今日收工又冇約人食飯,所以就打算試一間未試過既素食餐廳。灣仔其實都有幾間選擇,而我今次揀咗一間印度餐廳叫「新派素食」。其實我係比佢個名吸引咗。我本身都幾喜歡印度菜,始終好多素食選擇,再加上「新派」🤔可以有幾新呢?所以決定去咗呢間。環境⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️地點位於灣仔正中心,修頓球場附近。其實好方便,而餐廳環境舒適,地方乾淨而餐廳面積幾大。所以其實可以坐得幾舒服。價格⭐️⭐️其實食物唔算好貴。但比兩粒星主要係我覺得性價比低。雖然我order超過一人份量,但越對唔係一條友$321。我冇刻意睇價錢去點,但一個咖喱,一個黃飯,一個Naan, 一份咖喱角=$321(我覺得唔值)。由其係個黃飯竟然收$68。而其他印度餐廳收$20-30。個菠菜芝士咖喱仲離譜,$82 (出面通常$60)。個價錢比起平均貴20-30%。睇完張單,心直頭尖叫咗一聲🙄👎🏼食物⭐️⭐️印度咖喱入面我食得最多就係菠菜芝士咖喱。呢一間嘅菠菜芝士咖喱嗰隻綠色直頭覺得係人造色素咁。我食咗十幾年都從來未見過咁鮮色。隻色鮮到似Spray Paint噴出嚟咁😅,但重點淡而無味。連送飯,點Naan都唔夠味去承托。黃飯又唔夠香,同埋唔知佢放菠蘿入去做乜。個咖喱角

印度咖喱入面我食得最多就係菠菜芝士咖喱。呢一間嘅菠菜芝士咖喱嗰隻綠色直頭覺得係人造色素咁。我食咗十幾年都從來未見過咁鮮色。隻色鮮到似Spray Paint噴出嚟咁😅,但重點淡而無味。連送飯,點Naan都唔夠味去承托。黃飯又唔夠香,同埋唔知佢放菠蘿入去做乜。個咖喱角仲伏。🙄,咬入去只感受到一Pat冇味既豆蓉。成餐飯我都好疑惑咁諗,其實我食咗乜?竟然食一餐飯可以令我懷疑人生👍🏻

Overall本人對呢間餐廳表示極度遺憾,完全唔明點解佢改個名叫做新派。其實就係一間普通嘅印度餐廳,完全feel唔到佢新喺邊。如果將來有任何朋友想約我去呢間餐廳,我會同佢割袍斷義🤫

今天來到會展中心參展,中午免不俗的要先做功課找一下午餐的地方。帶著同事來 新派素食 吃一下道地的印度菜。這裡的午餐是buffet自助餐。可惜的是,中午的菜色有點少,這是唯一美中不足的地方。基本所有的菜色都偏辣,不過我同事吃的很開心。我只能選擇菜色吃,因為我沒法吃的太辣,而且有些菜裡面有加洋蔥和蒜頭。建議可以晚餐來吃,這樣可以選擇自己喜歡的菜色。

往灣仔找朋友午飯。用openrice 的找附近功能揾到這間印度素食餐廳。這是一間在一樓的樓上餐廳,本身打算行一層樓梯上,但樓下的管理員建議我們坐電梯,說因為雖是一樓,但要行兩層,坐電梯較快。原來這裡的午市主要供應自助餐。$98一位。選擇甚多,雖然我不懂那些菜名,有幾樣是油炸的食物,也有好幾樣是有咖喱汁的豆類食品,但明知全部是素食,也就食得安心。最抵的是:午市自助餐是包括飲品一杯,以及印度烤餅一份!還可以選擇原味或蒜頭味!我選了蒜頭味,應該是即叫即整的,新鮮出爐的烤餅外脆內軟,用來點咖喱汁食最啱。眼見很多外國人來此午飯,而這裡的員工全都是印度人,感覺很正宗。

I had visited a few years back, but that happened to be for lunch and this time I decided to revisit them for dinner. I ordered a Sweet Lassi to start, and a couple of appetizers. The Vegetable Samosa is quite nicely done, with the deep-fried cone pocket having nice fillings of green peas and potato, seasoned well with spices. For some it might be a bit spicy, but you can put some of the sweet sauce to balance the flavor.

The other appetizer is Plain Dosa with Masala, which is a dish I have not experienced before but apparently quite famous. When served I was caught by surprised on the size, with the crunchy wrap close to half a metre long. Inside there is a potato salad seasoned with spice, with a coconut paste on the side. There is also a soup provided, which is tasty and rich.

Then we have the Tandoori Platter, served on a sizzling iron plate. There are different types of tandoori, including Haryali Kebab which is fresh spinach and garden vegetable minced and oven-baked in skewers; Vegetable Seekh Kebab which is fresh minced vegetable oven-baked in skewers; Paneer Tikka which is marinated cottage cheese; Tandoori Gobi of marinated cauliflower, and Tandoori Bharwan Aloo of potato stuffed with condiments. All of them are nice, but I particularly like the potato so if you cannot finish all the tandoori would recommend just opt for that one.

Frankly by now we are already very full, but we also did order a Vegetable Jalfrezi and Naan. The dry curry is really fragrant, not the usual spicy notes but one more of the fresh herbs and spice, and the tomato, beans and other vegetable are sweet and juicy.

The flavors are great and the dry curry for me is the best dish of the night and for vegetarians or not this I am sure would be a winner. The Naan is good too.

Near the end of the dinner we saw a big group of Indian visitors coming, and it seems that the restaurant is also a spot for tourist groups visiting HK. The bill was $469 and considering the quality, the amount of food we ordered, it is quite a good value restaurant and would be a nice option if you would like to have vegetarian dishes for a change.

星期五晚到了吃飯時間,本打算吃泰菜,點知入錯門口去了這間印度餐廳,打開餐牌更發現是素食餐館。雖然平時無肉不歡,但茹素偶一為之也可。環顧四週,7成印度人,3成西方人,侍應全是印度人,仿如走進新德里市內餐廳。友人不太能吃辣,左挑右選下點了一個小吃,2個小菜,加一份薄餅。十分鐘後餐點陸續到來:Vegetable Samosa香炸素菜咖喱角:微辣餡料很香,外皮有點硬Navratan Korma九款咖喱果仁雜菜:果仁令咖喱變得可口,好一款清新菜色Dal Makhani 濃汁黃豆蓉:只剩下蕃茄的酸,沒有了其清甜味道,洋蔥香氣亦未能帶出Naan 烤餅:疑似翻熱食品,餅的「外脆」是有的,但「內軟」欲被消滅了。整體訂價質素合理,可再光顧嚐試其他菜餚。結賬離開時已近9點,但仍有十數人等位(當然非華藉),似乎是間人氣餐廳呢!

同媽慶祝母親節,佢都話好好味。the food is good, waiter is nice. My mom is quite satisfied with the food, esp. curry and rolls. Worth a try if you're a veg and like indian food.

This is my first time to try Indian food. I m very excited this night. We ordered two indian bread and two dishes. They served us crisp thin bread with sources. I never thought those were spicy and it is a very traditional India curry cuisine. I like India bread very much. I m so happy I could try it and enjoyed my dinner so much. The environment is very good and quiet. The restaurant owner, he is very nice.👍👍👍

almost all dishes taste good. being tourists and pure veg restaurant we went there thrice in the last 4 days. however, the restaurant did not even once offer us the the 15% discount that it offers on openrice. the service is good as the place is not too busy atleast on weekdays. the chole bhatura is a must have if you can tolerate the oil though it is more like chana masala .

身為奶茶控,還有印度香料的BIG FAN,一到餐廳就先點了一壺奶茶來喝。很意外的,在香港喝了幾家印度餐廳的Masala Tea,這是我第一次喝到這麼稀、這麼淡的Masala Tea,薑味、肉桂味和奶味都不明顯。在朋友的鼓勵下,我們跟餐廳反映,餐廳的服務員態度還不錯,有把奶茶帶回廚房給廚師看。服務員把奶茶帶回來後,問我們有沒有改善,我聞了聞,還是覺得差不多,或許餐廳的奶茶就是這個味道。我自己也沒去過印度,所以也不曉得所謂「正宗印度奶茶」到底長甚麼樣子。

Paneer Tikka 印度芝士燒烤 (HKD 88)

這道燒烤上桌的時候,擺盤感覺很特別。後來把這個烤得紅紅的Cheese放入口中後,發現餐廳用的Cheese 頗乾硬。因為是第一道菜,所以還在嘗鮮的感覺,就在邊聊天、邊探險的過程中。只是想說,這個Paneer 以前吃的都軟軟、QQ的,這個Paneer怎麼這麼硬。

現在回想起來,沒有推薦,但是想要嘗鮮的人,也是可以吃吃看。總感覺這家印度料理跟平常吃的口味不太一樣,可能是因為印度很大,這家餐廳提供的料理是不同地區的口味。

Cheese Pakoda 芝士咖哩角 (HKD 72)

第三道上的是這道 Cheese Pakoda,後來才發現我們點了兩個Cheese相關的料理。這道菜單純是Cheese 粿粉拿去炸,沒有其他佐料,就把炸物放到籃子中上菜。這道菜很乾,咬了幾口之後,要配幾口 Masala Tea才能潤口。

Mutter Mushroom 香濃波菜、栗米、綠豆辣咖哩 (HKD 78)

這道菜很鹹,沒有什麼波菜味,配上烤餅吃,還是覺得蠻鹹的。吃到這裡,覺得我們這次點得不是太乾、就是太鹹(笑~~),不太推薦以上點得這些菜。

間中和朋友會去食午間自助餐,內部環境裝修幾好,主要係印度人幫趁,在六國酒店後面,加一服務費,百幾蚊食個晏,不太平,但印度餐在香港吃比起中國素食來說本來就不便宜,用這個價錢見識不同食物還是值得的。畢竟印度也累積了幾千年來龐大人口的飲食文化,人一世物一世,又是素食,何必錯過,但有些食物如咖哩(和我們日常吃慣的相比,印度沒有加椰奶,比較乾同埋辣)酸奶(乳酪)或許會吃不慣,尤其初次試食印度餐的人,所以建議星期五或假日去食(假日貴一點,據侍應說會是不同的食物,而她話11:45到15:00都是同樣食物),以便不習慣的話回家可休息一下。也許是店主教派的關係,職員是有男有女,不像一些南亞餐廳只獨沽一味。店內溝通用英文。不過有幾次剛坐下招待便主動極力推銷食物,令人心感煩厭,所以去食自助餐也免去此種麻煩。
