今次本人光顧的餐廳名字有點特別,老鳳冰室。一看到門外螢光燈下的裝飾令人想起懷舊幾十年代,現時已失傳或稀有的基本日物品,如輪盤電話、老爺鐘、煮飯器、茶壺等。近正門旁的招牌是以傳統老上海髮型店外的旋轉燈顏色為藍本,上方更掛起地下更有一個投射機放出來配檔鋪標誌的圖案,有點親切「迎客」的感覺,別具一番風味。餐廳的用餐空間遠較傳統街邊的冰室更寬廣及設置空調,提供更佳及衛生的服務環境盡情享受懷舊香港地美食。天花板更懸掛了多副宣傳產品的廣告牌,最特別的是內面近門口以日光燈的一副,上面列出本餐廳的特色美食及飲品。再深處的已是另一番風味,廣告內容以化妝品為主題,盡頭水吧旁的窗戶上掛著一副懷舊影院或歌劇院門口配上電影名稱的燈泡花牌,以吸引食客邊用餐邊看戲。兩邊的牆上更是全場的精華,一邊是以中式酒樓的紅色底結婚佈景板襯托,兩旁以一對龍為裝飾。隔壁的一道白板上寫滿了不少字句及貼上當年著名劇集主角的照片。另一邊更以特大的火車頭及飛機為裝飾,恍如以極速穿過時光隧道進入觀賞電影。餐廳的食品以營養麵包餐為主,最具特色的一道是澳門豬扒包,材料及質地較漢堡包更薄的。它是把剛新鮮炸成的豬排放進去,一嚼一絲絲肉質層次分明,油
