Went on a late Monday evening with the gf, host was happy to receive us and very nice about us coming close to closing hours. There is a massive menu to order off, we chose the beef satay, the chicken curry and the beef rending. Each was great. The rending super soft and bursting with flavour, and the sauce on the satay was intense and authentic. Highly recommend this place if you are feeling like some local Indonesian food

今天早上去印尼美食館,買了3盒十五夜外賣,因媽媽和姨媽都喜歡吃這裡的十五夜,雖然美食館的環境一般,店面比較小,座位坐的不是很舒服,但是這裡的印尼菜做的非常正宗,而我最喜歡吃的就是這裡的巴東牛肉,牛不是很硬,容易入口,而且味道正宗。而十五夜的飯團亦做得軟硬適中;而且價錢不貴,3盒十五夜只收210元,是一個值得推薦的美食館

這間印尼美食館非新店, 已經開了很久, 印象中多年前光顧過零食, 但坐下吃一餐則從未試過. 最近在臉書看到友人上載黃薑飯的相片, 令愛吃東南亞菜的我, 念念不忘. 這晚經過銅鑼灣, 反正未吃飯, 就來這裡吃個黃薑飯止止痕吧. 這裡雖然是快餐店模式, 但始終是家庭式經營, 快是快不了的, 等了十多分鐘, 黃薑飯送到. 賣相不錯, 料很足, 蝦片放一邊(不夠飽才吃吧) 然後把全部配菜連飯撈勻一下再吃, 帶甜的香辣確很開胃又美味, 不一會就吃光. 此黃薑飯辣度中等, 吃不得辣的, 未必合適.另外還要了半打沙嗲, 餐牌上有雞牛羊可選, 最少半打起, 但問過店員選兩款雙拼半打是可以的. 選了雞及牛, 烤得不錯, 有焦香而肉不乾. 印尼沙嗲醬汁是靈魂, 這裡做得很惹味.就這兩樣, 已飽得捧著肚子, 但腦還未吃完. 已決定下次再來吃炒麵和巴東牛.

First things first - this is now a Chandra Food Restaurant (Warung Chandra).  

Being opposite the Indonesian Consulate, you would imagine the food to be authentic and good - it is.  The place operates as a shop and warung (small restaurant) serving delicious Indonesian classics.

We ordered the nasi goreng (fried rice) and soto ayam (chicken soup).  They both were fantastic.  The nasi goreng was flavourful, moreish and comforting.  The soto ayam was a show stopper.  It was curried with rice cake, chicken, beansprouts, crispy shallots, lime and sambal.  The lemongrass flavour really shone though and it was a bright, explosive flavour bomb.  MORE PLEASE.

We had two coconut milk based drinks, but the es cendol with its mung bean jelly strands was very memorable.

The restaurant is a real gem.  We will go there again and again.  A hidden diamond.

如不是趁轉換工作地點前在咐近到處找吃的話,應不會找到這𥚃來吃午飯,內𥚃怎看也是一間雜貨店!在門口收銀處看餐牌點菜付款後再持單往內走便是廚房.之後要做的就是乖乖找個位坐下等食物送上來.印尼凍咖啡----本看到很多人也是點叫甜茶,但看見賣相後還是決定喝咖啡.口味問題這咖啡對自己來說是偏甜了一點,味濃而不酸而且連著咖啡渣來喝還是頭一次.期間面向這排雜貨呆望了十分鐘.巴東牛肉飯----分三隔的發泡膠碟上分別有一堆煮得軟爛帶點椰汁味的雜菜,半隻酸辣蛋,四件厚切牛𦟌,白飯及一小撮炸花生魚仔.厚身的牛𦟌炇得軟稔入味吃起來帶點彈性,醬汁味濃辣度沒想像中高亦不會出現過甜.反而酸辣蛋的辣度是更高!把牛𦟌的醬汁加炸魚仔拌飯吃是意料之外的美味!$80元一碟飯連飲品在這區不算高消費,起碼比在連鎖燒味店吃碟一無是處的八寶飯為佳.

[銅鑼灣是印尼人聚集的地方.原因維園有好多印尼節目.印尼領事館在銅鑼灣.從印尼人口中知道銅鑼灣寄錢會快一些....呢次選擇左銅鑼灣食印尼菜是明智的....同枱的印尼人.我覺得比較富貴.懂打扮的....而我對食印尼菜都有興趣..而且我覺得我要向印尼人學習一個道理.在他們身上.我體會到什麼叫真友情....

The girls running the place are from Jakarta, and they are always happy when you try a few words of Bahasa Indo (eventhough mine's technically Bahasa Bali, same same but different).Beef rendang and gado gado are my favourites, though sometimes I wish they would serve a few more chunks of beef as it tastes so tender and juicy. The mixed vegetables in coconut sauce can look a bit watery and less appetising, but taste-wise it's decent. Nasi Goreng, mie Goreng and stir-fried vermecelli or kway teow

Nasi Goreng, mie Goreng and stir-fried vermecelli or kway teow (flat rice noodles) are staples not to be missed.

Help yourself to the various drinks in the fridge or order their Cendol which always compliments dinner well. We bought some sauces in packets hoping to try and replicate the dishes at home, but it's never as good as having it in the shop, plus it's less cleaning up afterwards too.

I have been back more than 5 times and planning to come here more often. It makes me think of the Indonesian food I had when I was in Indonesia. Dishes I have tried are:
- Nasi gado gado (Indonesian classic of steamed rice with steamed vegetables + potato + tofu + egg + peanut sauce) + rice crackers. Really tasty, peanut sauce with a nice touch of lemongrass, tofu is tasty, potato nice soft, cant get any better
- Nasi goreng (fried rice with vegetables): decent fried rice with some spice
- Nasi campur: a mix of steamed rice, some small pieces of chicken fillet with pepper, some beef, some vegetable steamed in coconut milk, rice crackers, a half egg with chilli sauce, tofu with vegetables and some dried silverfish with peanuts. An excellent dish, my favourite, even though I don't touch the dried fish (all the smaller dishes are served around the steamed rice, so it's easy to avoid one of the dishes)
- Nasi sateh ayam: steamed rice with vegetables and chicken skewers with satay sauce: very nice satay, everything good.
- desserts: many traditional small bites available, like Indonesian layered cake, tepelan and others. Often made from rice flower, grated coconut and palm sugar.

Don't expect fine dining, but come here for the real flavour of Indonesia at lunch time or a quick dinner. Part of the food could be served cold or luke warm, like in Indonesia :-) Mains: HKD38-45, desserts approx 5HKD

巴東牛肉飯以碟頭飯的形式奉上,除了有主菜巴東牛肉之外,也有數款配菜,如印尼辣醬配烚蛋、花生鹹魚仔及椰香辣雜菜,先談那些配菜,印尼辣醬配烚蛋只不過是很普通的一隻烚蛋,辣醬不太辣而帶點甜味,不過不失;花生鹹魚仔的花生香脆可口,鹹魚仔吃起來卜卜脆,而且很有鹹香,是下飯良品,此款式的鹹魚仔在其他東南亞的國家如菲律賓等也是隨處可見;椰香辣雜菜是三款配菜中最有驚喜的一款,所述的雜菜其實是一些煮得很軟腍的菜莖、豆角及瓜,用上稀身的汁醬同吃,但吃起來竟是很有椰子味,吃久一點又感受到點點的辣味,很是過癮。

而作為主菜的巴東牛肉也沒有令我失望,此巴東牛沒有如上回在莎巴吃的那麼多南薑,但也有不少的紅椒乾、蒜及洋蔥,一口吃下,味道確是非常之濃郁,貫徹了印尼菜濃烈的形象,而牛肉也用上了牛展肉,加上是炆煮得軟腍,牛肉味香濃,而汁的味道吃起來又甜又辣,起初吃的時候味道較甜,但吃着吃着,辛辣的味道就來了,真的很好吃,用來下白飯真的很不錯。

印尼是世界四大咖啡出口國,當然也要喝一杯滿足我的咖啡胃,一貫印尼的咖啡有着明顯的酸味,內裡還有强烈的苦,終究也是因為其咖啡豆是烘焙得很燶,用英語應該是比較Smoky and Bold吧,而沖泡的方法只是普普通通倒熱水進咖啡粉內,今天的咖啡,幸好事先說了不用加奶,但原來已經加了很多糖,店家說當地人是喜歡喝很甜的,咖啡喝起來香味不高,但由於是太甜的關係,所以喝不出有任何的苦味及果香酸味,而喝到底有不少的咖啡渣,這杯印尼咖啡真的不是喝得太慣,但也是一種對於咖啡的體驗吧。

吃了一餐好吃而正宗的印尼餐,一百元有找,真的是抵到爛,這店子真的是值得來多幾遍,希望下回再來的時候,可以再試吃其他不同的食物。

加多加多的花生醬很惹味,菜類鮮爽米粽黏糯
巴東牛肉的配菜分別有印尼辣醬配烚蛋、花生鹹魚仔
另外也有椰香辣雜菜,當然主角都是巴東牛肉
咖啡喝起來香味不高而且很甜,但也是正宗沒有隔渣的

今次想介紹的嚴格來說不是餐廳,而是位於銅鑼灣富豪香港酒店附近的印尼雜貨店。從小到大,經過這條街無數次,若不是看到網上食評的介紹,根本不知道這小店原來內有乾坤,表面是雜貨店,實際是印尼快餐。平日傍晚時間來到,店內沒有客人,雜貨店內放置了一張大長檯,身旁全是雜貨小吃,感覺有點像 7-11 開餐。一時間不知道吃什麼,老闆遂拿出中文的餐單給我看,最後點了最穩陣的巴東牛肉飯 ($40) 及印尼黃薑飯 ($40)。先來的是巴東牛肉飯,賣相勁像 Canteen 兩餸飯,分別放了牛肉、椰汁什菜及白飯,另附有炸蛋半隻及花生魚乾。巴東牛肉,用上了牛展部位,其貌不揚,肉質卻腍軟得很,汁醬調較濃郁而帶給小辣,十分入味,白飯混入魚乾花生一起吃,夠地道、夠簡單,以「出色」來形容絕不過份。黃薑飯方面,材料包括了七彩蝦片、辣雞絲、牛柳絲、豆卜青豆、花生銀魚、炸蛋等,全不是貴價貨,集合起來,口感變得十分複雜,又是另一番享受,調味濃郁惹味,亦令我有種吃到不能作罷的衝動。主打的黃薑飯粒夠挺身,入口不會軟淋淋,感覺對辦。總體而言,這雜貨店的高水準令我印象難忘,如果喜歡印尼美食,應該試試。

成個銅鑼灣都係印尼人; 領事館對面的印尼餐館,

有個白飯, 好多汁的雞, 及一碟仔蝦片;
d 汁雖好似咖哩, 但飲一口, 明顯唔係;
味比佢個顏色淡; 好像淡淡的潮州滷水汁咁; 但又帶少許椰汁味;
見d 鄉里用汁浸一浸d 蝦片才食, 我又試吓先~
但浸得太淋了


再落d 辣椒汁先.
諗住唔好嘥, 成包倒晒入去... 點知鑄成大錯!
原來都好鬼辣吓!

又係下奏於砲台山附近工作搵野食,行過膽粗粗入去一試,門口有D印尼既雜貨賣,內裡已有幾位印尼人士嘆緊吹水,當然唔知佢地講乜,牆上既 MENU 又唔知佢寫乜,幾位印尼女士對我地兩位香港男士眼望望好似議論紛紛,感覺自己變左外國人。環境普通既裝修但勝在自然舒服,坐低左有位印尼女士講中文話要買飛先,真係大鄉里,去到 COUNTER 老闆娘識中文比左張有中文既 MENU 我地睇,叫左加多加多跟飯團,沙爹汁,無野飲跟成38蚊都幾貴下,沙爹汁唔辣但野味,飯團都幾硬廉身有咬口,仲有叫左牛肉飯,有菜有D花生加D類似咸魚既物體再加幾塊蝦片,都係38蚊無野飲跟,牛肉都好好食小小辣,整體上真係唔識品評但可以一試,好地道既一個 LUNCH 令我難忘。另外提及牆上有張剪雜誌名人介紹印尼炒飯,希望下次可以再試

電車以富豪酒店作終點站,左逛右逛,來到敬誠街。記起有間印尼美食舘,就去吃個略早的午餐。餐牌大大張,有印尼文、英文和手寫中文翻譯。試了個NASI GORENG 印尼炒飯($35)和SATE AYAM 雞肉沙爹($18三串)。先付款,櫃檯會寫飛仔給廚房做菜。店内是兼賣印尼食物醬油調味料,中間長枱一大張,有其他食客,就在靠邊的位置坐下來。擡頭一看,有蔡瀾95年所寫的食評文章,當中也提到印尼炒飯,說做得平實地道。等了數分鐘,炒飯來到。沒有酒店那樣花巧,只是普普通通的用雞絲、蛋絲、辣椒粒、蔥、洋蔥等炒勻,味道只是一般,沒有想像那麽惹味。沙爹雞串上枱時有些像豉油的深啡色醬汁淋在上面,不知是什麽,但那個沙爹醬真的好香,好好味。給笑臉都是因爲這個沙爹,否則只屬OK。
