今日帶個英國素食者朋友遊港島,因為想睇動植物公園,所以係附近搵到呢間心齋。岩岩過左lunch hour所以唔使等位,但見到大部分食既人都係附近OL,加少少遊客。菜苗燒賣同煎餃子雖然冇乜特別,但都好好食蘿蔔絲酥餅都唔錯,但嫌佢酥皮唔夠鬆化,都可以接受但腸粉就真係麻麻,素食入面係菇,但切得好碎,冇乜菇味,個皮仲要好林人均$100食得唔多野,不過不失啦,都ok既下次試其他野可俾多次機會,菜苗餃子值得再食。

however, the mushroom dishes which seem to be their selling point were very good. we had three kind of different mushroom dishes, with two showing a new twist and were cooked very well. the sweet sour mushroom dishes was just the average sweet sour dish - nothing special but good. I would also recommend coming earlier cause they close punctually at 10 pm during the week.

在半山花園道這仿似遠離塵囂的地段,最近筆者驚喜的在那裡嚐到了一頓正宗用心的齋菜,餐廳位於麥當勞道的一個商業大廈之內,驟眼看好像頗隔涉,但其實與金鐘也只是5分鐘左右車程,坐的士上去也不用跳錶。店內地方頗寬廣,設計以啡黑木材為主調,配上字畫、佛像和花卉等裝飾擺設,裝潢優雅得來帶點東方色彩,平和寧靜,滲著淡淡的「禪」意。這店是一間「純粹」的素菜,不會像坊間有些素食館,齋口不齋心,以素扮肉,這裡切切實實的告訴你 --- 我是素菜!餐牌內大多以珍菌類入饌,雖然無奶無蛋,無味精無五辛,但菜式卻仍然可以很多元化,大廚功架實不能少窺。 松茸土瓶蒸(燉湯),湯色深厚,入口濃香甜美,松茸香徐徐滲出,餘韻悠長,如不說明還以為在喝松茸燉肉湯,十分有驚喜。椒鹽金針菇,即叫即炸熱辣辣,酥脆乾身不油膩,入口帶著濃濃的椒鹽香,鹹香惹味。香草焗淮山猴頭菇,一般來說猴頭菇通常都是用來煲湯居多,想不到這裏的大廚創新地 以香草干焗形式處理,入口爽脆,香草味超級濃郁,還伴上淮山增加不同口感,濃厚香口。乾鍋百頁豆腐,乾鍋是川菜的其中一種做法,大廚以紅椒、青椒加上腰果和百頁豆腐入饌,煙韌脆口,滿有四川麻辣氣息,在素菜之中比較少見有
