So I want to start off by being very honest by saying that I didn't get to try any of their food. There's a good reason why...
I've heard from a few friends who live near the restaurant that this is THE place to go if you're looking for some spicy Sichuan style food. I walk by Little Chilli probably at least 4 or 5 times a month and kept reminding myself to check the place out. Needless to say, I was quite excited the evening we went to try it.
We went around 8:30pm and there was a party of 4 in front of us. We spoke to a woman inside (in Cantonese) and she gave us a number and told us to wait a bit. After the party of four were told that a table was ready, we waited patiently for another table to open up. After about 15 minutes, I went into the restaurant and saw that there was an empty table near the far right side of the restaurant near the window. I showed the ticket to someone and she told me to wait again. After another few minutes, I noticed a couple walk into the restaurant and sit down at a table with a few other people. I figured it was for takeaway or they knew those people at the table. Another couple walks in and sit down at the far table on the right! I went inside and asked them why those people sat down before we did and the staff just ignored me (again in Cantonese). That's when I lost it and threw the number on the floor and walked out. We ended up going to another restaurant down the street, sat down immediately and then got delicious food there!
Unfortunately, because of their terrible service, I won't get a chance to try their food. The rudeness of their staff has made me feel completely uninterested in visiting them again. Again, the scores I gave for Taste, Hygiene and Value for Money are average because I don't want to overly lower their scores for things I cannot comment about.
