Please allow me to give such a stern comment for this restaurant. It wasn't the food that resented me and my two friends, though I personally think there is not much surprise, simply plain good old cafe cakes and light snacks, it was the quality of service which was found disappointing. To begin with, the three of us ordered tea sets which of course goes with a good tea, supposedly. To begin with, the three of us ordered tea sets which of course goes with a good tea, supposedly. But what were served upon our table were three cups of 'diluted tea' with a tiny jar of milk. We served our 'tea' tinted with milk, with hopes that it would taste better than it seemed and unfortunately the appearance was no deceiving at all. The 'tea' tasted nothing but hot water with little hints of milk and even less of the tea. The tea bag was darjeeling and no wonder we were surprised by the quality. Found ourselves unsatisfied, we requested for extra tea bags to save the misery, but in the end the manager transferred by the scared waitress declared that it was the 'company policy' that one tea bag is served per cup.
So I guess serving the best, instead of lousy tea, should be the aim of the cafe. Again, please forgive my babbling over bad tea, but as a cafe, serving good tea is one fundamental thing to achieve. And I am certainly not amused by the apparant fact to the manager that the worth of two tea bags is so high that it would be okay to ruin three happy customer's afternoon tea.
