Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 追月夜與家人外出共享晚飯,選址太古廣場的北京樓。餐廳的裝潢雅緻,被安排入座的小角落用餐環境更佳,適合有小朋友參與的飯局。
大宅門蒸銀絲卷、蘿蔔絲酥餅及北平鮮肉鍋貼是三道點心小吃。大宅門蒸銀絲卷專為滿足小鬼們而設,其他人無一能夠成功爭取到一件!蘿蔔絲酥餅最重要做得外層鬆化,內層清甜,這客小品基本上能達到要求。
皇家肘子砂鍋雲吞雞既可當湯品,又可當餸菜。雞湯味道鹹鮮,鮮肉雲吞肉嫩可口,一鍋雲吞雞 (例牌) 分到八碗份量剛剛好。
淮揚乾炸小黃魚是筆者推介的菜式,所謂「小黃魚」其實體型也不小,大體上有一隻手掌般長,一人食用份量剛好。每條小黃魚皆炸至金黃挺身,魚皮香脆得來毫無膩感。魚肉肉質細嫩,味道鮮香,讚!
高郵鹹蛋蝦球以鹹蛋黃醃煮蝦球上味固然屬香口之物,伴碟的襯飾亦相當美觀。要一件鹹蛋蝦球顯得美味,除了食材外,食溫也很重要。未知是否人手不足,眼見很多菜餚都要在準備桌上閒置一會才有人處理。這碟蝦球亦不例外,甘香味道隨時間流失,可惜。
鱈魚魚味濃,肉質又結實滑溜,順理成章成為筆者喜愛的魚款之一。有別於一般西式的煎焗方法,這道茶樹菇蒸鱈魚以蒸煮型式處理,並配上藥膳風味甚濃的茶樹菇作汁。菜餚本味不俗,但與高郵鹹蛋蝦球一樣犯了菜式失溫的問題。
來到北京樓,不能不吃招牌烤北京填鴨。一隻填鴨能切下兩碟鴨皮,相比坊間的同款菜式,這碟鴨皮所依附著的鴨肉份量絕對慷慨,鴨皮香脆,鴨肉味濃,再以京蔥鴨醬相伴,實屬一道美味菜餚。
剩下的鴨肉,依循慣例用以製作北平炒鴨崧配生菜片這味佳餚。碎粒除了鴨崧外,還拌入了蘿蔔粒、蔥粒及芹菜粒等,當中尤以芹菜的味道作主導,比鴨崧更搶味。
上湯茶樹菇小豆苗是全晚最清淡的菜餚,小豆苗清葱爽口,混入茶樹菇及芽菜口感味道更豐富。
滿口鮮鮑魚汁海鮮鍋巴以鮑汁炆煮鮑片、帶子及海蝦等海鮮,海鮮的精華盡在每滴醬汁之中,味道濃厚。鍋巴出品亦十分香脆。不過,筆者也同意家人説法,為鍋巴挑選醬材,鮑汁雖美,或許也不及酸汁來得匹配!
最後是甜品時間,生磨核桃露口感挺滑,味道 OK 喇!拔絲蘋果/香蕉的製作有點不對辦。蘋果及香蕉早在送上前已穿起糖衣,接下來在食客面前浸冰水,或許能增加少許脆感,但做不到拔絲效果。
回顧整頓晚飯,餐廳用餐環境佳,菜餚普遍美味,但因人手不足,服務只有一般評分,值得留意。

Yet, this restaurant did surprise me. It is located at Pacific Place, which is a convenient location for Central / Admiralty office guys. We booked the table at 7:30pm and it was rather full.
The restaurant was spacious, with quite some tables. However, some were just right next to the mall shopping area, that you could see people walking around when dining - not very comfortable in my point of view...
There were a range of food served, ranging from appetiser, soup, main, dessert. One very famous dish that near all tables ordered was the barbecued Peking duck. Yet, it was quite large portion that we two people definitely could not finish...
Alternatively, we chose to do the following:
1) Seafood & vegetable soup (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💢): Rich ingredient with quite many fish slices. Relishing with pepper tasted better.
2) Vegetable and mushroom in soup(⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💢): A light dish with vegetables. The portion was quite big and it is healthy!
3) Sauteed shredded pork with broad bean sauce(⭐️⭐️⭐️💢💢): An interesting dish with DIY element. However, it was rather salty and you would get tired of it after eating few. Suggest to share with lots of people.
4) Sauteed prawns with fresh lily bulbs & gherkin (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💢): Prawns were the highlights of the dish. They were fresh and clearly not frozen. The seasoning was good and not very salty. Recommend!
Overall, high food quality standard with good environment. Good location to take a break in between work!

烤鴨就好脆 俾埋青瓜 蒽同醬汁 可以包住食🙈 個皮熱辣辣 而且唔會好厚 食得好滋味
不過食得多會膩 所以建議多人share先好叫
而且好多枱客人都有叫呢個
所以都要等好耐 大概一個鐘到

我們例牌點了北京填鴨,因為小朋友鍾意食。
填鴨好好味,皮完全不會油淋淋,唯獨略欠香脆,不過小朋友包得開心食得開心,份量又多,已經可以食得飽。
小籠包皮薄多汁,正,個個小朋友鍾意食,個個食2粒,6粒唔夠食,要再encore
松子魚,帶點失食,小朋友唔食😓
宮爆蝦球,醬汁特別,蝦球爽又大,起初d汁食落帶酸甜,食到最後帶點辣,辣到我都要即刻飲水,整體來說係好味的。
超好味的津白,用上等的湯浸,吸收曬上湯的精華,食落好入味,可惜份量太少了,三位小朋友每人夾一撮已經所剩無計,難怪點菜時侍應勸加多碟菜,最後加多碟四季豆。
叉子燒餅,啖啖肉,燒餅又鬆脆。
較失色的拔絲香蕉,一條絲都唔見有。

炒魚同瑤柱飯,好難唔好食啦啩。對唔住,都係冇味。
蓮子金華火腿,比較好d, 但手工很粗,而且超咸。
廚房對用鹽應該自有一套。我真係識條鐵咩。。。

Once the food started to be served, it felt like it never stopped. He made me order so much food that our face started to resemble a Peking duck! ☹️ We were supposed to have an enjoyable evening with great company, nice food and wines but Mr. Ben had spoiled our night by selfishly pushing customers to over ordering food unwillingly. The worst part was that he didn't even stop after reaching the minimum spending requirement of 5000?! We ended up paying 7000 or more just on food items, and another 4000 or so on beverages, tea and nuts. This was highway robbery at its best! The most ironic part was we were charged 1100 dollars service charge for being slaughtered?! What madness! Service was so bad that we needed to instruct staffs what and when to collect away dirty dishes from the table. Rarely anyone attended to us in the private room when we needed services. I brought this up to the supervisor and Ben, but they didn't seem to feel sorry nor guilty on the recommendation over the minimum spending requirement which caused a huge wastage of food.
We sucked it up as a learning experience for choosing this restaurant. One more thing that topped our night was when we paid the full amount of the bill after our argument went no where, was that Maxim Group of restaurants usually gave discounts when paying with HSBC or American Express credit cards. When we asked why we didn't get that discount privilege of the promotion when we paid using the American Express credit card and their reply was that it did NOT apply to the private rooms! Only the people having dinner in the open restaurant can get the credit card discount. What kind of rules are set to punish the people who spends more at your restaurant?? Is it set by the same politicians who taxes the rich and rewards the not so rich? Robin Hood is in the House!
Please don't even consider dining here! Unless you don't mind to be scammed!
久違了的北京樓,今晚四位朋友一起聚餐,真係好難係香港食中菜碟碟都難食!
叫了一點都不新鮮的港式水煮魚、炒唔熟既京葱無味過糧梳打粉牛肉、淡而無味海蜇頭、極少麻醬雞絲潺粉皮,同埋極失望開水不知名無味白肉圓海鮮湯!
服務,真係唔想再踩....但真心唔得,食食下一手對盒牙籤埋黎胸前,轉身就行。叫住只有兩位要茶,唔洗倒照倒,叫佢收起兩位茶,因已叫啤酒真係唔飲茶,就黑晒面.........收小兩位介好似想死咁!
