Once a while, I will bring my wife to eat some posh restaurants in order to pamper her. Since she loved Japanese food and one of my friends recommended me this Japanese restaurant, i heed his advice. Kimaki Japanese Restaurant was located at QRE plaza, behind Southorn playground and around 10 minutes walk from MTR. Plum wine - It was easy to drink and smooth, and the plum taste was strong as well.
Grilled eel rice set - The salad was fresh and crunchy, with the sour dressing helping to open up my appetite. Miso soup was tasty and clear, and was served hot as well. Given the price, the chef was very generous with the portion of the grilled eel. It covered almost the whole surface. It was grilled to perfection and marinated till it was juicy. The meat was soft and tender, almost melting in my mouth. It goes well with the rice as well.
