌已更新。受歡迎的羊架和帶子意粉都沒有了,於是點了豬鞍和鱸魚柳。值得注意是生啤放題也從餐牌中剔除,店員表示現在只提供汽泡酒,飲品只有一杯,沒有果汁供應。主菜比想像中好,西冷是薄切,有炭烤風味,吃得出牛肉味。豬鞍肉質細嫩,配合醬汁吃不錯。鱸魚柳則較為一般,肉質有點霉。到了最期待嘅甜品,看過食評推介的千葉酥、香蕉焦糖撻和雪菲蛋糕居然全部都沒有,連好評的開心果雪糕都沒有,好失望。原來預訂時那個甜品menu 只供參考用。雪糕有三款:牛奶、黑加倫子、朱古力。牛奶味比較淡,算是最好食。朱古力味道濃郁,但不幼滑。黑加侖子有點像涼茶紫背天葵,怪怪的。這𥚃是所有蛋糕種類整體來說,迷你撻最好食,不易膩。蛋糕推薦tiramisu和柚子,開心果也可以但比較膩。玫瑰蛋糕味道不算突出,但較輕盈。朱古力伯爵茶配搭唔太啱個人口味,蘋果批則正常發揮。總括而言,餐廳有聆聽顧客早期嘅意見並作出改善,有些食物如麵包蟹和湯供應充足。Parma ham只有在開始時見過,個人認為錯過了也沒所謂。但如果食材budget 有限,我寧願冷盤唔refill,都想餐廳供應返多啲種類嘅蛋糕,始終來得呢個放題,都係想試甜品同雪糕。順帶一提,汽泡酒只在首1.5小時供應,想refill嘅話要留意時間。

女仔最鍾意食甜品,但有時樣樣都想食,唔知揀咩好,呢度就有甜品自助餐,任揀任食,節日仲有特色甜品😆😆😆又可以嘆甜品,又可以打卡😍我個人最推介就係朱古力味嘅甜品,朱古力CAKE甜得嚟唔會太膩,士多啤梨味都可以一試,有一種鮮甜。過節仲有節日特色甜品,啱晒女仔打卡。

I think it’s worth a try if you can snatch a discount; but I’m not sure if I’m coming back to be honest.Like most I think the reason many came for the half-buffet is for the desserts— I’m not sure you’d be satisfied if you’re a dessert-maniac though. Not to say the desserts are BAD bad per se, they look real nice, and the cream is silky smooth, but MAN do they all taste so similar. You don’t get any punchy flavors from them, they just taste super subtle, with the samey whipped cream/ moose base for everything. You don’t get the bitterness nor the fragrance from the coffee in the tiramisu. You don’t get enough sourness nor fruitiness to cut the heaviness in the fruit-based cakes. The tarts are underbaked and lifeless. There’s nothing exciting. You basically get sensory-specific satiety after like your second cake cuz everything tastes almost the same.I got lamb for the main course. It’s good, not too gamey, nicely seared, but a bit small portion wise. At least you get to escape from the same taste you get from the 10 cakes you can choose from.They also don’t refill the cakes and soup so you better get them quick or you’d be left with… shrimps. The shrimps are pretty fresh though, have a decent bite to them.All in all I think if you have a high standard in desserts (I think I do cuz I make them as a hobby), it might not surprise you in a pleasant way; but if you just wanna binge eat desserts regardless of their quality, this might be your place.
