🍴另一款前菜係法國特色菜 - 法式肉凍派,廚師一改傳統嘅做法,將肉凍放入玻璃樽,再配以sourdough食用😌,牛肉肉凍加上幼滑嘅鴨肝醬塗上鬆軟嘅酸種麵包,味道配搭,口腔充滿油香,鴨肝醬都會有少少膩,不過有旁邊嘅酸腌菜就可以中和得到,值得一試☺️

Went their before the dinner restrictions policy and I’m feeling lucky with it. the chicken was wonderful, love the sauce they provided and the way they mixed it with rice. However it seems like we overestimated ourselves as the chicken is way too much for 2 people tho it’s truly delicious. Yum yum! Highly recommended

- Every single ingredient was handled delicately, all of them are in their best quality

- the pigeon🕊️breast was extremely tender with mild gamy taste
- the cannelloni was al dente & smooth, couldn't taste the artichoke as the🦆duck foie gras has a strong taste

XO仔唔煮餸都知「天使麵」乃意粉中最幼細嘅一款,就好比天使秀髮般,故得此美名。當驚見意大利粉麵條粗粗,已能百分百肯定盒中嘅冇可能係天使麵
;即使小天使愛神丘比特身形肥胖,其髮質都一樣纖幼唔肥囉!莫非係法國廚師對意大利食材唔夠熟識,未能辨認出何謂天使麵
?!如果話缺貨的話依個籍口更不能接受,因為訂單早兩日前已付款確認,而且喺電視都見識過小小廚神們只要有麵粉同壓麵機,全部都識自己搓製意粉麵條,照道理應該唔會難到職業廚師囉!

星級法國餐廳「Louise」嘅外賣套餐包裝堅掂,入面仲列明用餐前如何處理食物,製作認真得很!無奈食物質素遠不及傳聞般美味,招牌黃雞頂多屬平庸之作,最驚嚇就係天使麵連主材意粉種類都搞錯咗
,與高企嘅價格明顯並不相符,相信米芝蓮一星要由小天使親手摘除了!

People say they have the best chicken in town and I say they DO! The chicken is marinated to the core and I love the rosemary. The order also comes with a “claypot” rice, crisped chicken skin and chicken oil gravy. I won’t add white truffles next time because you couldn’t really taste them (it’s just an upsell). I personally think the chicken itself is good for 2 people only. It’s too delicious to share!

I visited this restaurant for lunch. I was guided in by a waitress to be seated, then I requested whether I can be seated indoor. The waitress replied as can’t as I was wearing shorts, at the same time I saw a foreigner wearing shorts and sitting indoor as well. 餐廳招牌菜之一,香烤本地黃雞拌日本新潟米燉飯,係加入香港飲食元素嘅一道法式料理。 製作時間需要50分鐘,所以如果要試就第一時間嗌定啦😆。
呢道菜包含全隻烤雞、雞油飯同沙律,份量足夠4個人食。首先會全隻雞上桌比客人影相,然後侍應會再攞入廚房分件。 烤雞色澤金黃而且均勻,雞皮薄脆,雞肉近腿部關節位尤其嫩滑,咬落去會有肉汁慢慢滲出🤩。個人覺得同中式脆皮燒雞嘅分別在於牛油同香草味較濃郁,烤雞皮下脂肪唔多,食落冇咁油膩但依然充滿肉汁。

另一道餐廳人氣之選-魚子醬昆布松露天使麵。天使麵係凍食嘅,麵嘅質地比較有彈性,調味酸酸甜甜好開胃,配上10克法國晶鑽魚子醬。 但天使麵份量偏少,我覺得一個人都食得曬😝,所以人多的話就只能淺嘗了。

整體食物質素唔錯,餐廳環境非常雅緻,但食物份量普遍比較少(烤雞除外)。甜品方面,個人認為傳統法式甜品 Madeleine同Canele做得比較出色。如果係慶祝特別日子或者對用餐環境要求較高嘅朋友,可以諗一諗🤭。

One Michelin Star Restaurant 🌟

I was amazed by the first bite of the amuse bouche as it was with a curry flavor yet it is served chill. Then came the round of appetizers that we opt to share. The tomato & burrata salad was ok but nothing outstanding. The Angel Hair Pasta with Caviar was a simple dish but executed well. The duck Foie Gras ravioli was rich but not too rich. Can’t control myself but have to scrape the sauce from the plate with their great crispy sourdough. At this point, the meal was fine but not memorable.

It was until their signature roasted HK yellow chicken with rice that we understand the hype about Louise. No doubt that it is the wow dish of Louise. The chicken was tender and juicy with a crispy skin. You can taste the chicken with a hint of rosemary. It is outstanding. As for the chicken skin pot rice, I honestly think Yardbird’s version is better 😅

Louise has a very comfortable decor with a lot of wood elements and soft colors. Suitable for couples or a bunch of girls.

Overall, Louise is a good restaurant but it is not a place that I would crave to come back frequently.

Recommendation:

• HK Yellow Chicken with Rice

Price: HK$1000-1500 pp (Dinner)

Revisit: 8/10 (9/10 for the chicken)

入正題,一心諗住同Batard compare一下,caviar angel hair 及 roasted yellow chicken 是必食,其他叫咗waitress 推介的幾款,包括:Foie Gras, Homemade pâté en croûte, Langoustines,另外還加了兩款小食 truffle fries 同 pommes soufflées。先來 carviar angel hair,black truffle 味道比Batard濃,味道中還夾雜了一點酸酸的味道,單比這個,Batard的味道較為清新,個人喜歡Batard的angel hair多一點。接下來是pâté en croûte,味道屬正常,一試無妨。然後來的是Langoustines,

之後的煎鵝肝分量十足,煎得也香脆。

好了,主角Roasted Yellow Chicken 出場,waitress 先將整隻雞拿出來給我們看一看,然後再去斬件上枱,未切已覺得很香氣十足,切好後,連埋飯一起上枱,此外兩款side dish 炸薯波及松露薯條也一併來到。好了,先說說烤雞,值得一讚的是起肉後的雞殼也會給回客人品嘗(Batard 是沒有的),對於喜歡吃骨的朋友,開心到不行
這隻雞,單是肉的部份已非常入味,皮脆肉嫩,可以想像骨的部份是如何的美味!我敢説,這是我暫時吃過最好吃的烤雞
飯也很香!非!常!好!吃!Batard 的烤雞,真的完全比不上了。結果四人在很飽的情況下,也將所有雞同飯全部吃清光!
值得一題是炸薯波波,薯味濃郁,又是強烈推介的一款小食!

由於烤雞真的太好吃,即時再問最快的weekend幾時有位,又已經預約到12月了,不打緊,好吃的東西是要等一下吧,所以已約定好友12月再來!


題外話:這裏是開放式廚房,讓客人可以看到廚師烹調的情況,不過當晚,眼見所有廚師都把口罩拉下到下巴的位置(基本上等於沒有戴口罩吧)
,對於在疫情期間,一所高級餐廳,竟然有這種情況,的確會令人扣分,希望餐廳多多關注。
