漢堡扒鬆軟有肉汁,日本咖哩汁不辣帶甜,伴以帶膠質日本白飯仲要任添,人生一樂。

We began our meal with a mixed green salad topped with chunks of sweet Japanese hairy crab and tossed in a light citrusy dressing. The shirako was creamy, almost custard-like, and had a delicious butter and herb crust. My bf thought it was some sort of tofu thing and he quite liked it until I told him what it was. Naturally, he refused to take another bite. More for me then! We also liked the deep fried Hokkaido oysters, which had a light and crispy batter. The oysters were sweet and briny. Bf liked the hamburg the most. It’s pretty much a ground beef patty that had soaked up all the intense and flavourful red wine sauce. We ended the meal with a healthy portion of clay pot rice topped with sakura shrimp and fresh edamame. The rice was light and fluffy, and the crunchy edamame contrasted well with the sweet umami sakura shrimp.

燒物選了鹽燒金目鯛,一客兩件$130,雖然明知金目鯛並非平價魚,不過這樣的份量還是令人有點傻眼。燒魚可蘸蘿蔔蓉醬汁或直接食用,個人比較喜歡後者的原汁原味,皮脆鮮香,前者鹹鹹酸酸很獨特,但有點蓋過金目鯛本身的鮮甜。

我和男友都是肉系,所以又叫了日本炸雞,師傅用的是長州雞,這是山口縣名物,因為是走地雞,所以品質很好。雞件小小的一共5件,還好伴上一大堆生菜絲沙律,視覺上比較令人滿足。炸雞可灑上一點海鹽,不過直接吃也很可囗,因為雞肉質地很嫩很有雞味,粉漿帶點薑汁的辛辣,非常香口。

日本的豚角煮就像港式牛腩,要煮得入味才算好味。這兒的豚角溫泉蛋飯有大細之分,大的$100,小的$80。其實大的size跟正常差不多,如果叫小的,似乎就太迷你了。整個飯有三件䐁肉,角切後煮至腍嫩,望上去有五層,三層肥膏疊着兩層肉,但咬下去一點也不肥膩。整個飯最矚目的可能是那顆溫泉蛋,雖然端來時已爆開,岩漿亦一早已流出來,但濃濃的蛋香拌着超柔軟又有彈性的日本米,口感一流,令人幸福滿瀉。

This is not a new shop, but surprisingly there are not many comments on Openrice.

Interior:

It's located at the same building as Koshu, Ippaiya and Gokayama.The moment you walk inside the shop, you'll be greeted by one of the two Japanese chefs, who cooks as well as serves customers. The interior was similar to a smaller version Sushi Hiro with light-coloured wood typical of many sushi dokoro.

There is a counter area with about 6 seats, about 6 tables for 2-4 and 2 VIP rooms.

Most of the customers there were Japanese ladies.

This place seems to be family friendly as well. Sufficient room for baby cars and a separate room for family and active infants.

The odd thing about the background classical music was that instead of using smooth classical music, they used rather powerful classical music, which wasn't entirely relaxing.

You get to choose 2 dishes [for $230] or 3 items [for $290] from the list (which is in Japanese and in English). You have to pay extra for certain items on the list. You'll be able to find most standard lunch set items in Japanese restaurants like stir-fried pork with ginger sauce, tempura, sashimi and less commonly seen items such as vegetable and tofu in thick broth and many vinegar based items.

What struck me the most was the petite size of the whole set. Even the miso soup at the top left hand corner was smaller than usual. The miso taste was quite pronounced and they also had siso leaves in the soup, which was rather interesting.

The sashimi (hamachi & two other types of white bodied fish) were very decent.

The batters on the tempura were crunchy and the quality of the shrimps, sweet potato, shiitake and shishito was fine. However, it was gone in a flash.

The Japanese rice was also of pretty good quality. It's just a small bowl but I believe you could have as much as you want. 

I wasn't too satisfied with the meal because of the small portion and the price I was paying for the set. To be fair, the quality of the food was pretty good.

She was happy with both items. However, I didn't think there was anything special about the pork. Those were fairly dry. The lunch sets at Ootoya were far more reasonable and tasty.

Most Japanese people I know really like this type of thick broth, which resembles the type of thick sauce used in Cantonese cooking. The tofu was silky smooth and had a very nice bean taste. The thick broth had a nice mixture of soy sauce and dashi. There were many different types of vegetables in it as well. This was pretty good.

Conclusion:

The service was very good and the decor elegant. The main quibble was the rather overwhelming background music.

The bill came down to about $250 per person. For that price, you could far more reasonable sets with the same, if not better, quality in many sushi dokoro such as Kosyu in the same building or places like Ootoya.

Nevertheless, worth a try if you fancy authentic Japanese set lunches with quality food.

I wouldn't rule out another visit.

看到早前有雜誌介紹澳門逸園中心有新餐廳開幕,便去光臨試一下。不知是否因為新店開張,所以顧客並不多,客人主要以日本人歸多。店鋪裝修簡約,加上服務員全都穿上和服,令人感到彷彿置身於日本中。午市套餐選擇很多,有前菜,甜品或飲品,而主菜大約有30個選擇,2個主菜$230,3個則是$290。主菜有刺身、天婦羅、沙拉、麵、日式煮物等供客人選擇。有一些較特別或材料昂貴的主菜要價錢。當日我選擇了銀雪魚西京燒、刺身和炸雞。當日的三色刺身有螢光魷魚仔、深海池魚和鯛魚。魷魚十分新鮮爽口,池魚爽滑鮮甜,置於鯛魚則非常軟滑,解釋十分新鮮的貨色。銀雪魚十分滑溜,魚油味十分香濃,不會燒得過乾。炸雞的皮十分香脆可口,不會油膩,十分有家的感覺。Hayashi 的料理充滿家庭 feel,食材新鮮,製作細緻精美。可是分量稍微小了一點,而且價錢偏高。但是整體都是良好的。

當日的三色刺身有螢光魷魚仔、深海池魚和鯛魚。魷魚十分新鮮爽口,池魚爽滑鮮甜,置於鯛魚則非常軟滑,解釋十分新鮮的貨色。銀雪魚十分滑溜,魚油味十分香濃,不會燒得過乾。炸雞的皮十分香脆可口,不會油膩,十分有家的感覺。
