我真系應該多睇啲美食節目,或者上嚇烹飪班,因為前幾日真系俾人打擊到我,因為我心血來潮就霖住自己煮野是,朋友都話好期待我嘅手勢,點知,我居然好丟假咁,煮出嚟啲野大家都好嫌棄。唯有中途結束落去金御海鮮酒家度喇。人地嘅蘿蔔糕同我嘅簡直系無得俾,表面系有小小隆隆地,覺對唔似我咁過曬碳咁,而且裡面嘅料都系好爽脆嘅,餡仲放咗好多。排骨又好厚實咯,解絕對系真材實料,排骨稍微有小小肥,所以會有油膩感。灌湯包,好大一隻啊,哈哈哈,連灌湯包出邊都系滿滿嘅湯吖,簡直系點吸都吸唔曬,不過灌湯包真系一大發明吧,楊枝甘露好應景咯,晚黑食都唔怕肥。

劉德華曾經呼籲「今時今日,哩樣的服務態度是不得嘅」,幾年過去,香港的服務態度還是一樣不得,這間更差,好似所有心高氣傲的人都跑來做服務生這個工作,難怪我在香港做不了服務生,一切只能怪我待人太好(誤)。先說說帶位的,手隨便指著另一個服務生,跟著她帶位,怎知她走進了廚房,我們只好自行找位。請服務生拿個bb凳過來,拿來時我想起身讓給她放bb凳,怎知服務生丟了就走還晾下一句「浪費我時間,你自己放」。要多個碗,等了十幾分,再跟另一個服務生要過才拿得到。要個辣椒醬,要了四次這麼多,可能辣椒還在種,未收成吧(誤)。點了咸薄罉,看來大廚需要去好好進修一下,將薄罉做成薄餅,廚藝功夫大誤。沙薑雞腳,雞腳是蒸熟的附上沙薑供沾食,不予置評。鮮竹牛肉球味道一般,安全過關。窩蛋牛肉粥,粥水比列比粥米比例高,牛肉雖滑嫩但不散,味道一般。蝦餃蒸煮過度,一夾起皮肉分離。最好吃的竟然是白灼生菜,唉·⋯沒有好的服務態度,沒好吃的食物,難怪中午時段,竟然有那麼多空桌,這⋯不用寫推不推薦了,連提都不想提了。

Environment was furnished just like any typical Chinese style restaurant, spaciously planned with grand red carpet and plushy chairs accompanied by white table cloth. This style would probably fit in time from the 70s to early 90s in Singapore.

Service crews were smartly attired and was seen busy as ever running from tables to tables. However ordering was made easier with menu chit. Just indicate the amount we would like to order and raise our hands frantically to grab the attention from the crews.

At least now we would not go plain without some salty taste. "Har Kau" or Fresh Prawn Dumplings are always the staples in dim sum. However the style did not really fit us. We will prefer the transulent skin to be thinner as this is too thick to our liking. Other than its exterior, I would say the prawns as the fillings were springy enough.

趁有時間,一下子也補記去年尾甜魔媽媽擔任姊妹的飲食點滴。當日天氣寒冷,一班兄弟姊妹拍完外景,已經差不多兩點,又凍又餓,午餐就來了這裡飲茶(其實首選是就近晚上晚宴的朗豪坊八月軒,但那裡不設訂位,週末食客爆滿唯有來這裡...)經過一個上午,大家都有如餓鬼投胎,圖中拍的只是當日所點的一半都沒有!!!! 也由於點的吃的太多,沒法子逐一記錄下來;不過感覺這裡的點心體積普遍比坊間酒樓大20%,味道也不錯,不過油分比較重,多吃幾件就會開始膩。來吃的話,真不要貪心一下子點太多,才不會造成浪費啊~其實來到新一年,沒了姐姐自己親力親為看管小兄妹,甜魔媽媽非常希望再強化他們不要浪費食糧的觀念。共勉之~

在广州我已多年不去喝茶了,想不到这次去香港,还去喝了一次下午茶。周末下午,在弥敦道的地铁旺角站的放进逛街,见到有些阿姨在派食肆的宣传单张,也拿了一份看看。宣传单张是这家金御海鲜酒家的,上面是下午茶介绍,在下午2点-4点,下午茶点心打5.5这并每款加收1元。据派单张的阿姨介绍该酒楼开了5、6年。在这个地头能开5、6年真是不简单,于是进去探店看看。金御海鲜酒家位于三楼,出了电梯见到墙上写了“金御”两个大字,然后就直接进入大厅。他家的大厅比较大,有水晶吊灯,并铺了地毯,可以看出当年开张时还是颇为豪华的。桌子之间摆的很密,人声鼎沸。从顾客和服务员熟悉的程度上看,应该都是街坊、熟客居多。我们点了五个点心,味道还是不错的,下面一一介绍。北京水饺 一碗有六只。虽然名字叫水饺,但是饺子皮很薄,肉馅很多,是猪肉馅,还有大虾一只,所以我觉得这个点心除了形状像饺子,味道更像云吞。香煎萝卜糕 一碟三件,萝卜糕不很厚,煎的香而不焦,上面有不少腊肠和腊肉粒,能吃得出萝卜丝,味道很好。上海小笼包 一笼四件 汤汁不少,中规中矩。潮州蒸粉粿 一笼三件,皮晶莹剔透..略带韧性,里面的馅料很丰富,但是美中不足是粘牙。鲜竹牛

北京水饺 一碗有六只。虽然名字叫水饺,但是饺子皮很薄,肉馅很多,是猪肉馅,还有大虾一只,所以我觉得这个点心除了形状像饺子,味道更像云吞。
香煎萝卜糕 一碟三件,萝卜糕不很厚,煎的香而不焦,上面有不少腊肠和腊肉粒,能吃得出萝卜丝,味道很好。
上海小笼包 一笼四件 汤汁不少,中规中矩。
潮州蒸粉粿 一笼三件,皮晶莹剔透..略带韧性,里面的馅料很丰富,但是美中不足是粘牙。
鲜竹牛肉丸 一笼三只,腐竹铺地,牛肉很新鲜、很大只,结实、弹牙,牛肉味道很浓。
买单106港元,人均消费53港元。
总的来说金御海鲜酒家环境不错,出品味道,价格不算贵,值得下次再去帮衬。
这里要说一下,金御海鲜酒家的服务。他家从部长到服务员,年纪偏大,人手少,但是并不影响到服务质量和服务态度,值得一赞。

很快我們會點了幾款點心和粥品,近日天氣不穩經常下雨,最好是吃個熱辣辣的生滾鯇魚片粥吧,店員問準後為我們灑上點點胡椒粉調味,滿滿一碗熱粥,份量超大,鯇魚不腥淥得嫩滑,加些青菜和蔥花,夾著綿綿粥底,米香作伴,喜歡吃魚的必定滿足!

另一款點心芋頭糯米卷,其實已不大記得點心正確名稱啦,粉腍芋頭切薄片包裹著糯米飯,口感軟糯綿香帶甜甜味道,夾著點點咸香蝦米臘肉,油香惹味,也滲出芋頭香氣,似乎是比較傳統口味,甚得媽媽歡心。

蒸鯪魚球,是筆者近年大愛,隨著年齡日漸增長,喜好也改變不少...,幾乎是每次飲茶必吃點心,這裡的成品打得算紮實彈牙,體積十分巨大,淡淡果皮和蔥花幽香增添魚肉鮮味,蘸些不咸豉油已讓人口水直流。

除了蝦餃,相信蟹籽燒賣皇是大家另一心水選擇,大大顆新鮮蒸起的燒賣飽滿,肉香四溢,面頭有點點蟹籽作點綴,豬肉打得彈牙不死實,混內爽口蝦粒,沒有不必要的臊味和味精涸喉,食肉獸至愛。

與家人或好友共聚品茶吃至愛點心絕對是人生一大快事,尤其吃到新鮮熱辣製作的食物更是幸福指數滿瀉呀!!

每次經過彌敦道,總會看見金御的二拉架,最惹人注意的,當然是$68 片皮鴨的優惠。今晚終於有機會了六點來到,酒樓的燈一半没開,晚場的首位顧客。看看餐牌,款式不多。蒜片雜菌牛柳粒很夠獲氣的一碟餸。牛柳粒很香,很林,而且肉汁被鎖住。送飯一流。今日既主角 - 片皮鴨起初以為一隻鴨很多,但片了皮的時候,只剩鴨的三分二。片很香脆,不過脂肪都幾多,好多油係隻碟道。配料没有很多,只有大葱和甜醬。如果係原價既話,會有啲唔抵。而且服務費收12%,仲有茶芥,加埋加埋食左二百幾蚊。
