I tried Lian the second time tonight. The food was as good as my first trial. I took all the recommended dishes from the waiter. Lian is one of the best restaurant in Central and CWB area; especially their Services. The waiters are very friendly; they will provide you a magazine while you're waiting on your friends to come. 好耐無寫食評, 因為比較忙, 所以空閒時間都提唔起勁嚟寫....早兩日同細佬嚟試吓, 環境幾好, 不過非常多人, 去到既時候, 得番吧枱. 中間有張好靚既20座枱. 嗰晚唔係好肚餓, 加上得個人, 所以點了好小嘢. REPORT AS FOLLOW:越南春卷: 味道唔錯, 不過個皮唔夠脆,同埋有D厚 蕉葉扎雞: 無乜特別, 普通燒雞塊生牛肉湯河:幾SUPRISE, 因為真係唔錯, 湯底幾夠味, 牛肉質素唔錯, 河粉都好滑, 其它配菜都好新鮮蝦醬炒通菜: 失望, 因為炒得非常唔夠味服務水準幾好, 主動話幫我哋將碗牛河分兩碗價錢就真係幾貴

我食過幾次, 呢度的野唔平,不過就幾好食啦.我見好多人叫咖哩同河粉, 呢的冇試過,反而試左佢既綠茶鴨同吊燒雞, 豚肉和一個牛既主菜都幾好食喎,軟殼蟹rice paper roll好味, cane蝦都ok, 燒豬勁肉都幾好個炸香蕉+榔子雪糕同芒果糯米飯好食.炒飯就正常啦.

今晚又約咗好姊妹傾嘢, 順道食埋晚飯~8:30pm 到都要等一陣, 差不多全full~牛面朱紅咖哩配法包 - d牛面朱好"林", 咖哩係微辣, 配一條法包, 外脆內軟,用嚟點咖理汁 好正蒜蓉西籣花 - d西蘭花剛剛熟, 脆口, 好多蒜蓉芒果"羅"米 - 芒果鮮甜, 米略軟, 如果配黑"羅"米就重啱胃口之前都食過好幾次, 又係因為AE白金咭兩人50% off. lee度燈光暗暗, 夠晒romantic...食物水準一直都ok 架, 可以常來

話哂起IFC II呢d咁高級既餐廳, 去前都知唔會太平架喇, 好彩係友人請o者,2個人叫左3個小食, 1碗湯檬及3杯飲品, 埋單盛惠$6xx1) 香茅單骨雞翼: 好香, 脆脆地, 食得方便, 女仕唔怕尷尬2) 燒三文魚青芒沙律: 酸左少少, 但舊燒三文魚都幾大件, 同埋唔覺"鞋", 不過成件上, 要自己切開3) 沙爹雞肉串: 雞肉都幾嫩口, 但無乜特別4) 泰式椰香雞絲湯檬: 個湯怪怪地, 可能有椰汁喇, 甜甜地既, 但又有冬陰功既味道, 好怪飲品就無咩特別, 不過千其唔好點mai thai, 飲落似藥水其實食左3個小食都飽架喇, 份量都唔算小架, 環境非常ok, 餐廳中間有一張坐到廿人既大權, 而中間有個蓮花池, 襯番lian既中文名, 不過唔方便既係好似同其他陌生人搭檯咁, 而我地是日坐既都係二人檯, 店方都好細心, 起椅子側邊可以拉出張檯仔, 方便女仕們擺低手袋

唔知點解，好似任何嘢喺IFC都會升價十倍，連一啲好普通嘅嘢都會突然之間變得好貴。有日約朋友食飯，佢話不如近近哋嚟依間，我一坐低已經知道出事。首先我坐嗰張枱係一個蓮花水池，我就心知依餐飯起碼有一半錢係食裝修。打開餐牌，基本上所有嘢食都要三位數字先落到樓，我最後勉強叫咗個全店最平嘅午餐，係生牛肉河搭春卷。講真，味道雖然唔差，但亦毫無特別。喺中環其他越南鋪食要五十蚊，依度就要盛惠百五。坐喺店內進饍，望住其他食客有洋人巨賈、美女OL，總係有種朱門酒肉臭嘅感慨。

一行十一人食lunch，　因為是ｃｅｌebrate同事生日，而有幾位不是在ｉｆｃ做的，所以之前叫佢ｆａｘ個a la carte menu 黎，叫訂ｄ野食．因為有同事話其實set lunch 唔抵食，　所以叫a la carte 的．本人是雞翼痴，　見到黎到個樣好炸，　有少少卻步，但食落去，個炸皮其實好ｔｈｉｎ，好正．十一個人１７５０　（因為ｂｏｏｋ　九位以上，要之前一日俾$500deposit)．

年初三Ｄ長輩去左飲，淨返我、家姐同埋兩個姑姐食自己。因為掛住響屋企玩電腦同電話ge 緣故，搞到八點幾先醒起要食飯。當然，一如以往，有乜"ｅ郁"就上openrice 巡巡ga la～本身想去竹源ge，點知打電話去兩間都冇人聽，斷估可能新正頭咁夜冇開卦，結果再巡巡就巡左黎Lian，打電話去又有人聽，咁就諗住事事但但搵間食左佢算喇～地頭響IFC，都奇怪點解大家話個消費唔貴，山長水遠去到，仲要搵唔到，最後要問埋實Ｑ先搵到。去到門口，OMG~~~!!!最驚呢Ｄ懶有情調ge 餐廳，烏燈黑火，食到訓著左都似～即係dim 暗少少Ｄ燈係可以理解ge，但佢係黑到離晒譜，我一路行入去仲一路講笑話要跟貼Ｄ，咪黑媽媽會走失.......本身我係坐近廚房位，見識到前面有食家提過ge 手袋位，原來係響椅底抽出黎ge，不過查實冇乜用囉，黑媽媽將個袋隨便擺響隔離，感覺好冇安全感@@"跟住見佢有卡位"吉"出黎，咁就調左過去，卡位有咕，坐得幾舒服，不過一樣咁黑。實在係黑到連餐牌都睇得好辛苦，眼都澀埋。幾經辛苦終於望清個餐牌，嘩！唔怪之得要咁黑啦，Ｄ野貴到離奇，一個生牛肉河要六十幾蚊囉唔該～最後忍痛叫左：海鮮紅糙米飯──不嬲

2 people for dinner, we had- the fried prawn cakse (batter to thick, but lovely and hot, accompanied with a good mound of round-cut lettuce, mint and basil leaves, lime), - vietnamese steamed rolls (pretty good, steaming hot and most importantly the fillings not greasy)- chicken pho (also pretty good:steaming hot soup, lovely thin noodles, side of raw beansprouts, onion slices and lime). - dessert: banana pudding with honeycomb icecream. 24/11(六) 7pm勞碌了一整天,身體有點不受支配.下班後,相約男友於IFC吃個晚飯後便乖乖早點去睡!擅用AE卡的優惠,到了隸屬美心集團的Lian晚餐.由於沒訂座,被安排於置中的座位;長方桌包圍令人賞心悅目仿蓮花池,仰望天花垂吊著數朵百合花,裝修格局的確下點不少功夫,除中央花池外,店內環境挺幽暗,就算坐於置中的位置亦不覺突兀!打開菜牌,很Paper Rice!即管點了蒜蓉包$20,蝦醬炒通菜$58,海鮮紅糙米飯$85,椰香咖哩燴豬膝$155.蒜蓉包--蒜蓉法包不香不脆,較可取是包心夠軟綿.蝦醬炒通菜--青通份量尚可;惹味講不上;兼且有一撮通菜老鞋得放不進口!海鮮紅糙米飯--糙米飯淡口卻是具相當油分,所謂的海鮮如蝦仁,魷魚及帶子全是次品,讓人胃口盡失!$85價值不菲的次品!椰香咖哩燴豬膝跟法包--豬膝軟腍而有口感,咖哩香全滲透入內,椰香亦恰如其分,較為出色的一道菜!服務未見優質,用AE卡結帳半價後盛惠$190;吃不消的水準,價格再低廉也沒大意義!

It's my birthday dinner with K. We ordered a lot of foods like "ox face" curry with bread, fried chicken, goose liver salad, banana pudding with ice-cream, caramel pudding with ice-cream and a coconut drinks. Although taste just so so and a bit noisy, it's still a perfect dinner, a chance for us to share our happyness. We got 50% disc with AE p.card.

I went there for lunch yesterday with my co-worker simply because everywhere else is packed. Anyway, we were'nt expecting much, the food was soso. I've a pork neck fried noodle which doesn't taste much different from the one I've ordered from Tsui Wah but of course at a much greater cost.If the food weren't good, I expect the decor and service to be better. However, the food was not serve at the same time!!!!! Everyone's appetizer and main course came at a different time.I think the only saving

(4/10/07)一登入門口,兩位外籍人仕帶位,其餘的侍應也很有笑容的serve顧客。環境非常之靚,方形沙發、毛毛咕筍、尤其中間的「水池」枱+假花,很有格調。八人lunch,黑椒牛肉米餅(麻麻)、軟殼蟹牛油果米卷(勁大隻軟殼蟹,多肉,米紙做得很軟薄)。set(配小食)$125-$150:生牛肉河x2;炒貴"雕",都好好食,牛肉不算生,湯濃濃的;炒貴"雕"好茄汁味,蝦又大隻。(小食)蝦餅,很爽口大件。沙嗲雞串x2,用香茅串著,大大件的,就算唔點沙嗲汁都很好味,又唔鞋口。豬頸肉炒全蛋麵,很普通,如豉油皇炒麵。紅咖哩三文魚麵包$135,頗辣,那咖哩味道、口感也很獨特炸牛油雞翼,雞除,很油&不夠香。太飽了,甜品吃不下了。p.s.甜品頗特別,及多款式$55-$75

I've been waiting for 30 mins for the set lunch aslo take more than 10 mins for my Lime soda . Finally I was late to office .The so call " PHO " really disappointing me and my friend. The beef is too fatty and not fresh enough. Portion is smaller than I expected!!!

Lian is one of the restaurants that we always go to while we are in IFC. I like the deco there especially the hanging orchids and the lotus pool in the middle. The ambiance is simply a great escape from the hectic city life.This restaurant offers both Vietnamese and Thai dishes and we have tried quite a number of them. To be frank, the food is not particularly outstanding and it seems that the Vietnamese dishes are better. However, its beef pho (生牛肉湯河) is superb and I simply fall for it. To
