想鋸個靚扒,到沙田Mr Steak,要了3份晚餐,可選湯或沙律,自製麵包一般,個人覺得沙律比較出色。主菜羊扒羶味不重,但羊味唔重不如食豬扒。另一道阿拉斯加蟹腳意大利飯,估唔到咁樣上菜,雖然靚,但食得非常狼狽。還是招牌菜dry aged 牛扒,火候剛好,肉味濃郁,值回票價。甜品都是襯托,不過不失。

試過銅記店的buffet, 印象很好, 今次朋友說想到沙田店, 我無異議看似不錯的包, 可惜是不熱的, 味道又不夠, 看見香草但完全沒其味似模似樣的bisque, 味道都算濃不過質地有點太稀, 真的有少許蝦肉算是很好吃的意粉, 粉夠軟身但很有味道, creamy汁很配, 又不膩, 龍蝦開兩半, 都算有肉, 不過再鮮味一點, 肉再彈一點會更好不錯的ribeye, 如果真的能煮得到所要求的溫度而不過熟會更滿意, 肉質嫩滑, 都令人滿意龍蝦都是OK的, 跟剛才的無異

不過我唔太鍾意佢半open式的坐位, 我地坐果張2人枱, 係同商場只隔一塊小朋友咁高的木版, 隔離就係另一間食肆, 其他人等位時自不然會望入嚟, 有時撞正d八厭細路, 又會搞塊版, 食都食得唔自在~

和友人各點了一客晚餐,包括小食、主菜、甜品及餐飲。其中一款小食三文魚Caesar salad,生菜爽口但不鮮甜,三文魚味道不濃郁,醬汁亦不夠多。另一款是龍蝦湯,湯的溫度高,味道極濃。等待主菜時,吃了點他們提供的麵包,不夠溫暖,亦不夠鬆軟。我們其中一個主菜是鱈場蟹腳鮮蠔意大利飯,忌廉汁煮得水汪汪,沒有收緊水份,味道很淡。飯粒煮得鬆散,不結實。蟹腳味道鹹,不知道為何會煮成這樣。幸好鮮蠔軟腍而甜甜的。另一個主菜是Black Angus,7成熟,外型巨大,一切開,內裡仍然很生,質感堅韌,難咀嚼。味道方面,幾乎沒有牛肉味,很乾身,欠缺肉汁,質素很差。伴碟的薯條冷冰冰,乾得像樹皮。難吃的主菜捱過了,然後是甜品。我們選了hazelnut 朱古力蛋糕和chocolate mousse cake。蛋糕雪得非常硬,用湯匙都不能把它分開,亦難以咬開。Mousse cake 應該是軟綿的,但它同樣硬得像石頭一樣,簡直是神奇。兩款甜品完全不合格!總結:價錢昂貴而味道差!

The main dish is always good in size that never fail to satisfy your appetite.

My recommendation is the steak, especially Australian rib eye (188HKD for lunch). It is tender and juicy, a little bit too rough for the texture but it is acceptable. I love the grill taste, not too oily, and SUPER BIG. You can choose up to 6 dressings to combine with the steak, and my favourite is French mustard. It is a little bit sweet, not as strong and spicy as Bristish mustard.  

The sirloin here (188HKD) is alright, the texture is too rough, and the taste of beef could not stand out.

The semi-buffet includes those like brief dressings, veggies, truffle cream soup, mussels, shrimps, bean salad, soured mushrooms and olives. The Mong Kok Mr Steak seems to have more variety for the buffet, which includes Thai steak salad, cheese and crackers. Their quality is acceptable. For the shrimps and mussels, you can't really taste the freshness from their flavour, sometimes they 'don't really have flavour' becasue they are not fresh enough, but what can you ask for from such a cheap semi-buffet? I am happy little girl already!

DISLIKE:

The dessert is really small and nothing special. The earl grey milk pudding tastes good though, it melts inside your mouth rich in milk flavour.

The lunch set snapper, steak with scallops, I love the dressing( sweetie creamy chapagme dressing), but the snapper and steak are over-cooked, which kills the dish.

男友喜歡鋸排, 這次試了貴價餐廳提早5:30pm吃晚飯是為了避開人潮。在門外看了餐牌, 選好主菜便入座侍應們的服務態度0分, 完全0笑容反而傳菜的其中一位男生比較NICE... 前菜: 牛肉湯及扇貝主菜: 肉眼牛排 (7成) 及西冷排 (7成)甜品: 芝士餅及布丁牛肉湯, 可能喝不慣, 美國人太重口味? 湯太濃了吧! 我還一度以為這應該是淋上排上的汁呢!至於扇貝, 男友說是雪藏不好吃!西冷排太韌, 很難切斷!肉眼排, 中規中矩, 好食是基本吧!? 兩個甜品是整晚最好吃的p.s. 這餐是我們倆拍拖以來最貴的一餐, 可能期望太高, 失望更大二人合共$666.6非常失望!

總括起度食牛...好似唔太付合mr. steak呢個名稱
雖然2百幾蚊一個set, 不算太貴, 但有對牛點失望
反而海鮮真係唔錯, 可以叫mr seafood~
Other Info. : 由於坐既二人檯, 檯面積不大, 每次食完一味才上第二D 不過可能我地早到, 侍應想做多輪生意, 執檯的速度都幾快 但佢地加水都相對地快, 唔會飲完良久都無人加水

其餘兩份扒餐味道都唔錯.

Everything Mr Steak offers screams “quality”, from the beige tiled walls, the finely carved wooden tables, the decoration of precisely chopped wooden logs, and the open atmosphere, this restaurant is not only welcoming, but invites the theme of simplicity and mother nature, giving it a unique twist of western dining in the country side. As tin lights hang silently above my head, calm soothing music dances excitedly through my ears, unnoticeably sucking my engrossed souls into a void of relaxation. What lightens me up is the fascinating view of the beautiful rooftop garden, standing invitingly beside the open restaurant. The comfortable sunlight light radiating from the surrounding garden formulates a cozier atmosphere, unlike the majority of the other restaurants, where artificial lights gives you a colder, synthetic feeling. The cupboard with a glowing luminescent red light was filled with racks of steaks, as if advertising the main theme of the restaurant. In my opinion, it is a very sustainable idea, since it can act as a storage area whilst decorate and emphasize the juicy, attractive steaks, sitting temptingly on the racks.
Sounds of jeers and laughter along with clinking utensils could be heard, as a bubble of excitement seemed to form around me. Impulsively, a strong smell punched me in the face, making my stomach churn in hunger as a finely dressed waiter carried a plate of food across me. Instantly attracted, I asked the waiter for the name of the food, where he politely introduced me to the most popular lunch set selection; Char Grilled Australian Grain Fed Rib Eye Steak.
As an appetizer, the visit to the salad bar was heavenly, with foods such as Celery Duck Breast Salad, Mediterranean Cous Cous, Fried Eggplant and many more appetizing refreshments. The delicious Oxtail Soup was served, where the taste was unbelievably fresh and thin, giving it an amazing texture to the soup. The Main course; Char Grilled Australian Grain Fed Rib Eye Steak was a piece of art, from the perfectly cooked steak, to the creamy mashed potatoes, the course was truly delicious. After eating a bite of steak, the squarely cut vegetables cleaned my mouth from the flavor, preparing me for yet another gratifying bite. Lastly, a glass of cooling iced lemon tea and a plate of divine tiramisu evened out the taste buds on my tongue, with a tip of sweetness in my mouth, as if the rainbow of flavors started to disappear into thin air.
Quality is the main specialty in this restaurant, where my lunch there left a memorable mark of western dining in my heart. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to those who are seeking for western dining but with a pricey budget in their mind ($78-$150).

個海鮮拼盤好正,可能係因為用烤嘅,所以味道同香味都好足喎!
