To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

醫院往往比一種好sad的感覺,好彩,今次比我係博愛既canteen,遇上呢碟西炒飯,茄汁,香腸,蝦仁,火腿,加上葱粒,仿佛產生一種化學作用,使我感受到一口口甜絲絲的感覺。飯底軟硬適中,唔會炒到太乾,蝦仁夠香口,每一粒都有水份,火腿香腸香而不咸,加上蕃茄味!一碟好好食嘅西炒飯! continue reading

由於嫲嫲要到博愛醫院覆診,所以順道在他們的餐廳先吃過午餐才跟她覆診。湄南魚蛋湯河粉嫲嫲一向都喜歡吃魚蛋,所以她便點了一碗湄南魚蛋湯河粉。這碗魚蛋湯河粉裏的魚蛋比我們想像中還要多一點,還有一件像是鮮竹卷的東西。嫲嫲説魚蛋爽口彈牙之外,還有魚香味,像是鮮竹卷的東西也不錯,只是河粉碎了一點,但整體味道比想像中還要好。公司三文治雖然我的公司三文治說是即叫即製,看上去也像烘得非常香脆,但是吃上去沒有我想像中那麼脆身。餡料方面也令我感到有點失望,餡料不夠多,所有餡料都堆在三文治中間的位置,食完中間的餡料,再吃邊邊的位置是就像吃白麵包一樣。雖然嫲嫲的魚蛋湯河粉是不錯,但我的公司三文治卻令人失望。雖然如此,以醫院餐廳的質素來說,還尚算可以,不過絕對有待改善! continue reading

睇醫生順便食埋午餐。叫左個魚香茄子炒米。初時都驚好重口味。因為出面茶餐廳都好咸。好有穫氣.今次呢個明顯少油。少穫氣。賣相一般。味道咸淡適中。幾好食。比外面餐廳來得健康吧! continue reading

大人入院做小手術,午餐時間護士小姐體貼地告知等候中的家屬們,因病人們有午餐提供,我們則可以先行到地庫的職員餐廳吃飯,並溫馨提示這雖說是員工餐廳但也接待訪客的,所以大家可以放心入內進餐。位處地庫的職員餐廳真是好大,畢竟要容納醫院裡大部份醫護人員及員工在同一時間午飯嘛,要是街外的餐廳有如此大的面積,真是不知租金若干了?? 如快餐店的先付款後取餐形式,食品也如一般快餐店可見的雙餸飯、即炒小菜及燒味飯,還有兩款石頭飯唷,看清楚原來是美心出品的,難怪一切也熟口熟面,價錢分為訪客價及員工價兩種,較昂貴的訪客價已比街外美心便宜一點,何況更優惠的員工價?? 蜜汁燒雞腿飯($28)有一隻紅紅外皮跟平時美心一樣的雞腿,薄薄雞皮上是甜甜的蜜汁,基本上我是為這層甜汁而點的,不太大的雞腿燒得有點乾,雞肉絕不是滑溜雞肉之流,不過好久沒吃這道甜味頹飯,今天剛好遇到就選了她。白飯份量不多,飯粒尚算粒粒分明,輪候時聽到前面最少兩位女員工說要多飯?!女生大都要少飯,看不出嬌小的她們竟有男人飯量???原來這裡的飯量是偏少,尤其當加上甜豉油及有少量薑茸的惹味蔥油後,我也好像好快吃光這碗飯。在醫院的飯餐偏向清淡及均衡,有肉當也有菜,今天的蔬菜是一堆煮至軟軟的粉絲紹菜,如水煮的紹菜沒油份沒鹹味的,間中找到的少量粉絲如點綴般收藏在菜葉間,要是沒有那蔥油提味一下,我也像在吃病人餐哩。燒味飯還配一碗蓮藕豬骨湯,不夠熱的中湯裡有多件連皮蓮藕,爽脆蓮藕還未完全煲至出味,索索索的其實也蠻好吃的;全瘦豬骨沒丁點脂肪,這碗沒油份的中湯只下了很少量的鹽,成為顧客們一碗清清淡淡的健康湯水。     +$5.5的凍鴛鴦沒紅茶味也沒咖啡味,如一杯加冰的咖啡色凍飲,看到店裡大大張港式奶茶廣告,也許點杯熱奶茶會濃郁一點,那一刻有點想念早餐那杯起碼有咖啡味的凍鴛鴦。無論醫生或其他員工吃完飯皆自行將食具托盤拿回餐具回收處,因而大部份桌面也沒有上一手的餐具,只是食品水準比出面美心水準為低,難怪飯堂裡有自助微波爐讓員工們叮飯了。之前曾試過在病房裡吃餐,今次是首次在醫院飯堂跟一眾醫生護士齊齊吃飯,不知是所坐位置問題較遠還是客人操守關係,總覺得這裡雖然人多但又不太嘈吵,當午飯高峰期過後更顯清靜,不過我還是選擇回手術室外等候,只因那裡更加清靜也讓我看了好多頁的小說,不過那厚如字典的小說還是仍未看完。 continue reading
